Free-wheeling enchange with Greg Stinson  (w/bonus below)

 From   gstinson7176@hotmail.com

This is even more fun that trashing your nonsense!

(He's reacting to yesterday's The Good Old Days)

 - When I see proof of a conspiracy, [in Florida] I'll believe it.  As it stands, Democrats still designed the ballot.  The people who came forward were baited to do so by a Democratic-funded telemarketing service.

 Whoa, where is that documented?
(The vulgar Pigboy doesn't count as a source.)
You may technically be right, but the ballot designer, I believe,
has quit the party and joined another since then - coincidence?

The New York Times (paragon of liberal ideaology)even released a report showing no wrongdoing.
If it comes to the point that they know Bush acted illegally, I'll march with Bartcop and everybody else.
Until then, you sound exactly like a right winger talking about blow jobs.

I know of no NYT report saying there was "no wrongdoing."
Too many documented acts have been reported.

He has taken our economy backwards...

 - This is where he loses all credibility not only to me, but to any self-respecting publisher or editor as well.
Notice there are no facts, only vague stammerings about ways of life and state of affairs?

Geez, Greg, pick up a newspaper.
Bush said he HAD to cut taxes to jump-start the failing economy.
Now you say it's not failing?

 - Blaming George Bush on the economy is either complete ignorance or blatantly dishonest partisanship.
Everybody who takes the government seriously knows that the economy spiraled downward on Clinton's watch.

Then why did Bush say we needed a tax cut because the economy was so strong?

Everybody who knows anything at all about economics saw the boom trends of new IT job openings and
dot coms and its connection to said IT industry bombing, FOLLOWED by the economy.

You guys always want to blame someone besides the guy steering the ship - why is that?
Why do you think the voters fired his dad?
Because his policies, unlike those of Clinton, caused or worsened the recession.

He has alienated the rest of the world...

 - This is simply a matter of idealogy.  I'm of the opinion that we're influential enough to not be tied down
by opinion from nations that depend more on us than we do of them.  Although, I have a funny feeling
Mr Point doesn't really care that the other nations are alienated; it's a merely another anti-Bush argument.

I think you missed the point.
It's one thing to have radical, non-scientific ideas,
but telling your allies to "Fuck off," is rarely a great idea.

He has sold out America to the wealthy by pushing a "tax cut"
He is a puppet of corporate America, One of his closest advisors has been Ken Lay,

Hey, nodody's going to argue the Republican tendency to spend and pander toward corporations.
Although, how about Jack Points does a little party introspection and starts questioning the
 Democratic connection to trial attorneys.

That's a bogus rap, always has been.
You think rich corps shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes.
The only lawsuit you guys ever loved was Paula Jones.
Other than PJ, you tell the children burned in faulty GM trucks to "get over it."
That's why you guys get the reputation for being cold-hearted and uncaring monsters.

He signed an "executive order" allowing the White House
to veto the release of their  presidential papers.

Funny....the Republicans are pissed off because he signed this order after attempts at
getting at some Clinton papers.  But, you're right. I'm sure it's just his dad.

Who are the Repubs who blasted Bush for doing this?

Anyway, onto Clinton:
Peace?  For whom?

 ha ha
Yeah, we all remember the Clinton wars and Clinton recessions.

Prosperity?  The rise and fall of Clinton's economic plan...all within his administration

Rush said 1,000 times - "you can't tax yourselves into prosperity"
But when Wall Street saw Clinton was cleaning up Reagan's voodoo,
they responded by investing in America.

When the voodoo came back, here come the monster deficits and another Bush recession.
Like I said, you blame EVERYBODY but the guy driving the bus.

 Safety?  Again, for whom?

 Peace = safety.
What is the point you're not making?

Friendly?  Yeah, I'll give him that.....(*wondering how that's relevant*)

People love Clinton, but Bush can't go out in public without a hand-picked, friendly crowd bussed in.

Security?  Apparently not....judging from recent events.

Recent events that happened on Bush's watch...

Money?  Here today, gone tomorrow...again, all under his administration

Yeah, Clinton tripled the stock market, and Bush crashed it.
Which part do you not understand?

Happiness?  I was happy then, and am happy now, and will be happy in the future.
If the President is the impetus for your happiness, God help you, you miserable wretch.

 Me?
I'd be happy if he'd stop lying.
He said we needed a tax cut because the economy was so strong.
Then he said we needed one because it's too weak.

We know the truth - he wants to reward his billionaire friends so he can afford another run in 2004.
Think he can win without Jeb as governor?

Jobs?  I still say we owe all of that to Y2K.
Tell me how many non-Y2k jobs, non-tech jobs, and non-government jobs he created.
 THEN we'll talk.

 Clinton created 20 million jobs.
You hate it when the facts add up for Clinton.
Bush has lost over a million jobs since the voodoo took over.
It's called math, son - look into it.

Intelligent?  Smart man.  You have to be smart to get so far in life.

 ha ha

Or have a daddy who ran the CIA and made secret deals to get elected
and traded American soldier's lives for the oil in Bahrain.
Bush CAUSED the war in Kuwait.
He sent Saddam a Telex saying "Take what you want!"

...and you think Bush is president because he's smart?
If he's smart, why can't he answer simple questions?

Environment?  Did nothing for it....unless you count that stupid arsenic bill.
Can you taste that extra tenth of a milliliter?

Clinton was crucified for setting land aside, while Bush wants to reverse that and drill in Yosemite.
One problem your side has is Rush.
If Rush is going to tear into Clinton year after year for being (in his best sissy voice)
"so concerned about the environment" then people like you can't turn around
 and say, "Clinton did nothing."
If you're calling Rush a lying Nazi whore, I'll agree with you,
but you can't say "Rush is honest" AND say "Clinton did nothing for the environment."

Pick a slur and stick with it.

Growth?  Isn't that the same as Prosperity?  Or do you mean
physical growth...in which case I grew 3 inches from the time he entered office.

 A-ha!
 You're very young.
 That explains the ignorance.
 Don't worry - you read  bartcop.com
You'll get smarter as you grow older.

Nice?  Everyone admits Clinton is nice.  But they say the same about George.
People without charisma don't make it too far in life....unless you're married to a former President.

No, George is a back-slapper who gives out nicknames because he
doesn't have the brains to remember the persons real name.
Bush has the opposite of charisma - he has tons of cash.

One day, you'll give up and allow me a debate.

 ha ha
Wish I had a dime for every debate I "ducked."
How about we meet in the bartcop chat room?
Send me an e-mail with the night you're free.

...or are you "too busy" now?

Until then, keep hiding behind graphics and supposition.
I even GAVE you a LEGITIMATE news story that was anti-Ashcroft
and you ignored it in favor of slander and mudslinging.

I don't know what that means...
I read your anti-Ashcroft mail & ignored it?
 That doesn't sound like me.

What's it like to be so stupid yet believe yourself to be so smart?

 A better question is:
What's it like to be stupid and still be smarter than the president of the United States?

 Answer: Scary yet flattering.

Keep on runnin, Bartcop.  One day, maybe you'll grow balls and step out of your protected little shell
and allow yourself  to be confronted by idealogy superior and more progressive than your own.
And I'm not just talking about me.  Keep fueling your anger and ignoring your reason.

Greg, I'm thinking you're just the guy who can take me down a peg or two.

My only concern and beef with you is that your website is probably the most popular website that
peddles in blatant slant and disinformation.  I worry that too many young, uneducated minds will
swallow the crap you dish out without researching any further.  And what will we have then?
A bunch of so-called political activists that don't know a filibuster from a George Foreman grill.

I think you're coming in backwards, Greg.
The reason your letter is being read by dozens is because I like to debate.
Debating you is something I look forward to more with each paragraph.

I would, though, like to make a challenge to you.

Document media bias.  You and everybody else screams and yells about conservative bias,
but so far, all I can find as evidence is the voracious coverage of Clinton and Condit.
Those stories, naturally, are impossible to ignore for a newsman.

Dude, have you never read this website before?
What do you think the 677 back issues are about?

What about Hillary running over a police officer as she sped through an airport checkpoint?
The officer is still injured and still unable to work with no apology.  If the media is so biased,
why has only the Washington Post and Newsmax.com picked up on the story?

That was a Rush-inspired joke, and as much as they love to bash Hillary, there's nothing to that.
Did you read the cops story? He was standing still when Hillary's limo shot by him going 50 MPH, which
was "so fast, I thought it might be a terrorist," so he gave chase and caught the 50 MPH limo, then
ran alongside the car (all this time maintaining a 50 MPH pace) and he hurt his shoulder by ramming it
into the door of the limo while still running at 50 MPH.

...and you wonder why the media doesn'tt play that up?
You'd have to be Rush to try to convince people on that one,
but it looks like Rush did well with you, my young friend.

You won't answer my challenge, just as you won't answer my requests for an open, intelligent debate.
Truth is frightening, isn't it?  I can handle someone getting the upper hand on me in a debate.
 In fact, I respect it.

You talk shit about Rush Limbaugh.  Well, I don't agree with everything he says, either,
but at least he welcomes the chance for opposite idealogies to come into his airwaves.

 ha ha

I've been listeing since 1991 or so, and I've never heard a liberal speak on his show.  The King of Lies
claims he puts liberals at the front of the line, yet none ever get on. I guess that's how the Democrats won
the last three popular votes - because there are no liberals in the United States anymore.

You suppress dissension.  I can only come to this conclusion because you've continually ignored my fervent
request to debate (which only became fervent after your snide comments and sanctimonious attitude).

 Dude, have we met?

Of course, had you not been so "Oh, I can kick anybody's ass in a debate", I would be nearly as insistent.
I'm a big fan of putting money where mouths are, but apparently, you are not.

 ha ha
You want to bet on the debate?
How do we score a victory?
 When you start crying?

I just don't understand how someone who believes so strongly in his/her convictions
isn't willing to defend them or argue them.

This can't be for real - Artie, is that you?
You think my problem is I'm unwilling to defend my convictions?

 ha ha

Let's get back to betting on our debate.

 One thing, tho:
You have to know what the Iran-Contra pardons are.
You don't have to agree they they buried tons & tons of Reagan/Bush felonies,
you just have to know what the Iran-Contra pardons are and who issued them.

 Your move, Greg.
