Quotes
"After careful reflection, I've concluded that
at this moment in our history, with so many
important decisions to be made about
our nation's future, my passion lies here in the Senate
serving the people of South Dakota and
fighting for working families all across America."
-- Tom Daschle, deciding against running
for president in 2004
Tell the truth, Senator.
After groveling at Bush's feet for two years, and jumping every
time he barked, you don't have any
support from your party so there's no way you can win the Democratic
nomination for president.
We need a fighter to lead us to victory, not a groveler.
Subject: a question for that Ann Coulter bitch
Bartcop,
The congenial Ann Coulter recently screeched
that journalists are "lazy, catty, vengeful."
The media, she hissed, regularly misquotes
her or makes up outright lies.
She says journalists rarely do any research
and make heinous mistake after heinous mistake
My question: Where does Ann Slanders
get most of her
"research" when she scrawls her best-selling
rants?
That's right -- from the rotten media she
regularly disembowels.
What does that say about her credibility and power of reason?
Daphne Dog
Daphne,
Ann is trying to sell books.
She has no credibility or power of reason,
but I half-agree with Coulter about journalists.
There seems to be three kinds of journalists:
The partisan
lying whores like Rush and Fox News
The lazy, catty, sloppy rulebreakers
who just hate what they've become
(Jennifer Liberto, call your office...)
The smallest group is the one
Helen Thomas is in.
BC:
Thought you could use this one. Here's a quote from a black California Republican.
"As a Bush delegate at the 2000 convention
in Philadelphia, I proudly wore my delegate's
badge and RNC lapel pin as I worked
the convention. Regardless of the fact that I was
obviously a delegate prominently displaying
my credentials, no less than six times did
white delegates dismissively tell me
to fetch them a taxi or carry their luggage."

Jim, is his name "Tom?"
Tom's all shocked the GOP sees him as a slave?

We're all shocked, Tom
Gees, why does he think he was named a delegate?
I'll tell you why...

Subject: I am Outraged!
BC,
Last night 60 Minutes II did a story on hunger
in America. They showed long lines at the Food Shelter
in Marietta, Ohio. Some 850 people were
lining up for food handouts. The amazing thing was as the
camera panned down the line, all of the aid recipients
were WHITE!
It made me once again want to don the robes of
the Supreme Court Jester and stand by that line
shouting through a bull horn "So how do you
like your boy Bush now? How much of a
tax cut do you think you're going to get?
Aren't you glad you voted for Bush?".
These white, rural, religious people are the backbone
of Republican support. Under Clinton they had jobs,
under Bush they're standing in a god damn bread
line and they're too stupid to get the connection.
I was so outraged that I screamed a line borrowed
from Howard Stern's resident racist, Daniel Carville,
"Wake up white people! Look around,
you can't feed your families because of the man YOU voted for?"
DC in DC
Dennis, it reminds me of military families.
They'd rather have Bush send their son to his death in the sand than
have them come home safely
under a "nigger-loving faggot" like Bill Clinton, who never sent a
man into battle who didn't come home.
Hating Clinton is what's important,
not coming home alive or putting food on their family.

Apparently they are upset with comments
he made at Strom Thurmond's birthday party."

Democratic Response to the
State
of the Union Message
by Party_like_its_1984
Excerpt:
I am sure that it is shocking for many
of you to hear a view of the state of the union that is so
different from the picture painted by the
president. Unfortunately, the picture painted by the
president is an illusion. It is a
flim-flam designed to keep you from realizing what is going on
until it is too late. This attempted
flim-flam is an insult to all Americans. We are deeply
ashamed to admit that our silence has indirectly
helped the flim-flam to work.

Subject: re: "god botherers"
Loved the bit about the Aussie slang for
the religious right (which all too often is neither).
I have a friend who's come up with another
one I like: "snake-waving Jew haters".
Then there's also the old standby, "Shiite
Baptists".
Keep up the good work.

Subject: Important stuff
Tried hard to find the "regular mail" contact
information from your website, but couldn't.
So I thought I would send this to the person
in charge of IMPORTANT stuff.
Anyway, thank you Bartcop for being there
everyday for us - informing, illuminating, ranting,
organizing, promoting . . . . . and all
the rest of the great stuff you do by publishing your site everyday.
Knowing that there's people like you -
I'm sure we'll be able to turn the tide again.

Reminder:
When they say "worthless social programs," what they mean
is,
"Screw the darkies and the poor - they didn't
vote for us anyway."
When they say "class warfare," they mean,
"What do you have against the super-rich taking
money from the poor?"
