Today is Martin Luther King day and I was contemplating the current
state of the world.
Needless to say I am less than overjoyed. Let's face it globally,
nationally, locally, the outlook is
rather bleak. On the global front George the second is running around frantically
like a nurses aid
or janitor trying to clean up feculent foreign policy messes left on this
planet by his not so illustrious
predecessors emperor Ron and his dear old dad George the First and their
incontinent foreign policies.
That is why they bought you your job and everything else, isn't it George?
Where are those Diplomatic
Depends undergarments when you need them ? I hope you've been fitted your
new and improved
longlasting four year Diplomatic Depends, as it seems that you have decided
to follow, or shall I say
step right in their footsteps.Watch your step George, be careful
that you don't slip and fall in one of
those little troublesome feculent foreign policy messes left on the diplomatic
path ahead by emperor
Ron and George the First. Just a little reminder George watch your step,
slipping and falling can be
very messy and is very odious. You may be willing and able wallow in the
foreign policy fecal matter
created by you and your predecessors, I like many other inhabitants of
this planet would not.
On the national front our civil rights again failed to make it on to endangered
species list.
Apparently, George the First and Reich Homeland Security Minister Ridge
have decided not to
concern themselves with such trivial and bothersome matters as civil liberties,
the Bill of Rights,
and due process of law. After all they are chosen ones, the Few, the Proud,
the Privileged,
the rich, Republican, hypo-Christian, lily-white male master race!
However on a happier note,
His Royal Highness George the first has decided to extend the protection
of endangered species
act to the richest one percent of Americans, who just happen to own 40%
of all stock. It is
perfectly logical in a convoluted sort of way to protect the ultra
rich from anything that might
endanger their precarious grip on vast amounts wealth and power. They are
only holding on to
all the wealth and all the power in a selfless sacrificial act. To save
rest of America and the world
from knowing the pain and misery of being burdened with all that wealth
and power. I just want to
express my deepest gratitude and sincerest admiration to George the First,
and the ultra righteous
rich for protecting myself and the vast numbers of not only Americans but
the rest of the world's
population from the unbearable burden of a decent, comfortable life and
basic human rights.
On the local front I think best to say its a beautiful winter day with
a clear, crisp beautiful blue sky.
I think I will go out and enjoy this before this, too, becomes a thing
of the past!
