Subject: Michael Moore
Moore, the author of Stupid White Men called Clinton
the "best Republican President we've ever had."
Well, sure.
Remember yesterday when I told Sacha that if you're standing on "A,"
then it looks like "E" and "Z" are standing close together.
Of course, there are 19 steps between "E" and "Z," but from "A's" point
of view, we all look alike.
I immediately thought of you.
That's sweet.
Why would Dateline do an expose on Bush?
There's no reason to.
Look, just because the media recognized what
a ratings-grabber an adulterous
President is doesn't mean there's some grand
right wing conspiracy.
The media has refused to look into the very, very basics about Bush
since Day One.
When was the last time a man ran for president in this country and
"How many times have you been convicted of
a crime?" wasn't asked.
For the unelected Boy King, that question is considered "out of bounds?"
Clinton's sins were front page news on every "respected" newspaper in
America
but Bush's undiscovered felonies are "none of our concern?"
That's horseshit!
You have to take things into consideration.
A. You don't trash a President with no
impetus to do so when his approval is so high.
B. The ratings would plummet.
That MIGHT explain the post-9/11 lovefest, but explain the 2000 presidential
campaign.
Explain why Bush got a free ride.
Explain why Bush was never asked any serious questions about anything.
Explain why Bush never had to explain his positions on any subject
besides tax cuts.
Bush couldn't explain his budget any more than I could, and everybody
knew it,
so nobody asked him - he was just given a total and complete pass.
Then, in the debates, when asked a specific question, Bush would say,
"It's really time for the next question,"
or
"Is he allowed to ask me that?"
or
"If it's what I said then I agree and if it's
not then I don't."
Nobody significantly flamed Clinton until Monica.
What year were you born? 1998?
Bob Barr was drawing up impeachment proceedures before January 1998.
That's the month when the world learned Monica's name.
That scandal was more entertaining than any fictional
show.
It has nothing to do with politics. It's
ratings, dude.
That's the first true sentence from you. So explain
why a sitting president with a cocaine felony,
an abortion and going AWOL during wartime isn't
ratings-worthy. It's not like these charges
were discussed and proven baseless - they were
never asked or followed up on.
Let Bush go cheat on Laura and THEN see what happens.
Screw the sins, what about the missing trillions?
What about the stolen election?
What about the AWOL, the cocaine and the abortion?
AWOL during wartime is punishable by death.
Cocaine can get you life in Bush's precious Texas,
and abortions were VERY illegal in 1972 in Houston, but then,
nothing has ever been illegal for the Bush Family Evil Empire.
You might have a case to bitch, you might not.
As it stands, it appears to me that you
just can't stand opposing viewpoints and you
get all pissy about it and rather than debate
intellectually, you jump on the "vast right wing
conspiracy" bandwagon.
Which is complete bullshit.
Greg
Greg, you'd appear more legitimate if you could answer the questions.
