AM talk radio/Conservative radio is popular
for only one reason.
It is because the average American seeks
the truth.
ha ha
They say it's always a good idea to start with a joke.
The media networks have been saturated with
biased news information for decades.
The Average Joe works for a living and
doesn't have the time to watch talking heads
trying to convince them that what they
see going on in the government is not really
what they see after all.
What?
Did you hear that on Rush's show or Hannity's show?
People have enough intelligence to think and reason on their own.
ha ha
They do not.
Most people are almost as stupid as Bush.
If people had any brains, they wouldn't have voted for Buchanan
when they thought they were voting for Gore in Florida.
Who told you people were smart? O' Reilly?
Therefore conservative AM radio was discovered
by most Americans,
and it offered a refreshing change from
the same old head drumming.
Take out the word "refreshing" and I'll mostly agree with that.
It actually started analyzing what politicians
say and vote for, and Americans
were told the other side of the story.
Americans desire to be truly informed.
Good God, man. Rush has done well with you.
You seem to think Rush and the others are here to clarify the
issues?
You think Rush is here to set the record straight?
Rush makes $20M a month - that's why he's here.
That's the only reason he's here - for the money.
Rush is so non-political, he never voted for Reagan.
He said he didn't want to bother standing in line to register.
Rush isn't about conservatism or even politics.
He's about making tons of money.
How naive can you be?
Besides, Democrats won the last three popular votes for president,
so maybe you have a small point about voters being truly informed.
Can the democrats take advantage of balancing
the AM station?
Well, it just wont work.
I bet my cushy job in the middle of a Bush recession that you're
wrong.
Granted, I won't be on the AM radio because I represent the majority,
but isn't it funny that the majority can't be heard in this country?
AM conservative radio is not successful
because of its hosts, it is
successful because they actually carry
the true mainstream point of view.
There you go again.
Remember, the Democrats won the last three presidential popular
votes.
Why do you think the Republican minority is the mainstream?
By definition, the minority can't be mainstream, or it would
be the majority.
I don't listen to AM radio for the quality
of the station. (Ha, Ha) I listen to
what I can relate to. If a liberal / Democrat
host was on, id simply turn channels
to a Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and the
like. And I feel most Americans are
the same. If they don't want to hear it,
they turn it off.
That's one possible explanation, I'll give you another:
I think conservatives are scared that their "white, straight,
rich-only America"
is in danger so they dial up 24/7 reassurance from bigoted loudmouths
like Rush.
Rush says Hillary is here to force homosexuality down the throats
of your children.
Well, Rush won't let her do that, neither will FOX News
You guys can't make it thru a single day without FOX, Rush, and
the rest.
You have to be told on an hourly basis that your side is safe
or you'll collapse.
Radio isn't the only media the left needs
to worry about.
FOX news is generating a news hungry conservative
following, I wonder why?
Granted, a big part, almost half of the country is conservative.
They don't want the facts, they want to be reassured.
FOX doesn't exist to tell the truth or to be a watchdog for the
people.
FOX exists to make gobs of cash, and in a money-driven world,
they maximize profits
by tabloiding the news to fit the customer's expectations. All
the networks turned whore,
but FOX is clearly the worst of the bunch. They got the gold
medal for whoredom.
Because they at least offer a truly balanced view point of the current political news.
That's insanity.
FOX doesn't even have a 90/10 balance -
it's all conservative all the time.
Alan Colmes is the worst debater in history
- that's why he's Hannity's partner.
His job is to be so inept that Hannity
appears sane and normal by comparison.
Mara Liason and Juan Williams are turncoats,
whores and traitors.
They pretend they're leftists, but when
Tony Snow or Brit Hume show them
where they're wrong, they cave in and say,
"You're
right again, Tony and Brit!"
The only place on TV with any balance is
Crossfire
and we win there every damn night.
I can out-debate anyone you've ever e-mailed
and I'm not that smart, but I can make
a surrender monkey out of any Republican
in just a matter of minutes.
How? My side is right.
Odds are this is your first visit to
bartcop.com
but trust me when I say I've been begging
for YEARS
for someone to step forward and shut me up and take me down a peg.
We get dozens of hits each day,
but even after all these years, nobody has the courage
to get in the ring and answer a few simple
questions. Maybe I should offer a reward.
IM sure my point of view wont be accepted,
but
it has been a true experience for me.
I use to believe what I heard on the network
news.
Enjoy!
Steve
Steve, we agree on that.
Network news didn't turn total whore until Clinton's presidency.
Remember Woodward and Bernstein during Watergate?
They had to have TWO sources confirm a story before they'd print
something.
These days, if someone hears a rumor, FOX says "fuck it" and puts
it on the air.
Drudge and Rush control the news decisions of the New York Times.
If Drudge says Clinton fathered a baby with a black crack whore,
the NWTimes runs that rumor on their front page, above
the fold.
If Rush says Hillary murdered Vince Foster in her secret Washington
apartment,
the New York Whore Times runs with the story like it was the
truth.
During impeachment, The Dallas Morning News ran a story saying
a Secret Service
agent walked in on Monica blowing Clinton one day. When asked
why they ran it,
they said, "We couldn't verify if it
was true or not, so we ran it anyway."
The news business was once an honorable profession, but now silly
rags like
the National Enquirer have as much credibility as any paper in
America.
Isn't that sad?
I think you're as wrong as you can be, but you were polite and
civil.
That's a rarity these days, thanks.
I enjoyed the exchange.
PS. If you know anyone who's willing to debate, tell them they
can have their friends
help them and I'll be extra polite
- whatever it takes to get something going.
