"Once the war against Saddam Hussein begins, we expect every American to support our military,
and if you can't do that, just shut up. Americans, and indeed our foreign allies who actively work
against our military once the war is underway, will be considered enemies of the state by me.
Just fair warning to you, Barbra Streisand and others who see the world as you do. I don't want
to demonize anyone, but anyone who hurts this country in a time like this, well. Let's just say
you will be spotlighted. Talking points invites all points of view and believes vigorous debate
strengthens the country, but once decisions have been made and lives are on the line,
  patriotism must be factored in."

Last night I was watching Comedy Central. A minute or two before 10:00 p.m. as I
prepared to catch Jon Stewart, I noticed a scrawl on my screen, in the format of my
 digital cable channel selection guide.

ATTENTION, it said turn immediately to Channel 27 for the O'Reilly Factor.

People must have turned to Fox News, assuming there was some breaking news story.
Of course, there was no such breaking story, just another typical harangue from O'Reilly.

What kind of manipulation is this!?

 The worst kind.

Is Cox Cable behind this bait-and-switch?

It would appear so - who else can manipulate their signal?

Have you heard anything else about this?
 Michael in Wichita

Sounds like the "liberal media" again.

By Koresh, we'll build BartCop Radio into a powerhouse and make O'Reilly
come begging to buy ad time - and then we'll tell him, "No!  Be gone, Monkey!"

Subject: Bart, are you a racist?

 Dear Bart:

I gave notice to the fact that a few times the blacks on your site are referred to as
"cheese-eating, surrender monkeys" or as in the case of Tiger woods ....."Mr.Perfect,"
sometimes,  even with ebonics...I know for a fact that you have a lot of Black readers
that love the site. I think for the numbers to grow, to help you rise to the place where
you would like to go you should not insult anyone in a racist manner.

 thank you
 tinnlinn

Tinn, I think "cheese-eating surrender monkey" is a damn funny phrase.
You know who came up with it?

The Irish/Scottish janitor who clean's Bart's school on The Simpsons
and he used it to describe the French. Since all the warmongers hate the French
for slowing down Bush's Blood Train. the GOP has adopted the phrase as their own.

The surrender monkey Tyson fought was named "Etienne," which sounds French to me.
So you see, it was a French joke, not a race joke.

As far as Mr Perfect, I'll be honest - I don't like the guy.
It's not because he's black. It's because he's a black leader who got his
and seems to have the attitude that other blacks without his talent can go to hell.

Thousands of black people died to open doors for minorities like Woods, and now he
repays the favor by counting his hundreds of millions of dollars while women are being
shut out of places like the Augusta whatever that place is called?

Also, I believe his very first Nike commercial had something to do with him helping
to break down race barriers, but once he got his hundred million in thr bank, all that
"Let's help my brothers" stuff stopped real quick..

You forgot to mention that I've said bad things about Clarence "Slappy" Thomas.

 Bartcop,

Since I felt that my brain was working to hard, and wanted to give it a break,
I thougt I would visit your website.  Boy am I glad I did.

He's lying, he writes every day.

Your Monkey Mail about federal programs was so stupid,
even for a weenie liberal linguine no spine liberal like you.

That sentence would be impossible to diagram, but it had no spelling errors.
 Not bad for a monkey.

Social Security is not a federal program, it is funded by deductions out of
our own paychecks, you moron.  You liberal are just so use to having taxes
taken out, you dont even keep track of who does it.

 Scott the Monkey
 Bush '04

But Monkey, if Social Security isn't a federal program, who writes the checks?
You think the individual states write those checks from Washington DC?
Do you think those checks that says "The United States of America,"
are from someone besides the United States of America?

By the way, are you a natural red-assed monkey?
Or have you been arguing with a liberal?

Subject: My Call to the White House

As part of the Win Without War Virtual March on Washington

I called the White House and delivered the following message.

I would like to express my opposition to a war with Iraq.
I am outraged that American is being forced into this war by a greedy administration
and that the tragic deaths of September 11th are being used as an excuse for an action
that has been planned for years prior to the 2000 elections.

The ironic part was that while waiting, iTunes shuffled to "Another One Bites the Dust."

After delivering my message, iTunes shuffled to Pink Floyd's "the Dogs of War."

 Pension de-form

  Excerpt:
...CSX decided to let John Snow factor in the stock benefits he had received as regular income,
instead of just salary, as is normally done. At the same time CSX was giving Snow this lovely deal,
it was cutting the health benefits in its retirement plan for lesser workers. Since Secretary Snow is
now in charge of pension policy at the Treasury, can we look forward to similar deals for ourselves?
Yep -- but we're in the class that gets the cuts, not the parachute.

If you're wondering why you haven't heard much about this, let me suggest two reasons. One is
that TV news is in its one-story, Dead Diana mode: All they have time for is Iraq and the occasional
nightclub fire. The second is the consequence of having all the media owned by a few giant corporations.
It is not in the interest of these corporations to have such news widely reported. .

Subject: Pigboy says war in Iraq will make everything OK

 BC:

Was unfortunate enough to catch the vulgar pigboy yesterday afternoon in my car.
A caller was suggesting that, with 55 votes, the Senate just “put Estrada on the court.”
Sure, why not?  That’s not much different from what they did with W in 2000.  But I digress.

Pigboy told the caller to be a little more patient, because the war in Iraq was coming,
and when it did, “everything would turn around.”  The Democrats would cave on Estrada
(unfortunately, he’s probably right on that one), the economy and stock market would
improve and Too Stupid to be President’s ratings would soar.

This just proves what you and the rest of us against this war have been saying all along
—that the REAL reason for the war is not for our security; it’s for reasons of political gain (and ego)!

Is he far gone, or what?

 Steve

Steve, I hate it when Rush is right.
The Democrats will cave on Estrada, it'll probably be a short war,
then Bush will be called a "war hero" by the GOP-owned media
and we're stuck, once again, being right and powerless.

 Klan supports Augusta men-only policies

  Excerpt:
The Augusta National Golf Club's policy of all-male membership has gained a
surprise supporter, the American White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

.J. Harper, imperial wizard of the Cordele-based KKK group requested an application
for a permit from Richmond County to protest during the Masters tournament.

"We are going to stand up for the rights of the Augusta National to choose whomever
they want to choose as a member of their club," Harper said in a telephone interview.

So, Rush, Tiger and the Rerpublican Party are in bed with the KKK?
 I'm shocked.

 ha ha

The KKK is going to be supoorting the biggest bigoted golf show in the world?

 ha ha

 I'm sooooo there, Dude.

 Bart,

Top 10 Rules for Being a Good Republican
The really sad part is that this list is not an exaggeration.
They actually think this way.  Very distressing.

10) You believe that only your own teenagers are still virgins.
9)   You believe that those privileged from birth achieve success all on their own.
8)   You are against government programs, but expect Social Security checks on time.
7)   You believe that pollution is ok, so long as it makes a profit.
6)   You believe Chi-Com missiles have killed more Americans than handguns, alcohol, and tobacco.
5)   You believe that society is color-blind, but you still won't vote for Alan Keyes.
4)   You believe that the ACLU is bad because they defend the Constitution,
while the NRA is good because they defend the Constitution.
3)   You believe that it was wise to hire Ken Starr to spend $50 million dollars to attack Clinton
because no other U.S. presidents have ever been unfaithful to their wives.
2)   You believe that the Clinton prosperity was due to the work of Reagan & Bush,
but today's growing deficit and rising gas prices are all Clinton's fault.

And Rule #1 for being a Good Republican:

1)   You believe that we should forgive Newt, Hyde, Burton, Shippers and Livingston for their
marital infidelities, but that bastard Bill Clinton had to be impeached.

 German lessons
Bush should not mess with history
Read it in The Guardian, a paper not owned by the GOP

  Attribution

When America defeats its enemies, George W Bush said in his speech
on Iraq this week, it leaves not occupying armies but democracy and liberty.
"There was a time when many said that the cultures of Japan and Germany
were incapable of sustaining democratic values. Well, they were wrong."

In fact, it is Mr Bush who is wrong. Japanese men got the vote in 1925, not in 1945,
as the president implied. And German men won the vote as far back as 1849, albeit
subject to a property qualification, at a time when Mr Bush's country practised legalised
slavery. Bearing in mind that America only became a full democracy in 1965, and Germany
in 1946, there is a case for saying that Germans have at least as strong a democratic tradition
as Americans. What's more, there is no dispute about who actually won the last German election,
which is more than can be said about the means by which Mr Bush came to office.

A little historical humility would do the president no harm

 So let's review:

*The Bush family has had a business association with the bin Ladens for years,

*Cheney's Halliburton made millions getting Saddam back on his oily feet

*Rummy took part in selling North Korea its nuclear reactors, but it, too,

Why isn't that goddamned liberal media reporting this??

Subject: Bushism in your "Blood Train" issue -- quite funny!

 Bart,

In your 2/27 "Blood Train" edition, you quoted the Dim Son thus:

"By blocking a vote on Miguel Estrada, some Democrats are flaunting the intention
of the Constitution and the tradition of the Senate, itself..."
    --Dubya, Washington, D.C., Feb. 26, 2003   (dubyaspeak.com)

Funny thing is, to "flaunt" is to "to wave or flutter showily" (merriamwebster.com).
This has traditionally had a positive connotation. The Village Idiot obviously confused
the word with "flout" ("to treat with contemptuous disregard") -- though it is a common error.

So damn those Democrats, for waving about the Constitution,
when they should have been treating it with the contempt it deserves!

 Bart,

Don't know if you remember, but earlier this week I went to the newspaper offices

I was photographed by surveillance cameras, and they put my raving photo on the front page
with a story: Insane Lunatic Democrat Raves in DPA Offices.

Now I'm a subversive anti-American communist in this den of Republican crap(*),
