In the dark of night last, the House Republicans granted some sort of
amnesty to illegal (mostly) Mexican immigrants. This story is not being
covered at all by any media I have seen. You haven't even mentioned it.

It was done by a secret vote, buried in a flurry of other bills late in the night.
They fixed it so there is no record of who voted which way. Today Rush's flagship
station briefly mentioned it. Being the number one right wing station in the country,
they took great pains to gloss over the story. The morning show touched on it so
briefly I missed the whole seqment. The midday show before Rush spent about
10 minutes taking calls from right wingers pissed off that Dubya was granting
amnesty to lawbreakers.

I called in and got the screener. I was on hold for about 20 minutes
before the show went off the air for the Horse Molester.

I wanted to point out that it was a secret vote and that the reason was
that Hispanics tend to vote for Republicans. I never got on the air but
one guy who did pointed out that Dubya was pandering to the Hispanic
vote and that he was rewarding people who have proven they have no
regard for our laws. I haven't heard anyone yet point out the secret
vote part of the deal. I suppose thats why I didn't get on the air.

I was out of range and didn't hear Fatboy so I don't know how he
covered the story. They don't seem to have a problem with covering the
story of the 9/11 terrorists getting visa's but they seem to be skipping
over the fact the Dubya is granting blanket amnesty on the same day to
thousands of illegal immigrants who vote Republican. I'd bet quite a few
of them are hauling drugs over the Mexican border every day.

I gotta go...this is starting to piss me off again. When I spend time
on hold waiting to talk to some radio moron, it's bad.
