 VCR Alert -
Not sure of the time, but tonight on Comedy Central,
the funniest woman in America - Wanda Sykes
Matter of fact, I don't know of any other funny women - are there any?

Top Headline in the USA TODAY Newspaper:

 Bush Scolds China

Yeah, I'll bet China quakes when President Weak and Stupid "scolds" them.

24 hours after apologizing like a kid who stole some candy, President W&S said
"The United States had no reason to apologize."

Well, hell, you idiotic moron - why'd you do it?

 From Yahoo

Bush held the crew blameless for the incident and said U.S. officials
would have some "tough questions'' for the Chinese when they meet
on Wednesday to discuss the incident and the return of the plane.

Gee, Smirky, are you going to be as "tough" on China as you were yesterday when you begged them
to please play fair, right after you apologized with all the dignity of a jonesing crack whore?

America secured the release of the crew only after the U.S. government changed its
official position from expressions of  "regret'' to the word  "sorry'' to "very sorry''
for the Chinese pilot's death and for the U.S. plane's landing in China without permission.

Oh, God, I need a drink - and a country I can be proud of.

Subject: Carville vs O'Reilly

Good morning BC!   I'm supposed to be spring cleaning but have to
have my daily read of BartCop and get this quick note to you...

My satellite dish is out of service so I had to go to a friend's home last night to watch Carville vs O'Reilly (again).
I only yelled WHORE! about 5 times.  I was proud of myself.  As I wrote to you about before, the original show
I saw was run by O'Reilly.  I knew there had been cuts but had no idea of how much until I watched the ENTIRE
'debate' from the Panetta Institute last night.

It made me even angrier when comparing this showing with the one that came from O'Reilly.
I can see why O'Reilly's people cut what they did.  What they cut was every segment that showed
O'Reilly to be the stupid, arrogant, dumb ass he really is.  Carville out-classed him every single step of the way.
O'Reilly would spew forth his typical right wing bullshit and Carville would answer with FACTS, INTELLIGENCE
and great humor.  To say O'Reilly's version was self-serving is an understatement.  But anyone watching HIS
version would think he's just oh! so clever.

Without getting into great detail, one of my favorite parts of the whole show was when O'Reilly ADMITTED,
on the air, that Smirk HAS NO MANDATE.

Duh!
No kidding!

Hope you were able to watch this.  While O'Reilly had hyped the show as mano a mano,
I agree with others that this wasn't a debate, but I think a great showing for Carville.
That man is sharp as a tack and his loyalty is impressive.  You know he really meant it
when he said Clinton was unequivocally the most talented man he has ever met.

That's right James.
Big Dog is still the best chess player around.

Happy Easter!
-April

P.S.  Since you are funded so heavily by the DNC, have them buy you two new computers!   ;)

ha ha

April, good note.
I taped it, but I haven't seen it yet.
I'll watch it tonight, right after Lone Gunmen.

 Excerpt:
If you haven't heard what happened to the P-3 on CNN, then let me at least remind everyone, or clue them in.
As you've heard, the plane was on autopilot, when that damn Chinese pilot got meters away from the P-3's 3rd engine
(that's the first propeller on the right side), nosed upward, causing the propellers to knock him over and bang into that
big radar dish on the bottom, severely damaging it; destroyed engine 3, sending debris and explosive force across
to engine 2, also destroying that engine, debris from that engine flew over to engine 1, doing some damage.

During the ensuing chaos and carnage, the EP-3 plummets 14,000 feet , from 21,000 feet, to 7,000 feet before
the pilots regain control, to make an incredibly miraculous landing on Hainan Island.

So what was all that GARBAGE about the supposed incompetance of the crew?

You know what else I'm getting tired of?

I can't turn on the Fascist AM station in K-Drag (KRMG.com) without hearing
Dennis Miller whoring for Roci copy machines.

It's not that I have anything against a guy making a buck, but these commercials
only run during Laura the Unlaid, Paul Harvey and the vulgar Pigboy show.

That tells me Miller has solidified his contract with the right-wing cock-hunters.

I'm so old, I remember when Dennis Miller was funny.

...and have you've seen his show lately?

It's pretty sad, and this isn't just my opinion.
Almost every show, he stops and comes out of character and scolds the sudience
for not laughing at his "fuck the left and suck the right" jokes.

I wish they had transcripts.
Maybe I'll mark the VCR when he does it tonight and put it on the page,
but every show, he has to stop and yell at the crowd for not laughing.

He never had to do that when his goal was comedy.
But with his new, well-paying job as Smirk's top cheerleader,
his audience and most of America doesn't think he's funny anymore.

Enjoy the money, Dennis.

The press treats Bush tenderly

Last week, I watched President Bush make a speech before a group of newspaper editors here.
Then I saw the press coverage. I'd have to say that the picture you're getting is missing some pieces.

For one thing, you're not seeing how unsure of himself George W. Bush appeared to be
-- how guarded, how tense, even programmed. Or how uncertain about important issues.

to a lifetime appointment on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in San Francisco.

The cock-hunter's new job would put him in a position to influence major court decisions for decades.
The 9th circuit is the nation’s largest and most influential federal appeals panel, weighing
legal matters in nine Western states.

It is unknown how Cox fits into Bush’s promise to appoint the most qualified candidates to high judicial positions.
Cox—a corporate securities lawyer before he went to Congress in 1989—has never worked as a judge.
He did, however, give legal advice during the 1980s to his buddy William E. Cooper, Orange
County’s most notorious convicted securities swindler of senior citizens.

Clinton on top of the elephant - again.

Vic the Racist explains President Weak & Stupid

"Bush just pretended to be a weak pansy so he could attack China the next time."

Well, I agree with half of that rope-a-DOPE strategery.

 Quotes

"Mr. Bush arrived in the White House just as the nation was plunging into
a stock market dive and the California utility crisis. Since he is a guy known
for setting priorities, nobody was surprised when he immediately honed in
on taxes and energy. Then we began noticing that while the country  needed to
quickly stimulate consumer spending, Mr. Bush was fixated on eliminating taxes
on the wealthy in 2011. The California crisis is mainly about natural gas,
and Mr. Bush keeps talking about drilling for oil in a wildlife preserve.
The president seems to be governing some other country."

Hey BC --

Apparently the Weekly Standard reads  bartcop.com.
This editorial is about 95% a summary of your rantings for the last week.

Time to sue them for plagiarism ... ?
Wouldn't _that_ just knot the freeperz in fits, to fund your
'high-speed, slick, professional website' from a right-wingnut whore-rag's deep pockets.

C'mon, Mrs. BartCop needs a new Jag, and it would buy an aweful lot of Chinaco .....   :)   :)   :)

Excerpt:
As the Chinese understand better than American leaders, President Bush has revealed weakness.
And he has revealed fear:  fear of the political, strategic, and economic consequences of meeting a Chinese challenge.
Having exposed this weakness and fear, the Chinese will try to exploit it again and again, most likely in a
future confrontation over Taiwan. The American capitulation will also embolden others around the world
who have watched this crisis carefully to see the new administration's mettle tested.

This defeat and humiliation, as another president once said, must not stand.

Funny, the right-wing agrees with me.
Meanwhile, the Democrats agree with Rush, Hannity and Fox News that Smirk did a good job.
