 Subject: Outrage?

 As a veteran, I am amazed that any veterans group would allow "awol" Bush or
 "I had other priorities" Chaney to speak in front of them.  I know these two have
 no shame, but where's the outrage?  I guess they need to get the people's patriotism
 in a lather to get them to send their youth to fight for the oil companies in the name
 of Imperial America. I was sickened by the article in today's papers about the
 Republicans going after Democrats in the congressional elections because they did
 not support the B-2 bomber or that crazy corporate welfare star wars scheme.

 Being for defense does not require that one needs to slavishly buy every weapon system
 they can dream up.  A billion dollars a day does not buy a strong defense.

 If it were not for last fall, this gang would have a public opinion rating to match their credibility.
 I despair that the impeachment trial is no where in sight.
