Dude, how are you doing?
I got your letter and donation yesterday.
That was nice - thanks.
Hey, what can I do for you?
Can I send you some books or some music or magazines?
I wish I could send you a steak or a pizza :)
Tell me about your situation. Are you safe?
I don't want to see you on TV :)
How much longer are you there?
Are you getting the radio shows OK?
Tell me what you need, Dude.
I'll try to make it happen.
Stay safe and come the fuck home ASAP.

bart,
Thanks a lot man. All you can do for me
is keep making the great shows.
Now that I have the MP3 player I can really
enjoy your stuff in a timely basis.
I have played your programs for other guys
over here and you blow them away.
To cut to the chase - yes KBR (Halliburton
subsidiary) is involved in alot of scams
over here. Every time I read in the news
about some new allegation I have to laugh
because it's always not only obviously
true to those of us over here, but there's plenty
of stuff ten times worse.
The danger for the civilian workers like
me is not as much as you'd think.
The ones I really feel sorry for are the
soldiers out on patrol in the cities and the Guard
members who've been here over a year without
so much as a days vacation or a visit
to their wife or kids.
Please believe me in saying that your programs
are extremely uplifting to me.
Also, I just bought a bootleg copy of 'Fahrenheit
9/11' and will be watching it several times.
You are one of a kind man,
(withheld)
I asked him if he'd be willing to write a weekly column about
life in Iraq.
Let's hope he says yes.
We're going to be there forever, so we might as well get a feel for life there.
