Several people wrote about yesterday's Gore-bin
Laden lies.
that the Republiocans are spreading to their extremely gullible
ditto-monkey forces.
I should've known to go to Snopes.com
to check it out first,
but I didn't bother because I knew from memory that it was Abu
Nidal,
not George Bush's best friend and political advisor Osama bin
laden.
But while I was at snopes checking it out, I ran into this:
Osama bin Laden's hatred of the U.S.
and conversion to "terrorist" status is
not believed to have come about until
the Gulf War of 1990-91, when he was
outspokenly critical of Saudi Arabian
dependence upon the U.S. military and
denounced U.S. support of a "corrupt,
materialist, and irreligious" Saudi monarchy.
So, if Poppy Bush hadn't bungled America into a war with Iraq,
the World
Trade Centers would still be standing and we'd still have a Bill
of Rights.
Like with everything the Bush Family Evil Empire does,
the cable Bush sent to April Glaspie
with instructions to talk to Saddam has never been made public.
It's a "big secret." Of course,
we've all seen it, because Saddam showed reporters his copy,
but like every serious crime the BFEE
has been in that cost American lives, they've never had to explain,
never been held accountable to the
families of the people who died from the money-grubbing Bush
shenanigans.
We lost a hundred or two in the Gulf War,
we had another 10,000 afflicted with Gulf War Syndrome,
and we lost thousands of lives in New York and the Pentagon,
but since Clinton's sex life wasn't involved - it wasn't investigated.
You see, if we investigate the BFEE, "the terrorists win," Bush tells us.
The Bush family always gets theirs and they always get
a pass
no matter how many innocent people die.

Bartcop:
Just received my three month supply of necessary
drugs to help me maintain
some sort of well being and at least be able
to "get around" I am a Veteran of WWll,
77 years old, with the drugs came a note that
the cost today for a three month supply
will be (and has been for years) $42.00 but the
future cost for the same drugs will be $147.00.
This means instead of paying $188.00 for a years
supply I will have to pay $588.00
Sure hope I don't need additional medication in
the future.
Some Vets are thinking about cutting down on
their dosage.
Looks to me like President "Not [sic] over my
dead body" and
"God Bless our Veterans and God Bless America"
has raised my taxes.
No name please, I am afraid they might cut me
off the drug program completely.
It is disgraceful that President Help-is-on-the-way is screwing
you guys.
He promised to help you guys, so he could steal your votes.
You went into combat to save America and now your medical costs
go up
just so Bush can give his billionaire oil buddies another
tax cut they don't need.
Creating a brand image
Christian says we need a brand image, like Enron had.
...without the Nazi overtones, of course.
We will send a pound of the South's (and world's) Finest Chocolate
to the artist who
creates the brand image that is chosen. It may be a "forever"
thing, so do youre best, OK?
I guess we're looking for something that simply says "bartcop.com,"
but there must be an exciting font or swoosh that can be applied.
We probably need a bigger version and a smaller version.
So, you art people want to give that a try?
Someday, you might be famous for that.

Falls for Lie About Clinton, Enron
by Smoking Joe Conason
Excerpt:
The first reporter to expose this outpouring
of deception was Gene Lyons, the Democrat-Gazette columnist
(and my co-author). Unfortunately, few
outside Little Rock had an opportunity to read his Feb. 13 column.
Salon.com, DailyHowler.com and Mediawhoresonline.com
all have posted excellent analyses since then.
Eventually, thanks to pressure from their
astute readers, the Chicago Tribune, The Washington Times and
Ms. Van Susteren issued corrections or
retractions. (Others, according to Nexis, have not.)
Go Joe!
And congrats to mediawhoresonline.com
for another national mention.
But Joe, you didn't mention your good friend Bartcop's web page?
Oh, wait... I see - you mentioned the sites with "excellent" analyses.
Mine is more unhinged screaming and vile cursing.
Now I understand...
Subject: Tax Advance
Here’s a link to the IRS website.
This proves all along what was said last summer…
It was an advance on your tax refund this year,
not free money.
If you aren’t getting any money back this year
then you are paying
that $300-$600 back this year. The IRS
even calls it an advance…
they must not have run this by Bush’s “Ministry
of Truth”.

Meanwhile, Enron, Exxon and other billion-dollar companies got REAL
money.
Some got a BILLION, some got mere hundreds of millions, and we got
screwed.

How the “felon” voter-purge was itself felonious
by Greg Palast
From: duckplops@yahoo.com
Subject: Flight 93
The plane was shot down. Numerous news reports
which stayed up for awhile told of
debris landing up to 8 miles away. Residents
collected it and handed it over to the cops.
I saved a load of news files, but you don't
want them as attachments.
>From Reuters on Yahoo Sept 13:
"Pennsylvania state police officials said on
Thursday debris from the plane had been found
up to 8 miles (13 km) away in a residential
community where local media have quoted residents
as speaking of a second plane in the area
and burning debris falling from the sky."
>From ABC sept 13:
"Pennsylvania State Police officials also announced
today that there is more crash debris about
6 miles from the site, near Indian Lake.
The FBI will begin examining that site as well."
>From a site called Disaster Relief Sept 14:
"Some small spot fires burned on all that remained
of the plane. It was total destruction.
Not in my wildest dreams would I have imagined
that a huge 757 jet could look like that
— there was no way to tell it had been
a plane. Tiny bits of debris scattered across the fields,
into the woods and were even found as far
as five miles away."
The Beamer myth is propaganda, useful to the fascists.

Since 9-11, I've heard rumors that Flight 93 was shot down.
Since Cheney went on Meet the Press that first Sunday to guarantee
that it didn't happen, I believed him.
Not because I'm a lackey of the Bush family, like some nuts suggest,
but because
one well-placed kid with a camcorder could bring down the entire Bush
Empire.
What we have here is a familiar problem:
The people with the resources to investigate either work for the illegal
administration
or they are afraid to cross them because they'd lose some precious
money.
It seems unlikely that the BFEE would risk the hundreds of billions
they're stealing
on the probability that nobody in western Pennsylvania had a camcorder
on that day.
You HAVE to look at it in those terms.
It's not the end-all of the argument, but how can you dismiss it?
Is there a difference between OPEC and the Bush Cartel?
The other day Smirk gave a speech where he said we needed to be
less reliant
on foreign oil so we couldn't be subject to foreign price-gouging.
But it's been a while since OPEC did any gounging.
A year ago Californians had to pay $1000 for a month of electricity
and it wasn't OPEC's fault.
It was Bush's good friend Kenny Boy at Enron doing
the gouging.
And Bush refused to do anything about it because he said "market forces were at work."
Hey, Smirk!
That wasn't any damn market forces gouging California - that
was pure Republican greed,
and you got a cut so don't try to deny it!!
That's what you bastards do when you have a monolopy on something - you gouge the helpless people to death.
What's the point of having an energy policy
if Smirk's BIG OIL partners can say,
"Gosh, we underestimated demand, or we had
a small fire at an Illinois refinery,
so the price of natural gas will have
to go up 500 percent, and the fact that our profits
are at all-time highs and shooting
thru the goddamn roof has nothing to do with anything,
and it's Clinton's fault for making
us clean up our giant pollution machines, anyway."
Yeah, it's Clinton's fault your profits are up 500 percent...
What good would it do us to gain independence
from foreign oil
if we still have to negotiate with the
Bush
Family Evil Empire cartel?
If we 're forced to pay $1000 worth of blackmail
for a month of heat,
does it really matter when you write the
check who's doing the gouging?
Between the Saudi's and the Bush Family
Evil Empire cartel, who has dealt with us more honestly?
Between the two, who gouges more?
With BIG OIL owning the White House, we have two cartels to negotiate with.

Helen Thomas - not afraid to fight back
MR. FLEISCHER: That's a summary of the President's day. Helen?
Q Ari, why would this administration choose
a man for couterterrorism who
is so associated with the dark side of
the Iran Contra scandal, Admiral Poindexter?
MR. FLEISCHER: When you say, choose him for counterterrorism, can you be more specific?
Q He's in the Pentagon, he's been appointed
head of DARPA, which is a
counterterrorist office, developing plans,
demonstrations with information.
MR. FLEISCHER: I'm not aware of any appointment.
Q Yet.
MR. FLEISCHER: Let me just say about Admiral
Poindexter, Admiral Poindexter is somebody
who this administration thinks is an outstanding
American and an outstanding citizen who has done
a very good job in what he has done for
our country, serving in the military.
Q How can you say that, when he told Colonel North to lie?
MR. FLEISCHER: Helen, I think your views
on Iran Contra are well-known,
but the President does believe that Admiral
Poindexter served --
Q It isn't my view, this is the prosecutor for the United States.
MR. FLEISCHER: I understand. The President thinks that Admiral Poindexter has served our nation very well.
Q Really?
MR. FLEISCHER: That's the President's thoughts.
Q Do you know his record?
MR. FLEISCHER: I'm sure you will inform me.
Q I don't have to, all you have to do is look it up.
At this point, another reporter selflessly
hurls himself
on the grenade and asks an unrelated question.
Go Helen!
