I cannot believe no one has challenged that
Iraqi oil revenue claim!
"We will get the money back Iraqi oil revenue"
the Republicans say as they ask for 87 billion more!!!
Please allow me to explain what huge scam
this is to the american taxpayer. Let's say the upper middle class
American family makes $100,000. Now
their taxes are #30,000 incorporating the latest voodoo economics tax cuts.
Before they paid $33,000 dollars!
Whoopee! Now of that taxes they paid, $10,000 dollars went to the
unnecessary war
and the defense contractors that out fitted
them. They destroyed Iraq. Now we must rebuild the Iraq infrastructure
we destroyed.
Give another $10,000 dollars to Haliburton
and other selected administration contractors who donated heavily to the
Bush Campaign!
Now they say we need to rebuild the Oil
delivery system so "We" can get revenue money from Oil. So we are
using our tax dollars
to help Exxon and Chevron build oil wells,
pipelines and oil tanking harbors. As taxpayers, why don't we ask -who
is the "we" when
this administration says "We" will get
the money back from Iraqi Oil revenues??"
Are all Americans going to get credit cards
from Exxon and Chevron with thousands of dollars of credit for gas we invested
in?
I don't think so.
What I suspect is that we've been taken
by the biggest money transfer scam since Enron's rape of Californians.
We are still going to pay $2.00 a gallon
for gas, our heating oil will be jacked up after labor day and the will
be getting oil for 5 dollars
a barrel instead of 20 dollars a barrel.
The way I see it. We got a $ 3,000 dollar tax cut, only amass huge debt
for our children.
We paid $10,000 dollars to the defense contractors,
$10,000 dollars to the Haliburtons, $10,000 to the oil companies, and another
extra $5,000 in energy costs! What
do we get back?? Nothing!!!! The opportunity to start a war
and loose all our goodwill
internationally, increase terrorism,
a chance to give tons of cash to defense contractors to destroy stuff,
then to Haliburton to
rebuild the Iraqi oil production machine,
and ultimately so we can get to buy expensive gas!!!!!!!
Looks a lot like all Bush's main contributors did pretty well!
And no one's talking about. Not one
congress person has asked, "what do you mean 'We will get the money back
Iraqi oil revenue?'
Not one congress person has suggested that
we get a guarantee that if we invest in this, we will get some oil revenue
savings pass
on to us - meaning joe taxpayer??
I think we are not asking because we are dumb, gullible, trusting of these master scammers.
Once we've figured it out, it will be too
late.
We'll have huge debt, increased terrorism
and a weak economy to pull us out of this.
Sadly,
