"Liberty is not America's gift to the world,
it is God's gift to each and every person."
--Dubya's "press conference," White House,
Mar. 6, 2003
But Governor, is freedom is God's gift, why did God take back
that gift from the citizens of Cuba,
North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and most of the women on
this giant blue ball?
Besides, that piece of horseshit
is one of Rush's "35 Undeniable Truths."
Can't the Governor write his own speeches instead of copying
the vulgar Pigboy?
Excerpt:
George Bush pulled out of a speech to the
European Parliament when
MEPs wouldn't guarantee a standing ovation.
Senior White House officials said the President
would only go to Strasbourg
to talk about Iraq if he had a stage-managed
welcome.
A source close to negotiations said last
night: "President Bush agreed to a speech
but insisted he get a standing ovation
like at the State of the Union address.
"His people also insisted there were no protests,
or heckling.
His entire life, Smirk has never done anything that wasn't
fixed before the start.
If you can't show him a certified script declaring him the winner,
he refuses to play and takes Daddy's oil derrick and goes home.
He's a fake and a fraud and by now the whole world knows it.
Quotes
"...please try to realize that when you see
news coverage [of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba] much of the time
you're not getting the whole story,
but an account filtered through a liberal mindset with an agenda...
It's a shame that we can't have an
unbiased media who would just report the truth and let us make up our own
minds..."
-- Charlie Daniels, An Open Letter To The Media, charliedaniels.com
Charlie, you are a stupid and racist bastard,
The only "news" we get from Gitmo is what
Bush and Cheney want us to know.
It's not like liberal reporters are crawling
all over Cuba interviewing Al Qaeda, then lying about it.
Like everything Bush has done in his life,
Gitmo information is fixed and impossible to verify,
but you say the liberal press is lying
about the scant info the B.F.E.E. hands them?
Charlie, do you still sing "It's 'Be kind to niggers week," on your tour bus?
Now I know why Bush vs Saddam sounds familiar.
It's Rodney King all over again.
Remember what the crazy LA cops were doing? While beating Rodney
(was it 87 blows to the head?) the cops were screaming at him
to,
"Put your arms down and stop resisting
arrest."
Now how the hell is Rodney going to put his arms at his sides
while these blood-thirsty cops
were beating him senseless with their night sticks? Those
night sticks, last I heard, are made
from the same stuff as billiard balls. Have you ever seen
a billiard ball break?
No, you haven't, because they are made from what's called a phenolic
resin,
and that substance is harder than Jimmy Swaggert in a Louisiana
whorehouse.
Similarly, Bush is telling Saddam, "We're
coming to kill you any day now,
so stop defending yourself and drop
your weapons because here we come."
It's clearly a strategy to provoke war, not to get Saddam to
disarm.
Where you're in a blood-crazed state of lust, like Bush is, you
never think to try the obvious.
Has anyone said, "Saddam, if we guarantee
not to invade, will you disarm?"
Isn't that what we did with Cuba 41 years ago? (It is)
But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Little Lord George wants to play with his new toys and he wants
that oil.
Bush keeps saying "War is my last option,"
but in truth, war is his only option because
the polls say he'll lose to any Democrat, so he's got
to fabricate a war and be a big man.
And nobody on the planet can stop him.
Quotes
"I think the most frightening thing is that
W is the leader of this nation and he clearly has a brain
that can hold four paragraphs and very
little else. Some have already argued the press conference
was scripted -- W's part of it clearly
was. That was a thoroughly unimpressive performance. W wasn't
even capable of effectively answering
the softball questions last night. Of course, we all have our bad days
but he's had two years to get better
at this -- and he clearly hasn't. I'm not sure I want any more of
these
press conferences. They remind me of
just how inarticulate and uninspiring W is as president. He's better
in delivering prepared remarks -- let's
just let him stick to the script, shall we?"

But even as intelligence agencies investigate
the extent of Bin Laden's links with terrorist outfits around the world,
the West is digesting quite a different
image of the young boy through a family photograph, taken in the Swedish
town of Falun in the summer of 1971.
The photograph, which appeared in several
British tabloids on Monday, accompanies media revelations that not only
was the young Bin Laden fairly Westernised
before he embraced Islamist radicalism, he also had a close family link
with American President George W. Bush.
How in the hell did this make the news?

Belief in

by Carla Binion, Online Journal Contributing Editor
Excerpt:
The Progressive quotes reporter Bob Woodward
as saying that Bush characterizes
his "mission" and that of the U. S. "in
the grand vision of God's master plan."
According to Woodward's book, BUSH AT WAR,
Bush often states he operates
mainly by gut instinct. He told Woodward,
"I'm
not a textbook player. I'm a gut player."
Comment: I think that means he can't read.

Give Bush credit, he got through an entire
softball tournament (aka/press conference)
without a single trip to the beer keg.
Bush looked as if the NRA had just ambushed him with an automatic tranquilizer gun.
A shot clock would have added about 15 questions to last night's tedious stall by Bush.
That event last night deserved to be called
a "press conference" about as much
as Bush deserves to be called "president."
Quotes
"How do you measure the benefit of freedom
in Iraq? I guess, if you're an Iraqi citizen you can measure it
by being able to express your mind
and vote. How do you measure the consequence of taking a dictator
out of -- out of power who has tried
to invade Kuwait?"
--Dubya's "press conference," White House, Mar. 6, 2003
Governor Stupid,
How do you measure freedom in America when our votes didn't get
counted because one
candidate's daddy ran the CIA and has friends on the whore court
who owe him favor?
How free are we to express our minds if Ari tell us to "Watch
what we say,"
and you and Ashcroft can legally execute anybody you want?
Lastly, Saddam didn't TRY to invade Kuwait - he DID invade Kuwait,
after your Daddy send him written permission in 1990.
George, you're an incompetent liar and a fraud. You were NOT elected
and you shouldn't be dragging
the Democratic majority into a war after the nation rejected
your candidacy by voting for Gore.

Subject: Bush chose the right date for his deadline to Saddam: St. Patrick's Day
March 17 is the perfect day for Bush to
announce that we're going to war, since many Americans
will be drunk anyway in celebration of
St. Patrick's Day. It will be a good idea to have had a few
stiff drinks before being told, in effect,
"Dear Sir: We are going to war with Iraq. Your son will be
sent to Baghdad, and don't be surprised
if he comes home in a bag, Dad." Maybe New York's
St. Patrick's Day parade should include
wheeling missiles down the street. "Are you scared yet,
Saddam Hussein? In a crime family, the
son often finishes a job left unfinished by the father."

Led
Zeppelin Live at Last on DVD and CD
Legendary Performances Due May 27th
Excerpt:
Atlantic Records has announced the forthcoming
release of the mother lode of Led Zeppelin live recordings.
Slated for a simultaneous May 27th release
are "LED ZEPPELIN DVD," a two-disc set, and "HOW THE
WEST WAS WON," a three-CD set. Long sought-after
by Zeppelin devotees and collectors, this marks the
first-ever official release of these rare
and legendary performances, which span the group's entire career.
There is good news and bad news.
The bad news is since I have one of the best live Zeppelin collections
anywhere, this probably is material
that we true collectors already possess. The good news is the
quality of the recordings should be better than
what's currently being traded.
Years ago, there was a "burglary" at Jimmy Page's house and several
dozen live concert tapes were "stolen."
I'm using quotes because the shows that were "stolen" and then
traded between collectors all seemed to be
sub-standard nights. I mean, what are the odds the band
only recorded the poor or mediorce concerts?
There are almost 200 concerts available to collectors, and the
dozens
of magic nights the band had were
captured by these audiuence recordings, so why were none of them
amongst the "stolen" tapes?"
But maybe we'll be fabulously surprised and a couple of magic
nights will be included.
In the last forty years, there have been many bands that, when
they were hot and in their prime, were the
"best live rock band in the world," but I believe nobody was
ever better than Zeppelin at their peak.
I guess we'll find out on May 27th.

On Saturday Night Live, there was a Robert
Smigel cartoon with the Heroic "Ex-Presidents." I didn't see
all of it -- I think it had something to
do with SpongePants Bob not getting on board with the Iraq War push.
At the end of the piece with the ex-prez's
gathered with Dumbya, Gerry Ford made a comment.
One of the other ex-president's said, "Don't
listen to him, he wasn't elected." George W. said,
"That's okay, I wasn't either." The audience
burst out laughing and clapped furiously!

UN launches inquiry into American spying
Excerpt:
Last week The Observer published details
of a memo sent by Frank Koza, Defence Chief of Staff (Regional
Targets) at the US National Security Agency,
which monitors international communications. The memo ordered an
intelligence 'surge' directed against Angola,
Cameroon, Chile, Bulgaria and Guinea with 'extra focus on
Pakistan UN matters'. The 'dirty tricks'
operation was designed to win votes in favour of intervention in Iraq.
This is a pointless exercise.
What if they find proof Bush is blackmailing countries to support
his illegal oil war?
What will they do then - issue a "Declaration of Disappointment?"
Are they going to assemble a coalition to invade America and
bring Bush to justice?
Bush is untouchable by anybody except perhaps senior Republicans banding together.
'Sopranos'
Boss Sues HBO to Whack Pact
What failed-writer moron wrote that headline?
Excerpt:
James Gandolfini is trying to put a hit
out on his employment contract with HBO.
Gandolfini, who plays Tony Soprano on HBO's
"The Sopranos" filed suit Thursday
seeking declaratory relief that would free
him from being obliged to return for the
next season of HBO's mob drama, its fifth.
This is sad.
Gandolf gets $400,000 per show and he wants more - a lot more.
99 percent of actors would kill to have his job (pun intended)
and when
James gets to the top of the mountain he's angry and wants more?
He's making $10M for two seasons, producer David Chase is being
paid (they say)
$20M for a fifth season, so how much of that pie does Gandolf
have to have?
If I ever make $400K a week and then whine about it,
can I depend on you to slap the jumping bejezes out of me?

Mr. Sorenson:
I am shocked that a supposedly professional
organization like MSNBC would hire hate-monger Michael Savage as on-air
"talent".
As you are probably aware of the thrust
and content of his "message" I will not go into it at length here. As an
example, he is widely
known for his views on blacks, calling
black children "ghetto slime" and generally carrying on as if he were a
white supremist. If you
think that your audience finds that sort
of rot even mildly amusing, then you are either mistaken or your audience
has a screw loose.
Genuine conservatives eshew rabble-rousing
trash like Savage, and I for one, will avoid MSNBC like the political whore
that it has
become, feeding a violent, extreme neo-right
wing populace that is starved for empowerment. You have successfully
lowered
MSNBC into the gutters of journalism.

Crazier than Rush, racist Savage in bed with MSNBC

“Michael Savage is brash, passionate and smart,”
said Sorenson. “His conservative point of view adds
to the kaleidoscope of perspectives already

have their say, without any one dominating
the channel itself. ‘The Savage Nation’ will anchor our

Subject: Media Bias
I guess you don't consider the 3 major networks-CBS, NBC, ABC, "Liberal".
Your damn right I don't.
They haven't done ONE investigative story
on Bush in 3 and a half years.
When you look at the numbers, the media
has written over 10,000 stories on Bill and Hillary
for "crimes" that Ken Starr had to admit
never happened, but Bush has hidden his files and Reagan's
files to hide serious crimes of a global
nature and the networks look away to protect him.
When you look at their nightly news programs,
they are blatantly anti-2nd amendment rights,
pro-abortion, pro big Government, pro-palestinian,
anti-tax cuts, etc. etc.
That's not true.
You can't show me one instance where a major network pulls a
"Rush" or a "Savage"
on any right-of-center issue or personality. I'm calling on you
to prove that wild assertion.
Their share of the viewers is constantly
shrinking because they are SO liberal!
Paquet56
I hear you talking, but saying it doesn't make it so.
Sure, to the people to the right of FOX News see the networks
as "way too liberal,"
but the facts don't support your radical theory. Prove it - show
me.
Besides, ten years ago there was only a handful of networks, so
yeah, the big three
now have to share TV bandwidth with 500 other channeks, doesn't
that make sense?
Plus, just this week, they fired Donahue to make room for Savage.
You see that as more proof that they're all leftists?
Subject: Savage Shameful
To whom it may concern at MSNBC:
I have just watched the show The
Savage Nation for the first and last time. The man on this show,
for an entire hour spoke right wing code
talk for 'there's too many foreigners in the country', 'liberals
are against America' and 'dissent is harmful
to the country and should be put down'. Hanging up on
a caller because they mentioned his history
of calling third world countries "turd world countries"
was pathetically craven. It also
seems a bit fishy that so many longtime listeners got through,
I dialed the phone number at least 40 times
for the first half hour and never got through.
In truth, it is Michael Savage's statements
that approach treason, his vile words are traitorous to the
spirit of American freedom. Any credibility
that MSNBC retained in my mind is gone now and it joins
FoxNews as a racist, right-wing media arm
of an administration that ignores the concerns of it's populace
and considers dissent criminal.
Sincerely,
Nathan W.

the fact that our state's appellate system is essentially non-functioning.
We do not, as a rule, kill poor handicapped

Last Resort?
It's amazing that Bush still calls war with
Iraq a "last resort" while at the same time he's in a mad rush
to get this war started. Iraq poses no
immediate threat. The weapons inspectors have found nothing.
Bush isn't being honest and considering

I have some bad news for you younger kids.
Have you ever heard of the Smothers Brothers?
Sure you have, but do you know what single event put them in the
political history booksl?
I forget the year, 1968, 1969, maybe, they had the Number One
show in all of television.
Number One, just like C.S.I. is now, and CBS
cancelled them at Nixon's request.
That's right - the Smothers were protesting the Vietnam war each
week, and CBS cancelled the Number
One show as a sign of solidarity because, I guess, CBS wanted
more names on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
Since then, the outrageous incest between a Republican White
House and the media has intensified.
If they'd cancel Number One to please the White House, do you
think the company that just hired Michael Savage
won't bend over backwards to impress the idiot who stole Gore's
rightfully-elected home?
Goodbye, West Wing. You and The Sopranos
have ruled quality TV for 3-4 years, but America
