Ever since I heard about Dubya's mad dash around the country, it has
bothered me for some reason.
The spin that came out the next day made me wonder even more.
As other writers have said, why lie about it?
To what purpose? What is more, why risk looking like a fool?
All the planes were on the ground, and Air Force One is the most protected
plane in the world.
By the time W reached Nebraska, the threat was over.
Or was it?
Why did he flee Barksdale AFB as soon as it was announced in the media
that he was there?
Why did W&S dive down the rabbit hole _after_ all planes were accounted
for?
Why, for that matter, flee into a place designed to withstand a nuclear
strike?
Think about that. He fled to a place designed to withstand a nuclear strike.
Is it possible that the president had reliable information that a nuclear
attack of some sort was likely?
Information so reliable that he risked the political fallout he knew
must take place
if he didn't return immediately to Washington?
We've been painting him as a man jumping at shadows, but he is the president,
after all,
and we all have to admit that it took some pretty sofisticated organization
to get this man
installed at the White House. They aren't idiots up there.
What if there really was a bomb? Sound like a conspiracy theory? Let me elaborate.
On the morning of the attacks, there were widely-circulated reports
that a car bomb had been found
in front of the State department. I read on Salon that some people
even reported hearing an explosion.
But the reports were discounted because, obviously, a car hadn't exploded,
there wasn't any damage or smoke.
Well, unless I am much mistaken, a simple nuclear detonator uses a small,
traditional explosive to start
the explosive chain reaction of the plutonium, or whatever. However,
this explosion is contained,
forced inward, therefore if it exploded, but failed to detonate the
nuclear material, there would still be
a loud bang, just not a mushroom cloud and nuclear holocaust immediately
afterwards. Also, that explosion
would produce no external signs of its detonation. It wouldn't blow
anything up. There'd just be a loud bang.
Otherwise there wouldn't be sufficient internal force to start the
nuclear reaction.
So what if there really were a nuke in that car on Sept 11, and what
if it really did go off, but because of
poor construction, or because it was same ancient Russian device with
corroded wires, or because it's
plutonium wasn't correctly prepared because it was done by a group
of terrorists rather than nuclear scientists?
And what if W&S knew that a small nuclear bomb had failed to go
off that morning?
Wouldn't that be a more credible reason for his hiding away?
You don't need to catch AF1 if you have one of those.
You just need to get near it.
And if this is true, do you think anyone would ever be allowed to report it?
Oh, no. I don't think so.
