We know what the news is with Bush now, but some may not recall what it was with Clinton eight years ago:

Attorney general search. Two nominees withdrew. Senate confirmed Janet Reno.

Yes, and do you remember why?
The Clinton nominees were held to a new, higher standard than the Reagan/Bush nominees.
Suddenly, it was extremely important that every maid, gardener, chauffeur, pool boy and
neighborhood handiman had his Social Security taxes withheld and filed with the IRS.

Nobody EVER asked any member of the Reagan or Bush administrations this question,
so this horseshit was FABRICATED to make Clinton look bad and, I think, add to the cover
of why Bush had to throw the election to guarantee the pardons of Reagan's Iran-Contra felons.

The non-payment of taxes wasn't fabricated, that was (possibly) true.
What was fabricated was the reason this should have been a story in the first place.
Then outrage was fabricated for thr press as Republicans lined up, two-by-two, to profess their
outrage that the top cop in the nation would have "such an utter disregard for the laws of this nation,"
when there wasn't a single goddamn Republican paying taxes on their hired help.

Are you trying to tell me that when little Timmy from next door was paid $50 a week
to keep John Sununu's driveway clear of snow, Sununu was filling out IRS forms and paying taxes?

GREAT example of the horseshit claim that the media is biased towards liberals.

Now - turn that around.

We currently have an APPOINTED Boy King who has never had to answer the question,
"How many times have you been arrested - and for what crimes?"

So, we have "A," which is the press all over newly ELECTED Clinton's choices for AG, for the
singular purpose of tarring the new president so he couldn't build up any momentum or traction,

...and we have "B," where the appointed FRAUD is getting away with an unknown number of crimes
because the press is too meek to ask how many times he's had to plead guilty to something.
And don't forget - he was only charged with crimes (three minimum) that his rich Daddy
wasn't able to buy his way out of before they got to the courthouse steps.

Summary 1. Tell me, which is more outrageous? Not paying taxes on the babysitter or
                     the whore press helping to cover up Bush's "don't ask me" multiple felonies?
 

New abortion policy. Clinton reversed federal abortion rules that barred counseling
by clinics receiving federal aid; ended ban on fetal tissue research.

This is true.
Clinton REVERSED rules that BANNED COUNSELING by clinics.
Koresh forbid a woman understands what her options are.
Clinton stands accused of allowing women an education.
Isn't that what Bush accuses the Taliban of?   Denying a woman an education?
How does today's GOP differ from the Taliban?

Yes, and he ENDED the BAN on fetal tissue RESEARCH.
Again, the GOP proves how anti-education they are.
Had the backwards-thinking Cro-Mags followed science and logic instead of trying so hard to appease the
invisible ghosts, Ronald Reagan might have given Smirk his personal endorsement at NaziCon 2000.

Summary 2. Why is the GOP so relentlessly anti-education?
                     And how, exactly, do they differ from the Taliban on women's rights?
 

Homosexuals in the military. Clinton tried unsuccessfully to relax "don't ask, don't tell."

On it's face, it's too ridiculous to answer  - but I'll try.

A. There were gays in the military when Abe Lincoln was in eighth grade.
     The FACT that Clinton tried to face facts and judge men not on their sexual orientation,
     but on the content of their character was one of his bravest and boldest moves in office.
     The FACT that he was willing to make civil rights an issue early in his presidency is one
     reason that I continue to go into battle for Bill Clinton. Long before I knew who Clinton was,
     civil rights for blacks and gays has been a cornerstone of bartcopism.

B. The alternative to honesty is dishonesty.
     Since gays were in the military when Lincoln was a kid, you can hardly blame Clinton for "the gay problem."
     Jesus Christ, (hope I didn't use a term unfamiliar to you) gays exist and they're Americans just like us
     and you'd have to be some kind of uneducated, religious fundamentalist to think telling the gays to
     "knock it off," is going to solve anything.
 

Family leave bill. Congress requires companies to grant 12 weeks of unpaid leave.

Excuse me, I thought you were listing bad things Clinton did...
 

Economic package. Congress passed massive retroactive tax hike.
Clinton raised federal gasoline tax by 4.3 cents.

Clinton raised taxes by 6 percent on the richest 1 percent of Americans.
Why are YOU complaining?
Because you feel guilty you're not paying your fair share?
Maybe you have something there - why should Gates and Limbaugh have it so tough?
You're outraged that Gates got a one percent pinch that helped balance Reagan's red-ink.
 

White House woes. Clinton's 36 percent approval rating worsened after travel office firings
and attempted takeover by his distant cousin.

Unlike the never-ending honeymoon granted to President Weak & Stupid, Clinton was constantly
bombarded from day one by everybody, from every angle, about every scandal Richard Mellon Scaife
had the pleasure to finance.  He produced Paula Jones and the whore press ate with their biggest spoon.
Yes, it was an ugly time, so why did your side keep at it?
 

Triumph on NAFTA. Clinton favored, but Democrats generally opposed free trade zones
that later passed with Republican help.

You're accusing Clinton of working with terrorist-collaberating Republicans?

Foreign policy. Clinton failed to get European support for intervention in former Yugoslavia.

Yugoslavia was a no-American dead war.
Which part of "No Americans dead" do you disagree with?

This is true.
You should be angry with the man (Bush) who sent our boys over there without proper protection.
After losing the election, Bush wanted his failed presidency to have a humanitarian ending, so he decided
to finally help the starving masses in Somalia, so he sent troops to over there, then pardoned Reagan's
Cabinet, then whistled out the door while the American whore press dug into GenniferFlowers-gate,
because that was really, really IMPORTANT to Scaife and the whore press.
 

Health care. Clinton's health care plan failed under Hillary Clinton's leadership.

Semi-true.
The Democrats laid down and bent over when the GOP screamed "Socialized medicine."
Instead of having all Americans insured with guaranteed health care, they big boys find it more profitable
to sell you $30 aspirins, thousand dollar wrist casts and charge you $60,000 for the birth of a baby.

The Clinton's tried to fix that.

But the GOP barked and the Democrats wet their pants in fear and abandoned health care for the poor,
giving the Republicans a great victory and causing the Democrats the House and the Senate.
Yes, the Democrats let their constituents down when they abondoned health care for the poor.
They should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes, Clinton inherited a sluggish economy. That's why he won the election.

They put their faith in a man who promised "to focus on the economy like a laser beam."
