Marriage loses its significance. People

But Rick - why?
Why would straight stop getting married? Because gays can, too?
Will they stop eating in restaurants because gays can, too?
Will they stop buying Coke and Pepsi because gays can, too?
Excerpt:
Governor Bush (R-Unelected)'s budget would
produce deficits totaling $2.75 trillion
over the next decade, the CBO projected
Friday in the first authoritative look at the
tax-cuts-for-the-super-rich plan's longer-range
implications.
The forecast - $737 billion worse than the
budget office expects should Congress
ignore Bush's tax and spending plans -
is sure to factor into this year's presidential
and congressional campaigns.
.
$737 billion - think of the health care and education and safety
we could get for that.
But the idiot Bush has stolen or thrown that money away and what
do we have for it?
Please God, if we human sacrificed Janet Jackson - would that
help?
Tell us how to make this horrible Bush Monster stop eating money
and sound foreign policy.
Please, God - we get the message.
Whatever we did that made you send us Bush, we're damn sorry
and we won't do it again.
But, ...with all humility, ... you're going to have to tell us
what we did because I have the IQ
of Bush on his best day and I can't find the crime, myself, unless
it's Janet Jackson.
That's why I offered her to you up front, Lord.
God, I don't know how much more of this Bush Disaster we can take.
Excerpt:
Around 200 U.S. Army veterans and Vietnamese
people demonstrated outside John Kerry's
New York headquarters on Saturday to protest
his opposition decades ago to the Vietnam War.
Waving American and South Vietnamese flags
and singing the U.S. national anthem,
they held up signs saying "Hanoi John,"
and "Kerry Betrayed Vietnam Vets."
"John Kerry served his country honorably," said
Mark Kornblau, New York spokesman for Kerry's campaign.
"This protest is being organized by an individual
who has made a career of profiting from tragedy."
Hmmmm, that sounds like something Rush would
do, but then again
nobody has ever profited more on tragedy
than the monsters who control the BFEE.
They have to win this next election.
They can't leave this election in
the hands of the voters.
There are trillions yet to be stolen,
and oil countries to yet to invade.
So far, almost half the public likes watching the BFEE empty America of wealth and civil liberties.
Aristide
Flees Haiti; Judge Claims Power
Finally - someone has the sense to flee before getting killed
Excerpt:
Haiti's beleaguered President Jean-Bertrand
Aristide resigned and flew into exile Sunday.
Gunfire crackled throughout the capital
as it fell into chaos, and the United States said
international peacekeepers - including
Americans - would be deployed soon.
There were conflicting reports on where
Aristide was headed. A U.S. official, speaking on
condition of anonymity, said South Africa
was the country most often mentioned. Colin Powell
conferred on Saturday with South African
President Thabo Mbeki about the situation.
Three hours after Aristide's departure,
Supreme Court Justice Boniface Alexandre declared
at a news conference that he was taking
over as called for by the constitution. He urged calm.
This mess has "American dead" written all over it.
No doubt Bush will add some notches to his belt.

Mike Malloy's last show
When you have some time, go to http://www.whiterosesociety.org
and listen to Mike's last show.
It's two hours of a class act saying goodbye
to one format, while knowing another door will soon open.
I don't know if it was Mike or Kathy's idea, but that Pink Floyd towards the end of his last show did it for me.
On the turning away
From the pale and downtrodden
And the words they say
Which we won't understand
"Don't accept that what's happening
Is just a case of others' suffering
Or you'll find that you're joining in
The turning away"
It's a sin that somehow
Light is changing to shadow
And casting it's shroud
Over all we have known
Unaware how the ranks have grown
Driven on by a heart of stone
We could find that we're all alone
In the dream of the proud
I'm not much of a lyrics guy, but the song Mike or Kathy chose was perfect, wasn't it?
No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
George W Bush would kick the weak and the weary in the teeth and tell the press, "Watch this drive!"
I regret I didn't spend more time listening to Mike's show.
Life needs a TIVO machine so you can catch what you missed.
As a professional comedian ( This'll be the first year
I put that on my tax return ) I love it when Mike
can't think of someone's name. He tries to think of the name
for a little bit, ...but if he comes up short,
...he cackles this best-ever laugh and says "Whatever
that guy's name is... I'll think of it tomorrow..."
With my brain, I often can't think of some guy's name,
but I have the luxury of hitting the pause button,
but Mike's a whole lot braver than Ol' Bart - he works live,
on the air, without a net.
A shot of Chinaco Anejo to the great Mike Malloy.
..
Fighting back is a lot of fun but it's also very taxing.
This shot's for Mike coming to work, day after day, day
after day, and warning his audience
that the Unlected Fraud was about to screw up the Iraq war almost
as bad as he screwed
America's super-prosperous, Clinton economy that taxed the super-rich,
not
the super-poor.

This is not, as you may have read, a popcorn
movie. In Latin and Aramaic with English subtitles,
it's two gory hours of Jesus getting flayed
by brutish Romans at the behest of heartless Jews.
Perhaps fittingly for a production that
licensed a jeweler to sell $12.99 nail necklaces (what's next?
crown-of-thorns prom tiaras?), "The Passion"
has the cartoonish violence of a Sergio Leone Western.
You might even call it a spaghetti crucifixion,
"A Fistful of Nails."
NY Times Deletes anti-GOP reference to WTC Ceremony
First, the NYTimes wrote:
Rebuilding officials said yesterday that
they hoped to complete a review of the environmental impact
of the proposed construction at the World
Trade Center site by next April. This would allow them to
lay the cornerstone of a 1,776-foot tower
in August 2004, during the Republican National Convention.
Later in the day, (After a call from an angry Mr Rove?) this first paragraph changed. It now reads:
Rebuilding officials said yesterday that
they hoped to complete a review of the environmental impact
of the proposed construction at the World
Trade Center site by next April. This would allow them to
start construction by the summer of 2004.
Because 9-11 happened when Bush was asleep, he gets credit
for the situation?
How can you give the (at best) sleeping and unconcerned-with-terrorism
president credit for that day?
It drives me crazy to hear Republicans say, "I
like what Bush is doing with the economy
and I like the way he's handling the
war against terrorism. It's a good thin Gore wasn't
elected because he would've screwed
things up and then we'd really be in trouble."
In reality, Bush has screwed the economy to it's worst point in
my lifetime, and he's gotten
550 men soldiers killed by attacking the wrong damn country in
the search for bin Laden.
What's to like about the bungling fool's inept performance?
Subject: Geronimo's skull
It is a well-known rumour about Geronimo's
skull being stolen by Prescott Bush and kept at the Skull and Bones building.
I would LOVE to see the American Indians
pursue that.
They don't like graves or artifacts disturbed
so I'd really think they'd be all over this one.
Plus, there could possibly be some "historic
artifact" law being broken by the non-return of the skull.

This is the Moment
Excerpt:
We are about to experience peak oil, the
most oil the world will ever produce, after which
it will fall into rapid decline. Every
aspect of industrial civilization is built upon oil. Not just the
gas for our cars but the petrochemicals
that go into virtually every good that that is produced
and most importantly into synthetic
fertilizers and pesticides of mechanized agricultural
production. Unless we undertake an Apollo
project for renewable energy right now, resource
wars will continue to proliferate, billions
will starve to death and industrial civilization will collapse.

Subject: Geronimo's skull
The story of the theft of Geronimo's skull
by Prescott Bush is told in the book Secrets of the Tomb,
by Yale graduate Alexandra Robbins. Go
here for an excerpt: http://www.secretsofthetomb.com/excerpt.asp
The skull was stolen from Geronimo's grave
at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma,
and taken back to the Bonesmen's "tomb"
as a "tribute" to their "goddess" Eulogia.
Golds
Like Bunnypants did with Iraq's oil, Prescott
saw something he wanted and f-ing stole it.
I think they should be shamed into returning
that skull to Oklahoma.
Too bad we're not big enough (yet) to do that.

U.S.
Hunt for Bin Laden gathers steam
It's campaign season, so Bush begins the hunt...
Excerpt:
The United States is rounding up and questioning
the relatives of fugitive al-Qaida leaders
to generate information on the possible
whereabouts of Osama bin Laden and his top deputies.
This tactic helped lead to Saddam's capture.
On Saturday, Pentagon and Pakistani officials
denied an Iranian state radio report that bin Laden
had been captured "a long time ago" in
Pakistan's border region with Afghanistan .
If Kerry was smart, he'd start defending
against Bush's "October Surprise 2004." He should announce
right now, that it will be "very suspicious"
if The Pinhead manages to come up with bin Laden captured
between now and the election. If
Kerry takes this action, he'll have a legitimate argument when Bush's
old friend Osama is suddenly captured,
helping Bush as much as he helped him on 9-11-01.
That way, if Osama shows up, Kerry can say,
"I
predicted in February that Bush and Karl Rove
might manipulate the hearts of the voters
with this cynical and outrageous manuever and every
American should be disgusted at the
tactics employed by this never-elected president."
Is Kerry smart enough to play defense on this before Bush makes his move?
Subject: Bush, Geronimo and JFK
Bart this is where the Geronimo skull story
came from. Its in chapter 7 near the end.
The whole book is online and it has some
great stuff about Bush 1 and his father.
The Nazi stuff, and a great thing about
Bush 1 calling Dallas Police about the JFK assassination in chapter 8b.

A
reporter actually doing his job?
Damn, I wish I had witnessed this - it's so rare
Question: In every speech he gives,
President Bush invokes the atrocities of 9/11 and he talks about how
that event has impressed on him a determination
to always honor the victims of those atrocities in his daily
conduct of his office. And I wonder if
you could explain with some serious Texan straight talk here, Scott,
how it is honoring the victims of 9/11
to restrict the questioning of the President on this subject to one hour?
Scott McClellan: I hope you'll talk
about the unprecedented cooperation that we're providing to the commission
when you report this, James. Because if
you look back at what we've done, it is unprecedented. We have provided
more than 2 million pages of documents.
We provided more than 60 compact discs of radar, flight and other
information; more than 800 audio cassette
tapes of interviews and other materials; more than 100 briefings,
including at the head-of-agency level;
more than 560 interviews. So this administration is cooperating closely
and
in an unprecedented way with the 9/11 Commission,
because their work is very important.
Question: That would have been
a very pertinent answer had I asked you about the administration. But,
in fact,
I asked you about the President's cooperation.

Did Anna Kournikova break Penthouse?
The way I remember it, Penthouse printed these pictures of some stripper,
..
Then bragged that they "caught" her and printed topless pictyres
of that woman.
I can't imagine any court in America not slapping Penthouse into
next week.
I found this quote,
"All I can tell you is that right now Penthouse
is confident that these pictures are genuine,"
Penthouse spokesman Michael Moi told CNN.
"My understanding is that the photographer
came to Penthouse with these pictures."
He sure did - they just weren't of Anna K.

The liberals are up to their usual games
again, trotting out their phony "war heroes" -- like
Max Cleland, Wesley Clark, and John Kerry

Let me remind the denizens of Beacon Hill,
Capitol Hill, and the Hollywood Hills who seek
to suffocate us in their sanctimonious
self-serving samples of sacrifice:
Real patriots don't have to prove their
patriotism by bragging about their "medals."
Guest Editorial on the Patriot Act
Excerpt:
USATODAY published a Gallup Poll on their
website asking the following question:
"One provision in the Patriot Act allows federal
agents to secretly search a U.S. citizen's home
without informing the person of that search
for an unspecified period of time. Do you approve
or disapprove of this provision?"
Well folks the results were pretty interesting, as 71% of the
respondents were disapproving of that measure,
which coincidently does not have a sunset clause.
Subject: Question on gay marriage
Hey Bart
If a hetero couple marries, and 10 years
later hubby tells wife he's really a woman
on the inside and not gay. He gets the
sex change operation and they stay together
(about 10% of couples in this situation
do stay together) would Bushes' amendment
nullify their marriage? What happens under
current law?
Disasterman
"Current law" is whatever John Ashcroft (R-insane)
says it is, and I'm sure he could
fabricate some reasons why that union would
be an "abomination" in God's eyes and
the Democrats would remain silent while
Ashcroft gleefully destroys more families.

Are No Half-Time Shows in War
by Walter Brasch
Excerpt:
On the day that Justin Timberlake ripped
open Janet Jackson's blouse during the half-time of the Super Bowl
to reveal a bejeweled breast and create
a national firestorm of protest, American Soldiers 523 and 524 died in
Iraq.
Along with the two American soldiers, 14
were wounded. Also that day, two suicide bombers killed more than 100
Kurds and wounded more than 200.
On TV network news and in fictionalized
prime-time series, we see violence and body parts on the street. On the
afternoon soaps, we have seen every violation
of the Ten Commandments, and a few violations that not even the
residents of Sodom and Gomorrah knew about.
But, this didn't draw the ire of the sanctimonious "family values"
administration. A bare breast did.

Strategists, independent analysts and House
members of both parties say that after a decade out of power,
Democrats are unlikely to reclaim control

Many Democrats now concede that their immediate

so they have a better chance of recapturing
the House in 2006.
"Do I think we are going to take it back? No,"
said Representative Rahm Emanuel, Democrat of Illinois.
"But I think we are setting it up not to slide
backward, but to move forward."
Democrats said they were heartened that
President Bush had found himself on the defensive recently,
and predicted that the record deficit compiled
under Republican control could play to their benefit.
But Democrats and others cited significant
factors working against them, including recruiting failures,
fund-raising difficulties and redistricting.
Hey Democrats, maybe your fundraising would do better if you stopped
kissing Bush's ass - ya think?
Maybe you'd have fewer recruiting failures if you demonstrated
that you still had some fight in you.

political dynasty. His "trophy" is the skull of Geronimo, the Native
American spiritual and military leader
laid to rest in 1909 at Fort Still, Oklahoma, where Bush and fellow
