 I finally had a chance to see this Canadian Broadcast Company report.
 Perkel is right - this is Nazi level stuff

 If the CBC is telling the truth (why would they lie?) the Northern Alliance army guaranteed
 the safety of the Taliban prisoners if they surrendered. Once they did, they were packed in
 semi-trailer truck up to 200 at a time and the doors were closed in the hot Afghan sun.

 When the prisoners cried out that they couldn't breath, shots were fired into the trailer walls "to create air holes."
 Blood ran out of the truck from those hit by gunfire - all the time the Americans stood there watching.
 It's my understanding 4,000 men died this way, after being given a guarantee the UN would take them.

 The narrator said a quick death would have been much better than what they got.

 Our foreign policy is being run by the Iran-Contra gang - the gang who received pardons from
 the head crook so the world would never know the nature of their global murders and other crimes.

 I realize that a fancypants elitist like yourself has never actually gotten any closer to a nail gun

 but the story sounds plausible.

 If he fell on top of the other guy who was holding the gun, I can see the guy holding the trigger down

 If my good friend Ted Rall knows for a fact that Tillman was a bigoted, blood-thirsty
 bastard who was looking forward to "killing some Arabs," then this might be legit.

 Without knowing that for a fact, this cartoon is an outrage and I'd like to hear Ted
 defend himself because on the surface, this reminds me of Rush's "White House dog" joke.

 Ted says, "Tillman falsely believed Bush's wars had something to do with 9-11."
 He's saying Tillman was fooled, so why beat up on the dead guy?

 Tillman gave up stardom, a cushy lifestyle and multi-millions of dollars to help his country
 and Rall thinks that sacrifice should be peed on?

 Was Audie Murphy a bad guy?
 Was Bob Dole a fool to help his country in WWII?

 Ted reminds me of Maureen Dowd and Christopher Hitchens (not a compliment).
 He hates Clinton, and he hates Bush, so who does he like?

 I don't believe he's now getting an 80 percent positive response to that comic.

 The monkey can't think.
 He dislikes "intellectuals" and "elites" who became doctors in their scientific fields.
 He refuses to listen to the experts because, like Reagan, he makes up his mind first
 and then disregards all advice from smarter people which, in his case, is everybody.

 He also considers it "disloyal" if you're right and he's wrong.

 US soldiers abused young girl at Iraqi prison?

 He said: "They brought a 12-year-old girl into our cellblock late at night. Her brother was a prisoner in the other cells.

"She was naked and screaming and calling out to him as they beat her. Her brother was helpless and could only hear her cries.
 This affected all of us because she was just a child.

 The allegations cannot be verified independently but Mr al-Baz maintains psychological and physical violence were commonplace in the jail.
 He also claims that a father and his 15-year-old son were tortured in front of his cell.
 He said: "They made the son carry two jerry cans full of water. An American soldier had a stick and when he stopped, he would beat him.

"He collapsed so they stripped him and poured cold water over him. They brought a man who was wearing a hood.
 They pulled it off. The son was shocked to see it was his father and collapsed.

"When he recovered, he now saw his father dressed in women's underwear and the Americans laughing at him.

 Mr al-Baz claims the guards at the prison were keen to take photographs of the abuse and turned it into a competition.

 Bush in panic to curb torture scandal

 over abuse of Iraqi prisoners. But as he condemned it as "abhorrent" and not a reflection of

 in ice and Cellophane in an apparent bid to disguise the brutality.

 At least 14 deaths of US captives in Afghanistan and Iraq are now put down to American ill-treatment
 or are under investigation. Ten possible cases of abuse are being probed. Yesterday - heightening
 Mr Bush's discomfort - US military investigators revealed a full rundown of the abuse at Abu Ghraib,
 from where pictures of sexual humiliation shocked the world when shown on CBS last week. The dossier
 detailed more than 20 kinds of offence, including the pouring of chemicals on detainees, use of dogs to
 intimidate captives, acts of sexual assault and violent beatings."
 

 I heard the vulgar Pigboy whining yesterday that this was "being propelled by the media."
 Bush has been on a five year honeymoon and the press have refused to do their damn jobs.

 To this day, nobody knows how many times Bush has been arrested or convicted
 because the White House refuses to answer and the press is afraid to press the issue.
