"If you look back on the 60's and think there
was more good than harm, then you're probably a Democrat.
If you think there was more harm than
good, you're probably a Republican."
--Bill Clinton,

There are those who say the right hated Clinton because of Vietnam,
but that can't be it
because the love the drunker deserter with all their heart and
soul.
No, trust me, Clinton's sin was being a friend to the black man.
That's why they gave Bush a pass on Vietnam - because he hates
"niggers," just like them
Midwest Theaters Ban 'Fahrenheit 9/11'
Excerpt:
A company that owns movie theaters in Iowa
and Nebraska is refusing to show "Fahrenheit 9/11."
R.L. Fridley, owner of Fridley Theatres,
says the controversial documentary incites terrorism.
"I believe this film emboldens them and divides
our country even more," said Fridley.
Hey - I'm all for this guy's position. This is America (or
at least it used to be.)
If he doesn't want packed theaters, if he wants to lose money
to take a stand against Moore,
I'll fight for his right to do that.
Liike most critics, I'll bet he hasn't seen the damn movie, but
to the handjob right, ignorance is a sacrament.
Like Al Franken, said, they are child-like, and they want
to be told what to do. They want a nanny to
guide them thru these scary times, so they turn to religion and
the Republican party for guidance.

Quotes
"Fahrenheit 9/11" is a compelling, persuasive
film, at odds with the White House effort
to present Bush as a strong leader.
He comes across as a shallow, inarticulate man,
simplistic in speech and inauthentic
in manner. If the film is not quite as electrifying as
Moore's "Bowling for Columbine," that
may be because Moore has toned down his usual
exuberance and was sobered by attacks
on the factual accuracy of elements of "Columbine";
playing with larger stakes, he is more
cautious here, and we get an op-ed piece, not a stand-up
routine. But he remains one of the
most valuable figures on the political landscape, a populist
rabble-rouser, humorous and effective;
the outrage and incredulity in his film are an exhilarating
response to Bush's determined repetition
of the same stubborn sound bites.

Split on Backing Kerry Running Mate
Some want to lose with Gephardt, some
want to lose with Edwards
Let's talk about this without getting emotional or name-calling...
The last poll I saw showed Bush ahead
by 15 points when asked,
"Who do you trust to keep you safe from terrorism?"
So, one small terror attack and Bush goes up 8-10 points.
That means we lose this election, in my opinion, unless Kerry
picks Clark.
I would like to read polite disagreement of why I'm wrong.
I'm just another bonehead with an opinion, but it seems clearer
than Lake Concha.
Remember what they did to Max Cleland? I don't think they
could do that to Wes Clark, but they'll try.
They're going to "bin Laden" whoever "Hanoi John" picks and I
think Clark is best equipt to fight back.
So let me hear from you:
I would rather lose with Edwards
than win with Clark?
I would rather lose with Gephardt
than win with Clark?
I can't stand Clark, and would
rather we lose than have him as VP?
And who is this Ohio governor
that nobody ever heard of?
Last thing - please don't write and say "Dean, Kucinich, Sharpton"
etc because the media,
fairly or not, has eliminated them from consideration.
So, the question is - why isn't Clark the clearly obvious choice?
Remember - we want to win and terrorism/Iraq is the top
issue.

Bush supporters renew vigor in lambasting media
Excerpt:
Last month Brent Bozell, a conservative
activist, launched a $2.8 million advertising and talk-radio campaign
to discredit what he says is an anti-Bush
bias in newspapers and television news. His conservative Media
Research Center is running newspaper and
billboard ads depicting a stern-faced Uncle Sam warning:
``Don't believe the liberal media!''
Hey Brent, if the media is biased against Bush, why don't we know
how many felonies he has committed?
No reporter with access to Bunnypants has the courage to ask
that question, but we all know about every
cleavage Clinton ever glanced at, and every check he wrote going
back to the seventies.
...but the media has agreed not to ask Bush how many times he's pleaded guilty to a felony.
And what about the generally accepted way they cover Bush speeches?
They report was he intended to say, what was in
his script - not what he actually said.
With Clinton and Gore, they just made shit up and claimed that
they said it - just the opposite.
"Invented the internet?" "Discovered
Love Canal?" "Love Story was about Tipper and me?"
The anti-Bush media fabricated those lies and called Gore a serial liar?
It sounds to me like they're protecting Bush.
They're biased towards him, not against him.
One more thing:
Bozelle isn't doing this for any reason other than to bully the
media.
Like the Democrats, the medua refuses to fight back.
When they accuse CNN of being "Clinton's News Network," CNN moves
farther to the right.
It would be nice to go one weekend without CNN broadcasting
"Fly
Boys," the story where
we learn again and again and again and again what a great hero
Poppy Bush was, followed by
another round table discussion about what a perfect saint Ronald
Reagan was.
Could we possibly go one full weekend without you running
those, CNN?

The New Yorker magazine reports that a

has abused prescription narcotics for years.
The physician, Gary Malakoff, has been removed
from the vice president's medical team,
a Cheney spokesman said. The vice president's
office did not say when Malakoff was removed.
"Dr. Malakoff is no longer a member of the team that treats the vice president," Kellems told CNN.
"Dr. Malakoff is a private citizen. He is not

The office of the vice president does

Excerpt:
I have to conclude the Michael Moore is
either blind, or a coward. Blind, if he can't see Bush's craven ties to
Israel,
driven by the neocons and the Christian
Zionists and Bible-thumping fundamentalists like Jerry Falwell, who consider
Israel Jesus' next stop and see Saudi Arabia
as Satanic.
Bush is religiously insane and he's a simpleton
who giggles-when-he-kills.
You can't expect Moore to explain, to your
satisfaction, Bush's brand of religious insanity.
Quotes
"Michael Moore may be an ass, and impossible
to like as a public figure, and a little loose
with the facts, and greedy, and a shameless
panderer. But he wouldn't be necessary if even one
percent of the rest of us had any balls
at all. If even one reporter had stood up during a pre-Iraq
Bush press conference last year and
shouted, "Bullshit!" it might have made a difference. If even
one network, instead of cheerily re-broadcasting
Pentagon-generated aerial bomb footage, had risked
its access to the government by saying
to the Bush administration, "We're not covering the war unless
we can shoot anything we want, without
restrictions," that might have made a difference. It might have
made this war look like what it is - pointless
death and carnage that would have scared away every
advertiser in the country - rather than
a big fucking football game that you can sell Coke and Pepsi
and Scott's Fertilizer to."

Families Call on Bush to See Moore's Film
Excerpt:
Bush and everyone in Washington should
screen Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11,"
a group of military and 9/11 families said
Wednesday.
"What we want to say is how important Michael
Moore's movie is ... in bringing back
the ability to have a dialogue" about the
issues surrounding the war," said Nancy Lessin
of the group Military Families Speak Out,
whose stepson is a Marine.
"What we're trying to do here is to tell the administration
... not only see it but then come out
... and explain why this happened, why
we went to Iraq and why 9/11 happened," said Ivan
Medina, a former Marine who served in Iraq
and whose twin brother Irving was killed there.

Subject: F 9/11 review
Hey Bart,
Read the following review on Yahoo for F 9/11:
A Deceived, Disappointed Democrat Who
Hated This
by orchardadvisors
I am a Democrat who voted for Al Gore, so
I actually was expecting to like this movie.
However, I left it feeling sick that Hollywood
has descended to this depth of purely bad
propoganda-driven movie making.
I am ashamed at the total sensationalism
of this movie that seems to be based not on fact,
but on conjecture, speculation, and rumor.
How dare Michael Moore deceive the public
into thinking this is anything remotely
resembling a documentary?
Nothing seems supported by fact. I expected
to learn something, but actually left feeling deceived.
I'm a Democrat, but considering the unfair
viscious attack on our President (like him or not)
during a time of War (whether for it or
against), Moore's movie is totally irresponsible,
not to mention just pure BAD FILMAKING.
This sounds like bullshit to me. <snippage>
Kris T
I agree - that guy is a ditto-monkley thru and thru.
One thing I kinda agree on - he says "Nothing seems supported
by fact."
Moore got much of his ammo from the Washington Whore Post and
the New York
Whore Times, two brothel papers that have less credibility than
bartcop.com
Something that got snipped:
I can honestly say that this is the first
time IN MY LIFE that I have seen a movie
theatre audience (at an afternoon matinee,
no less) APPLAUD at the end of the film.
That happened all the time 30-40 years ago, but it never happens today.
Why can't we ever get the truth?
Remember Clinton's alleged "blow up" with that Dimbleby guy in
England?
They showed Clinton's "blow up," in a dozen different ways from
multiple camera angles,
but the bastards never showed WHY he blew up because reporters
cannot do their jobs.
Then along came Good Day Live, or whatever the name of that LA
show is, and the pretty blonde,
apparently her name is Dorothy Lucey, said the reason Clinton
blew up was because that Dimbleby guy
asked a question with SIX "blow jobs" in the question. She claimed
he didn't say "oral sex," he said "blow jobs,"
Turns out she was lying thru her damn teeth.
Why do they do that?
It's an entertainment show, without any agenda, and they spoke
glowingly of Clinton, so why did that
woman intentionally and deliberately tell us a big, fat, fabricated
piece of horseshit?
Someone sent me a transcript, but we can't trust this either.
Every
news organization lies out their ass all f-ing day, every f-ick day and
I'm fed up with it!
You can't trust CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, Time Magzine, the New
York Whore Times - none of them!
Doesn't America deserve one
news organization that's whore free?
Here's what the BBC says happened:
DIMBLEBY: You were fighting for your presidency and you were fighting as you saw it against political enemies.
CLINTON: Absolutely.
(Crosstalk)
DIMBLEBY: Right through ..and that was what it was about?
CLINTON: Wasn't as I saw it sir,
we had several years of evidence. We had several years of evidence.
Kenneth Starr would not be allowed to be
prosecutor against me as a defendant in any decent court in the land.
DIMBLEBY: You obviously
CLINTON: And, and let me just say
this. One of the reasons he got away with it is because people like you
only ask people like me the questions.
You gave him a complete free ride. Any abuse they wanted to do, they
indicted all these little people from Arkansas,
what did you care about them, they're not famous, who cares that
their life were trampled.
I don't see one "blow job" there,
much less six.
Dorothy Lucey intentionally lied
- and for what reason?
Of course, it's possible the BBC is lying,
so who the fuck can we trust?
That also brings up the question - why did
Clinton get so upset?
I didn't see anything there that would
make Clinton blow up - did you?
Today's reporters can't even find the who,
what, when where and how.
All they want is sex and then they lie
about that.
Bart's Law #7 No news outlet in America can be trusted
We have to admit it - they're all whores.
I can't name one network, one cable channel, one TV show, one
newspaper or one magazine that can be trusted.
They're crooked and they're lazy and they'll print any goddamn
lie they choose to. The most honest news
on all of television is the "fake news" from The Daily
Show with Jon Stewart - everybody else is lying.
If you want intergity, you have to turn to the internet where
news and opinion can be stated without a corporate
sponsor looking over your shoulder while you write, telling you,
"Put
this in your news and take that out."
Fox Mulder said it first - trust no one ...in America's whore media
