Quote of the Day

"We begin tonight with a simple, indisputable fact:
as a young man, President George W. Bush
benefited from family connections to get a place
in the Texas Air National Guard, thus avoiding
service in Vietnam. As you would guess, this has
led to calls for the resignation of Dan Rather."

 Quotes

"It's hard to help a country go from tyranny to elections to peace when there are
a handful of people who are willing to kill in order to stop the process.  And that's
what you're seeing on the TV screens. These people cannot beat us militarily."
-- The delusional King, lying to himself while men are dying every day in Iraq   Attribution

But george, you mean "only a handful" of people are keeping us out of Fallujah, Najaf, Ramadi,
Sammara, Karbala, Tikrit, Bayji, Al Haglanyah, much of Baghdad and and all points in between?

A "handful" of people are attacking our troops 80 times a day?

Millions Blocked from Voting in U.S. Election

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
Millions of U.S. citizens, including a disproportionate number of black voters,
will be blocked from voting in the Nov. 2 election because of legal barriers,
faulty procedures or dirty tricks, according to civil rights and legal experts.

"In elections in Baltimore in 2002 and in Georgia last year, black voters were sent fliers
saying anyone who hadn't paid utility bills or had outstanding parking tickets or were behind
on their rent would be arrested at polling stations. It happens in every election cycle," she said.

In a mayoral election in Philadelphia last year, people pretending to be plainclothes cops stood
outside some polling stations asking people to identify themselves. There have also been reports
of mysterious people videotaping people waiting in line to vote in black neighborhoods.

Will the Democrats be able to stop the Bush bastards from stealing another one?
Will the press help when democracy screams, "Help me, I'm drowning?"
Or will they cheer for the dirty water like they did in 2000?

 Dueling Quotes

"All of the traditional media is against us. The traditional media in this country is in tune
with the elite, not the people. That is why we're not liked by the traditional media. That's not us."
--Rupert Murdoch, on why a Nazi's life is so lonely, Attribution

"Far be it for me to contradict the saintly Mr. Murdoch, but when his usually unnamed minions
spend their days trumpeting their volume of viewers and readers (100 billion flies can't be wrong)

Robert Novak, I'm afraid he's going to have to face the horrible truth:  he is the "media elite."

Bush fell short on duty at Guard
Records show pledges unmet - how can they worship a deserter?

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
On July 30, 1973, shortly before he moved from Houston to Cambridge, Bush signed a document
that declared, ''It is my responsibility to locate and be assigned to another Reserve forces unit or
mobilization augmentation position. If I fail to do so, I am subject to involuntary order to active duty
for up to 24 months. . . " Under Guard regulations, Bush had 60 days to locate a new unit.

But Bush never signed up with a Boston-area unit. In 1999, Bush spokesman Dan Bartlett told the
Washington Post that Bush finished his six-year commitment at a Boston area Air Force Reserve unit
after he left Houston. Not so, Bartlett now concedes. ''I must have misspoke," Bartlett, who is now the
White House communications director, lied in a recent interview.

And early in his Guard service, on May 27, 1968, Bush signed a ''statement of understanding" pledging
to achieve ''satisfactory participation" that included attendance at 24 days of annual weekend duty -- usually
involving two weekend days each month -- and 15 days of annual active duty. ''I understand that I may be
ordered to active duty for a period not to exceed 24 months for unsatisfactory participation," the statement reads.

Yet Bush, a fighter-interceptor pilot, performed no service for one six-month period in 1972 and for
another period of almost three months in 1973, the records show.

After 12 years of screaming at Clinton, who wanted fewer names on the Vietnam Memorial Wall,
the GOP now worships a drunken, wartime deserter who thought Vietnam was a plenty noble war.

 Report Shows Bush Was AWOL
How can the GOP worship a wartime deserter?

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
As a new examination of documents by the Boston Globe shows, "Bush fell well short of meeting
his military obligation." Twice during his Guard service - first when he joined in May 1968, and again
before he transferred out of his unit in mid-1973 to attend Harvard Business School - Bush signed
documents pledging to meet training commitments or face a punitive call-up to active duty.
But "he didn't meet the commitments, or face the punishment, the records show."

Bush also has claimed "I did show up in Alabama" in 1972 when he was supposed to report there
for duty.  But as the Globe notes, "Bush's service records do not show him logging any service in
Alabama until October of that year." Furthermore, "even that service is in doubt" as "no one has
come forward with any credible recollection of having witnessed Bush performing guard service in
Alabama or after he returned to Houston in 1973."

The rise of the new Iraqi "tough guy"

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
That  is why Allawi's mission to the U.S. this week is so important, at least for George Bush.
He must help convince Americans to disregard the facts and accept the notion that all is well
in Mess-o-potamia. Yesterday our Iraqi client showed that he knows what is expected of him,
dutifully declaring, "We are winning, we are making progress in Iraq, we are defeating terrorists."
Iraqis know better, but who cares what they think?

Tomorrow, Allawi is hosting a press conference in New York for Arab journalists.
All questions must be approved in advance."

The BFEE and it's tentacles have been running the CIA since the late seventies.
Allawi is a former (?) CIA spook, telling us Itaq is Paradise, despite 80 attacks per day,
and the American whore media eats these giant lies with a gravy spoon.

President Bush mocked John Kerry's fitness to be commander in chief Wednesday,
saying the way to bring U.S. troops home from Iraq "is not to wilt or waver."

 That's mocking?
Surely, that writer has never visited bartcop.com
We know mocking when we see it, and "not to wilt or waver" is not mocking.

"Bunnypants on the USS Lincoln looked like Rocky the Flying Squirrel high on Starbucks,"
is much more mocking than "not to wilt or waver."

 Quotes

"I find the hand wringing over the Dan Rather-George W. Bush interesting. I recall that sometime
in the mid-90s, at the heart of Whitewater, that "Nightline" ran a story, with commentary by Jeff Greenfield,
that used video of Hillary Clinton supposedly admitting to something that she'd been saying she hadn't done.
Of course, it wasn't until much later that it was learned that ABC had doctored the video and that Ms. Clinton
was actually saying something quite different. So, I wonder. I notice that Koppel and Greenfield still have jobs,
but was anybody from ABC dismissed over that matter? And if not, then why should Rather or Mapes or anybody
at CBS be out of work for what appears to be an honest mistake and not a deliberate act like ABC's video editing?"
        --John Royal,    Attribution

These media whores just kill me...
They act like they're so honest and above lying or slanting a story.

They are actors reading a script of lies written by their billionaire corporate bosses.
You show me an honest reporter whose last name isn't Thomas and I'll buy you a shot of Chinaco.

...and I can prove that because they no longer call on helen Thomas.
If Bush calls on a reporter, it's ONLY because he knows that reporter is "safe"
and willing to play ball with the BFEE to further the global takeover that started Dec11, 2001.

Allawi: Iraq will hold elections in January

  Excerpt:
After meeting with interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, Bush said he expects violence
in Iraq to escalate as the country moves toward elections scheduled for January.

 Gee, he's another Kreskin..
They keep saying Iraq will have "free" elections.
Wish we could have that here, in America.

But I have a prediction of my own:
When they hang the first sign in Baghdad that says "Vote Here,"
that building will be blown to bits 10 minutes later - killing those standing in line.
So, ...who will stand in the second line to vote?

Plus, how are they going to vote in Fallujah, Najaf, Ramadi, Sammara, Karbala, Tikrit, Bayji,
Al Haglanyah and the sections of Baghdad where the mightiest military on Earth dare not step?

 Position Reversal

Now that Kerry has turned into an anti-Bush Grizzly bear
we should no longer feel reluctant to contribute to the Democrats.

All we ever asked them was to wake the hell up and begin the fight.
We won't know until Nov 3 if Kerry woke up in time to stop them,

murdering bastard Bush into retirement so he can talk to the Crawford cows.

If nothing else - do it to save some soldiers lives.

 Covert operation in LA

 Excerpt:
"Elvis has left the building," crackled the walkie-talkie. It was 17 minutes after a strike force
of seven (including four lookouts and one ground-support crew member - read: ladder holder)
began their ascent up the Resident Evil billboard at the corner of Pico and Centinela before
 daybreak Saturday morning.

Their goal: attempt to shift the power imbalance that limits access to one of the world's largest
mediums of public expression. Their weapons: the letter "P," 2 feet tall, and a big picture of Bush's face.

The result: one new "pResident Evil" billboard with Milla Jovovich's head replaced with a mug of
our commander in chief. The remainder of the night was devoted to the simpler, yet no less satisfying,
task of "improving" bus-stop versions of the same movie poster until the purpling sky and dwindling
supply of paper Bush heads told the team it was time to go home.

 Quotes

"We know that dictators are quick to choose aggression,
while free nations strive to resolve differences in peace."
--Dubya, the Monkey who ordered the Mother of all Bombs dropped on Baghdad    Attribution

..

 Subject: Why?

 The question should not be:
"Are we safer with Saddam in jail?"

 but

"Would we be safer with Osama in jail, instead?"

 The question is not,
Did George W Bush use his family influence to get into
the National Guard and to cover the fact he went AWOL?

We know he did, the facts prove it.
 The real question is,
"Why cant GWB tell the truth today and admit it to the people?"

Time and time again GWB lies and misleads the American people
 We need to ask WHY?

 Larry the Liberal

Another question: Why won't the media call him on it?

When Clinton had a girlfriend, Washington was all pit bulls.
Now that Bush is killing three soldiers a day, they turn Chihuaua.

Iraq: How bad can things get?
Bush: "I have not yet begun to fuck up..."

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
Just how bad are things in Iraq? Since just last week it has seen hundreds of deaths,
suicide bombings, beheadings, yet more people kidnapped. When I visited Basra exactly
one year ago it was safe enough to stay in town on our own. This time, we wouldn't dream
of doing that. The chances of being kidnapped are too great...

The problem is that very few people are actively supporting the fight against the militants.
A vicious campaign of intimidation doesn't help matters. Last month, five cleaning ladies at
a British base were murdered on their way to work. Two local translators disappeared.
Their severed heads were found outside the front gate. But perhaps the most worrying
development of the August fighting was that none of Basra's 25,000 police officers came
to the aid of the British soldiers. Some even helped the gunmen."

As I explain in BCR Show 55 (out soon) we have three options in Iraq:

Option One:
We can elect Kerry and with Bush gone, our allies will come back. Their greed will put their soldiers on the
ground in Iraq. If we can get five nations to deploy 30,000 troops each, it would reduce America deaths from
three per day to perhaps three per week. That's a seven-fold savings in America lives if we fire the Monkey.

Option Two:
We can just leave Iraq, and let Zarqawi have the $100M a day the BFEE is stealing.
That means Zarqawi's income would be 3 billion dollars a month.
How long before he can afford an atomic bomb or twenty?

Option Three:
Bush wins/steals the election and begins the bloody invasion of Fallujah, Najaf, Ramadi, Sammara, Karbala,
Tikrit, Bayji, Al Haglanyah and the sections of Baghdad where our military has, so far, been afraid to go.
We could lose 1000 soldiers in the 30 days following the stolen election.

Bottom line: If you want to see the bloodbath of the century, vote for the insane Invader Monkey.

 Poker Pros Always Want 'In'

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
The men are three of the kings of so-called no-limit poker, a format in which any player at any time
can put all his money in the pot - all in, as they say. No-limit poker is as indigenous to America as jazz,
and full of just as much improvisation. Apple pie is fine, and baseball is always good on a sunny day,
but what could be more American than betting $1 million on the flop of single card?

Although pitiless when they sit across the table from one another for a game of Hold 'Em, the three,
Doyle Brunson, T. J. Cloutier and Gus Hansen, are friends, as friendly as professional card players get.
They are all self-described degenerate gamblers who just happen to be better at the game than civilians.
Their every waking minute is spent in pursuit of action, not always at the poker table. If the three of them
came across two worms washed on a sidewalk after a rainstorm, they might be compelled to stop and
bet on which one makes it back to the grass first.
