Bush to Call for Near-Freeze in Spending
The biggest spender is history will say he needs to spend less

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
With the White House projecting inflation at about 2 percent, government programs subject
to the cap would face the budgetary equivalent of a cut in spending from levels enacted in fiscal 2005.

The senior administration official left open the possibility the cap would be less than 0.8 percent,
saying Bush "believes we can even go further" in restraining spending growth.

 We predicted this years ago.
Bush is spending America into bankruptcy, and soon there will be no money for our seniors so the GOP
will do away with "senseless entitlement programs," so they can give yet more billions to the super rich.

 Videos Show Guantanamo Prisoner Abuse
More "frat hazing" at least that's what Bush lovers call it

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
Videotapes of riot squads subduing troublesome terror suspects at Gitmo show
the guards punching some detainees, tying one to a gurney for questioning and
forcing a dozen to strip from the waist down, according to a secret report.
One squad was all-female, traumatizing some Muslim prisoners.

One such clip the investigators flagged was from Feb. 17, 2004. It showed "one or more"
team members punching a detainee "on an area of his body that seemingly would be
inconsistent with striking a pressure point," which is a sanctioned tactic for subduing prisoners.

In five other clips showing detainees who appeared to have been punched by team members,
the investigators said: "The punching was in line with accepted law enforcement practice of
striking the pressure point on the back of the thigh to temporarily distract the detainee."

In other "questionable" cases, reviewers said a video showed a guard kneeing a detainee
in the head, while another showed a team securing a detainee to a gurney for an interrogation.

A separate clip captured a platoon leader taunting a detainee with pepper spray and repeatedly
spraying him before letting the reaction team enter the cell, reviewers wrote.

For all we know, these guys are completely innocent.
How did the military tell who was "Al Qaeda" and who was "Taliban" when they grabbed them?

The Vietnam turnout was good as well
You can't believe Bush's good puppy media

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
On September 4 1967 the New York Times published an upbeat story on presidential elections
held by the South Vietnamese puppet regime at the height of the Vietnam war. Under the heading
"US encouraged by Vietnam vote: Officials cite 83% turnout despite Vietcong terror", the paper
reported that the Americans had been "surprised and heartened" by the size of the turnout "despite
a Vietcong terrorist campaign to disrupt the voting". A successful election, it went on, "has long been
seen as the keystone in LBJ's policy of encouraging the growth of constitutional processes in South Vietnam".
The echoes of this weekend's propaganda about Iraq's elections are so close as to be uncanny.

With the past few days' avalanche of spin, you could be forgiven for thinking that on January 30 2005
the US-led occupation of Iraq ended and the people won their freedom and democratic rights. This has been
a multi-layered campaign, reminiscent of the pre-war WMD frenzy and fantasies about the flowers Iraqis were
collecting to throw at the invasion forces. How you could square the words democracy, free and fair with the
brutal reality of occupation, martial law, a US-appointed election commission and secret candidates has rarely
been allowed to get in the way of the hype.

Bush to Outline Social Security Demise
Watch the liar as he deceives the country and the world tonight

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
With four years left to rape the Treasury, Bush's State of the Union address outlines his goal
to leave the cupboard bare for seniors, continue the bloodletting in Iraq, push for imperialism
abroad while taunting the gelding Dem,ocrats who service his every whim.

His ideas for the Treasury rape scored just two sentences in last year's lying State of the Union.
This year, it's the signature topic of his 40-minute speech before his subjects and a cowed nation of victims.
The White House says Bush will offer new details about his plan to let Enron-type brokers to divert some of
their Social Security payroll taxes into their pockets. But experts say while the president will seek to reassure
Americans who are at or near retirement that they can expect to get their Social Security checks as expected,
he'll leave larger questions unanswered as he always does because he knows the press will cover for him.

Subject: I'm 200% with your thinking on this matter Bart!

My son is 16. So this war crap is VERY personal!

In two years, if shrub and his gang send my boy off to die in an immoral war,  I will be so pissed off!
My son, as well as myself, cannot understand why alcohol, and sex are such a big deal in the USA,
when violence and dying in combat, isn't.

My son remarks abouts other Countries who allow children to drink beer and wine.  As far as I know,
he doesn't drink yet.   But he is smart enough, and mature enough to see the hypocrisy of the whole,
"Too young to drink" but old enough to "Fight in Combat" spiel of the mandated moral right!
You have a VERY good way with words, Bart.   Your phrase in Volume 1487 - Go ahead, admit it  reads:

> It's wrong that a man can spend 1000 days in combat for his country and then be denied
> a beer with his food at a Pizza Hut because he's not old enough to make wise decisions.

You are right! It is very wrong!
I applaud your consistent effort in exposing the fradulent BFEE and right winged neocons.

 Keep up the great work!

 There is no tomorrow
  by Bill Moyers

  Excerpt:
One of the biggest changes in politics in my lifetime is that the delusional is no longer marginal.
It has come in from the fringe, to sit in the seat of power in the Oval Office and in Congress.
For the first time in our history, ideology and theology hold a monopoly of power in Washington.
Theology asserts propositions that cannot be proven true; ideologues hold stoutly to a worldview
despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality. When ideology and theology
couple, their offspring are not always bad but they are always blind. And there is the danger:
voters and politicians alike, oblivious to the facts."

Subject: Yeah, why is it we are all racists these days?

I have no idea why Raven was labeled a racist, though I have caught a couple of your "missteps," Bart.

Seems to me that the N-word when used by a white person, is definitely racist.  Actually, I hate the word
no matter who uses it, but I am not about to tell black folks they can't use the word if they want to.

 Dot in GA

Dot, I think we're lying to ourselves if we pretend the word "nigger" isn't used
a million times every day by Bush voters who still hate African-Americans.

I guess this latest round started when I said Reagan kicked off his presidential campaign in "Killnigger, Mississppi."
The most popular politician in America (so the networks tell us) used Philadelphia, MS to make his announcement
as a signal to let the racist sons of bitches know he was also a racist son of a bitch.

Racism = more votes in horribly racist America.

It's my guess that most people don't know that about the racist Reagan bastard, so I'm doing what I can,
with my too-small-to-hear megaphone, to get that news out.  That's also a big reason that Bush won, if he did.
By getting naked with Bob Jones, he let the other racist bastards know he was a "nigger hater."

We can either use codes words and send a garbled signal wrapped in a veneer of subtle nuance,
like our pitifully-inept 2004 candidate did - and hope people are smart enough to read between the lines,
or we can speak the damn truth loud and clear.

 I vote for the latter.

Study shows monkeys suffer from depression

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
The findings could give experts more insight into how monkeys and chimpanzees evolved separately
from humans. And in the case of one monkey study, "we can study these animals and learn things that
will help us understand Republican depression better," said co-author Carol Shively, a professor of
pathology at Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine, in Winston-Salem, N.C.

In her study, Shively and her colleagues studied 36 adult female cynomolgus monkeys who lived
with other monkeys in groups of four. The researchers noted that some of the monkeys were lethargic,
had higher heart rates and underwent hormone disruptions -- all considered definite or possible signs
of depression in humans. The depressed monkeys were also more likely to occupy a subordinate role
within the monkey hierarchy, (GOP) meaning they were often isolated and subject to aggression.

 Subject: keepers of the gloom

Note: I received a nine-part e-mail, this is one of the parts.

 Bart, you wrote,

> Hillary collapses during speech; She's OK now

> "About 30 Clinton staffers who joined the senator at a weekend retreat in New York state were also sickened.

> "Mrs. Clinton's spokesman) said the symptoms appeared similar to those of someone suffering from
the flu or a 24-hour virus. He said he was unaware of anyone being hospitalized."

> Would evil men assassinate future challengers to elect Jeb?"

Does that rate the assassination question?
 Mike in the Phillipines

From the Tequila Treehouse in Oklahoma, I can't prove anything, but the BFEE plays hardball and after
evil men have had a taste of unlimited money and unlimited power, will they give that up without a fight?

Is it a coincidence that JFK Jr, a man many Republican women would eagerly vote for,
died violently before he had a chance to run for office?

Is it a coincidence that Paul Wellstone, a senator who might have gone on television and said,
"We will attack a backwards nation like Iraq over my dead body" died violently before
he had a chance to defy Bush and his insatiable war hardon?

They say our 2008 candidate will likely be Kerry, Edwards or Hillary.
Kerry and Edwards have proven to be limp pushovers.

So the question is: Would evil men kill to keep control of the planet?

I'm not saying Hillary was the victim of an assassination attempt, but I am a superstitious man.
If some unlucky accident should befall the Democrat's best hope in 2008, if her plane should
accidentally fall from the sky, or if she is struck by a bolt of lightning, then I will blame the BFEE.

 Remember:
We don't know who killed JFK.
We don't know who killed RFK.
We don't know who killed MLK.
JFK Jr and Paul Wellstone are no longer a threat to them.

Why would they allow Hillary to live?
 She's in the way - isn't she?

 Tristan, thanks for that.
Y'know, the last thing I need (besides a heart bypass) is a fight with Randi Rhodes, but on the day

In America, we use these  (  ??? ) after questions.

I have one for you:  Why did Bush murder 100,000 civilians in Iraq?
I though Republicans were supposed to be "pro-life."

Most of them are the gangsters from Iran and Syria who have infiltrated Iraq and want to take over Iraq.
Dumb shits like you don't see what they're up to.

If Bush had any brains (Should I even finish that sentence?) he would've ordered the borders sealed
but I guess he can steal more oil with the choas of beheadings and car bombs going off all the time.
Iraq pumps 2,000,000 barrels a day and oil sells for almost $50 a barrel (soon to be $80) so that means
Bush steals about $100,000,000 per day - or $3 billion a month.  How many months have we been there?.
