Bringing our troops home from the quagmire that he has gotten us into

United States? George: even if you pretend you didn't know that Saddam

differently.
We have read the reports and the Downing Street Memos. We know you "fit
the intelligence
around the policy" of invading Iraq. I want to know what your real
reasons were.
I will be back in Crawford George: Even closer

Panic engulfed thousands of Shiites marching across
a bridge in a religious procession Wednesday after
rumors spread that a suicide bomber was about to attack, triggering
a stampede that killed at least 695 people.
It was the single biggest confirmed loss of life in Iraq since the March
2003 invasion.
Scores jumped or were pushed to their deaths
into the Tigris River, but many were crushed in the crowd,
which had jammed up at a security checkpoint on the bridge. Most of
the dead were women and children.

Bill Kristol's zeal for battle is truly inspiring. Maybe he should join
the fight.
He could emulate Theodore Roosevelt, who proved his zeal for the Spanish-American
War
by quitting his cushy desk job and organizing his own regiment to fight
in Cuba. It was called
the Rough Riders. Kristol's regiment could include other war-hawk
opinion slingers in the
Murdoch empire, guys like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly. He could call
it the Tough Talkers.

Subject: radio blowhards
I just felt compelled to mention some of the
truly irresponsible comments made Monday
by several talk hosts. Actually it began Sunday night with Drudge ridiculing
the National
Weather Service warnings of catastrophic consequences in New Orleans
as a result of
breached levee flooding. To go on the air and proclaim these warnings
as hyperbole might
have seemed to some as bold commentary, but I interpreted the NWS bulletins
as
'worst case scneario' possibilities, to encourage evacuation.
Not only did Rush Limbaugh find these
same "dire warnings" as 'over the top' during his
program Monday, but he also politicized the argument stating that some
will criticize the
President for not doing enough, quickly enough. It also took Limbaugh
less than 20 minutes
to mention Clinton.
I heard this stuff as really irresponsible
in light of the unbelievably horrific video coming out of
the devastation. It's much worse today than it appeared yesterday...the
levee has not held,
and it may end up as devastating as the NWS stated. Is there nothing
that can be spared
from partisan analysis. Perhaps this appears as coming from someone
on the Left, a liberal.
The fact is I'm disenchanted by the system, however the comments of
Limbaugh, Drudge, etc.
seemed cavalier, hasty, inappropriate, and irresponsible.
Compelling radio? Innacurate reporting. The facts revealed today make
everything he said
yesterday seem foolish. And if this is 'good radio'it's an example,
along with Michael Savages
of the dial, of just how the medium has eroded.

" Bush says that he's met with
the families of a lot of fallen soldiers and that Cindy
"doesn't represent the view of a lot" of them. We have no
way of knowing, of course:
The meetings are closed to the press, so it's hard to know what family
members have
told the president, let alone what they actually think. But it turns
out that Cindy does indeed
"represent the view" of a lot of them. In a new poll, a majority
of Americans say they
support what Cindy is doing in Crawford. The president can only dream
about poll numbers
like hers. Americans support Cindy 53 to 42 percent and they disapprove
of Bush's
mis- handling of Iraq by a margin of 58 to 37 percent. The demonization
of Cindy is
working just about as well as the president's plan for Iraq."

A syndicated cartoon that appeared in the New York Times
earlier this month depicts a Republican
elephant protesting outside of Bush's fake ranch. The elephant is holding
a sign that reads,
"End The War (Before The '06 Elections)." History may inevitably
repeat itself, but it isn't supposed
to start showing reruns so quickly. Not even a year has passed since
liberals failed to exploit
opposition to the Iraq war to defeat President Bush."
Will the Democrats be motivated to try in 2006?
Or will they just lay there and beg, "Please
don't hurt me"
like they did in 2000, 2002 and 2004?
If they don't want to win, why don't they get the hell out of the way

...there is nothing funny about any of this. The top leadership of
this nation has gone barking mad,
has enwombed itself in a fantasy world where dead people don't hit
the ground and where no plan
is the best plan, and that madness has trickled down over the rest
of us.
George W. Bush coughed up his latest rationale
for continuing the Iraq war - I think this is the fourth
or fifth one of these to this point - by saying that because so many
American soldiers have been killed,
we have to keep sending American soldiers to get killed as a means
of honoring the American soldiers
who have been killed. Big talk from a guy who spends more time on
vacation than a French aristocrat.
Cindy Sheehan, the Gold Star mother who lost
her son in Iraq and who has spent the last month
perched outside the Crawford ranch like Poe's raven, almost sounds
like she pities George in her
latest dispatch from Camp Casey. "Since the Freedom and Democracy
thing is not going so well,"
writes Sheehan, "and the Iraqi parliament is having such a hard
time writing their constitution, since
violence is mounting against Iraqis and Americans and since his poll
numbers are going down every
day, he had to come up with something.

Subject: useless
Democrats
I recently passed a lovely week with my conservative
grandparents in Colorado
during which I was subjugated to the propaganda of the Republican
party through
a small news station in Texas happilly paying respect to their commander
by
unleashing Bill O'Reilly from the speakers of our car into the Texan
air.
Reluctantly, I set down my CD walkman to catch
a word from the whitest man on television
and now, the Texas radio. It was the point in Bill O'Reilly's show
when the volume starts to
gradually lower because Bill's hot spit is drowning the microphone
as he yells at a helpless
Democrat and then has the audacity to say that Liberals and Democrats
need to abandon
their anger and be at peace with the Republicans.
At this point my grandfather in his wisdom then
commented that the Democrats (and I quote)
"are a useless party who has no impact what so ever and wants
everything done for them".
Later in the show, Bill O'Reilly himself admitted that the war in
Iraq was a mistake.
These words from Irish Bill struck me like a bolt of lightning. Either
Bill O'Reilly was at gunpoint
when he made this comment or it was in fact the "useless party
who has no impact" who was slowly
cutting down the red-neck, lying, McDonald's eating conservative party's
Nazified views...even that
of Fearless Leader Bill O'Reilly.
I think that it is protests like that of the
250,000 in New York who stood up during the 2004
campaigning and that of the angry mother Cindy Sheehan that are deteriorating
the Republican party
and without a second thought I support your work and the thousands
who will gather on September 24
to demand impeachment as advertised on your webiste.
Your angry Liberal friend,
-Max F

Bill, you're missing the bigger point.
Yes, we've all seen what happens when the Commander in Thief says

what this is about.
Apparently this second round of pictures (and movies) is so
