"Eighty-four Americans died in Iraq last month.
Ninety-six died in November.
December? It's not starting well. As
the White House celebrates a "season of hope and happiness,"
10 Marines were killed Thursday. The "coalition

Bulgaria and Ukraine will begin withdrawing
their troops this month, and the whore AP notes that
Australia, Britain, Italy, Japan, Poland and
South Korea are all talking about pulling out, too."
--Tim Grieve, Link
Can we call for an election now, like they do in
other countries?
Bush is going to get thousands more men
killed in the next 3 years for nothing.
Do we really have to sit back and take it?
We need a Republican to stand up like Murtha
did, since the Democrats are too scared.

TSA on Holiday
Travelers
by Robert Parry at consortiumnews.com

Excerpt:
As Americans prepare for Christmas holiday travel,
many will find an unpleasant surprise at the airport
-- an embarrassing public search, which can include
unbuttoning pants and a physical pat down, because something
about their travel plans raised a red flag. But
are these tactics of the Transportation Security Administration really
protecting passengers from terrorism or do these
procedures amount to make-work pseudo-security?
I know human nature.
Pretty women will "seem suspicious" and will need to be fondled and

Bush gets
an "F" on fighting terrorism
His hand-picked commission
says he's flunking
Link
Excerpt:
Bush's own 9/11 commission gave Republicans and
the president a report card Monday heavy
in B's, C's and D's -- with five F's --
saying the nation was ill-prepared for another terrorist attack.
"Four years after 9/11 it is scandalous that police
and firefighters in large cities still cannot communicate
reliably in a major crisis," said Thomas Kean,
the Republican who was chairman of the commission.
"It is scandalous that airline passengers are
still not screened against all names on a terrorist watch list.
"It is scandalous that we still allocate scarce
homeland security dollars
on the basis of pork barrel spending,
not risk."
Is there anyone left who doesn't hate Bush?

Subject: 9/11
Hi Bart
I keep reading in your site claims from seemingly
reputable people that 9-11 was perpetrated
by the Bush administration, supposedly in the
hopes of solidifying support for the president,
getting us into various wars and destroying the
Democratic Party.
Am I reading this correctly?...or am I delusional?
Charles A
Charles, you're not delusional.
As far as I know, nobody can prove anything BUT
we know for a fact
that Bush has lied repeatedly about 9-11 and
has refused to testify under oath.
We also know because of 9-11, he became the most
powerful man in all of history
and that he and his friends are making hundreds
of millions of dollars per day from this war.
Without 9-11 and Al Qaeda none of that could've
happened - those are facts.
Again and again, Bart's
Law #2 proves itself:
Bart's
Law #2
Any time a person
or entity makes a "mistake" that puts extra money (or power)
in their pocket, expect
them to make that "mistake" again and again and again.
Tell me, Charles - if you were the night watchman at a store, and you
personally made $10,000
each time the store or factory was broken into at night, how safe would
that store be?
If Bush is innocent, what's he trying to hide?

"One day, Uday Hussein was in a swimming pool
with some women. He summoned Embad to bring him whiskey.
When Emad handed over the glass, Uday forced
his head under water and pinned it between his knees. Emad knew
that if he struggled at all it would be the
end of his life, but the game went on and on, for half a minute, until
he felt
he was about to die anyway. Emad resigned
himself to his fate, but as he started to lose consciousness his arm
instinctively moved from side to side to indicate
that he couldn't endure it any more. He felt himself released,
and when he came to the surface, Uday was
laughing along with his consorts. "You're a good man," said Uday,
and he insisted that Emad have a whiskey as
well. Uday was probably the most despised man in Iraq--even more
than his father, who climbed on his own to
the pinnacle of power and kept himself there with impressive mastery."

http://sideshow.me.uk
Avedon, are you saying Hillary and Sen. Daniel
Akaka will be side-by-side in the history books?
The only senator who can come close to Hillary's
position is Ted Kennedy, but even he hasn't been
singled out by the right-wing hate machine and
the mass whore media for 24/7/365/decade scrutiny.
Since you're in the UK you may not realize that
the American media created entire TV networks
to run Clinton lies non-stop during the
"all rules are off"
nineties. They created their own demand,
then filled it with whatever false and salacious
lies that would earn them an extra nickle in America's
loudest-squeal-gets-the-grease media whore machine.
We heard about 20 hours of talk radio last weekend,
and everyone - even the right-wing talk radio bastards
fully agree and admit that this is Hillary's
race to lose. As of now, there is no doubt Hillary will be the nominee.
I'm not saying you are, but many, many Democrats
want Hillary to become a combination of Michael Moore,
Jane Fonda and Cindy Sheehan instead of
being president and that's puzzling. If Hillary was crowding out
a more qualified, more easily elected candidate
for the job maybe I could understand, but I'm damn afraid
that if we don't get Hillary we'll have our third
surrender-in-advance candidate and I couldn't handle that.
I'm amazed at the near-constant flow of mail from people I know to be
good Democrats complaining about
the "Clinton disaster," and how America can't take another Clinton
- as tho more BFEE is a good thing.
Why do Democrats act this way? Is self-destruction in our Democratic
genes?
I'm not kidding when I say 2008 may be our last shot at democracy.
If the BFEE steals another election, will anyone bother to vote anymore?

Once-respected web site turns whore in attention bid
Link
Excerpt:
Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia where "facts"
are made up, is tightening submission rules after
publishing the outrageous lie that a prominent
journalist helped to plot the Kennedy assassinations.
Wikipedia will now require liars to "register"
their lies before they can publish them, Jimmy Wales,
right-wing handjob and self-styled messiah, said
Monday. People who modify existing articles will
still be able to lie without registering.
The change comes less than a week after John Seigenthaler,
a one-time administrative assistant to RFK,
that a biography of him on Wikipedia claimed
he had been suspected in the assassinations of the former
attorney general and his brother, President John
F. Kennedy.
I don't know what happened to these guys - maybe they were offered five
dollars to turn whore - but the
respect they once had turned into feces after bad editorial decisions
turned them into pure "Grade A" horseshit.
If you want to see made up crap, you can go to Worldnetdaily.com

Excerpt:
Hillary accused Bush of mismanaging the Iraq
war and claimed his domestic agenda has taken the country
off course in a speech Friday night to Democrats
in Kentucky, a state that solidly backed Der Monkey last year.
"The time has come for the administration to stop
serving up platitudes and present a plan for finishing this war
with success and honor," she said. "I reject
a rigid timetable that the terrorists can exploit, and I reject an open
timetable that has no ending attached to it.
"Instead, I think we need a plan for winning and
concluding this war, and the president can begin by taking
responsibilities for the false assurances, faulty
evidence and mismanagement of this war."
She also called on Bush and Dick "to stop impugning
the patriotism of their critics."
The former first lady received several standing
ovations from the party stalwarts..

Trip Report
It's been so damn hot in Tulsa since March, and I was tired of it.
The day after Thanksgiving, I was grilling burgers on the patio barefoot,
with shorts and a t-shirt and I blame this disaster on Der Monkey's
oil barrons.
It was all I could take, cause I couldn't takes no more, and I'll de
damned if the stars
didn't allign in a certain way so that we had to go to Breckenridge,
Colorado last weekend.
Rumor had it that we could find cooler temperatures if we got high
enough in the mountains
and we had a chance to spend the weekend with Bruce Willis and Don
Ho.
I snatched it.
I called some of my old car buddies and managed to borrow a 2004 Toyota
4Runner,
which is a clumsy-ass tank, but it had four-wheel drive and one never
knows, does one?
"Out of my way, skinheads!"
Since it was a special occasion, I threw some tequila in a bag and we
headed north.
We drove about 600 miles, made it as far as Colby, Kansas, about 50
miles from the Colo border.
Watching the late Colby news, we saw that our destination was expecting
10-20
inches of snow overnight.
Repeat.
Weather Dude with the fake hair says Beaver Creek, CO could get 20
inches before we wake up.
We decided to press on, as tho my name was Bart
Donner.
Sure enough, Saturday morning we woke up and drove east and within
a half-hour, it was blizzard city.
The temperature wasn't that bad - it was about twenty - but the wind
and the snow were fierce.
I'm driving this damn clunky truck and the wind was blowing me all
over the road, no joke intended.
It was my first time driving a 4WD SUV, but I felt confident.
There was no traffic at all - I'd never been on an Interstate Highway
during the daylight when you could
drive 30 minutes without passing a car either way. But since I grew
up in St Louis Denver,
I had a lot of experience driving in blizzard conditions so I stomped
on the gas.
Sidebar:
Once you have satellite radio, you can't
do without it.
Instead of getting Randi Rhodes and CNN
and whatever, you get wall-to-wall, non-stop, right-wing,
screw-the-blacks, screw-the-gays, Bush-is-great,
radio from the 1950s and that blew harder than the wind.
Rush the Pigboy, Glenn Beck, Neil Bortz,
Laura the Unloved - there was no sanity at all.
Eventually, we neared our destination.
Bruce secured our lodging (since he was there a day earlier) and I was
kinda let down.
I was hoping we'd get a fancy skiing chalet, but we ended up with simple,
cramped quarters.
It reminded me of the Lil' Red Ski Haus in Aspen - anybody ever stayed
there?
...but I must say, when the fireplace (our only source of heat) failed
to light, Bruce came to the rescue!
We checked in about 2 PM and the concert was at 3:45.
The concert?
Swear to Koresh, the ski place (whatever they're called) hired Starship
featuring Mickey Thomas
to play at the bottom of the ski run. Outdoors.
While it snowed. It was 17 degrees.
I was damn impressed by the band.
They were singing and playing 15 degrees below freezing and
they did a great job.
So many bands think a loud amp and big hair bring home the bacon, but
Starship is smart enough to know
that things like melody and vocal harmony and a crisp, clear sound
makes the rock kite fly.
They were inside a tent, maybe 20x20 feet, and they had LP gas tanks
with directional heating "targets"
to keep them from going all Ted Williams on us, but they played
like champs.
After 30-40 minutes, Mrs. Bart started getting cold (She's from the
South.)
Me? Shit, I wasn't even cold. I have
the blood of a lizard in me, but she's the boss so we
went to some nearby "Chop House" and tried to warm up. Soon, Bruce
and Don arrived.
We made plans for the tequila tastin' and agreed to meet in a couple
of hours.
We went back to the Lil' Ski Haus and I tried to get some work done
(I do it all for you) but this dump
only had dial-up so I was screwed. Oh well, there was nothing left
to do but prepare for the tequila tastin'.
Before long, I was behind the bar pouring 1/16th ounce shots of different
tequilas in each glass.
Since we were super-low on tequila, I told them it was better to just
taste a few drops :)
Don Ho was well-behaved, but Bruce kept wanting to come behind the bar.
I stopped him.
(He was a wacky, joke-telling bartender before he got discovered for
Moonlighting,)
Once, he got past me and he got into the tequila, saying my Don
Eduardo Anejo
wasn't the best of the brands I had with me.
(It's great tequila) so I
tried to explain - is rock's 10th best guitarist any good?
He fancies himself a musician, too, so that kinda worked.
So we sipped tequila and talked politics and music and computers and
guitars and football.
It was a great night, the kind of night that if someone asked me far,
far into the future (cough)
"Do you remember Beaver Creek 2005?"
I Shirley Wood.
Thanks Don, for everything.
Thanks to Bruce for picking up the tab.
