"It was a hand off the chin gesture meant to
be dismissive, and not at all obscene."
-- SCOTUS spokesperson, on Scalia's "bafangu" gesture,
Link
In the Bush Administration, of which Scalia is a part, "Go
fuck yourself" is not obscene.
nevermind that Three Fingers Scalia did this coming out of church.
For these thugs, "Go fuck yourself" is
a business model to which underlings can aspire.
But, if someone sees a little titty, we must set our hair on fire and
scream, "Save the children."

Weinberger,
Bushes & Iran-Contra
by Robert Parry as seen on Consortiumnews.com
Link
Excerpt:
If Bush had not granted those pardons, Weinberger
would have gone on trial in early 1993 facing perjury
and obstruction charges, a courtroom drama that
could have changed how Americans perceived key figures
from the Reagan administration, including Colin
Powell and President Bush himself.
At stake was not only Weinberger's guilt or innocence
but more importantly the legacy of the Reagan-Bush era.
Quite likely, too, President Bush would have
been caught up in this final unraveling of the Iran-Contra cover-up
- and the prospects for his family's resumption
of political power might have been dealt a fatal blow.
The Weinberger trial might have foreclosed the
possibility that George W. Bush would ride his father's
reputation to the White House eight years later.

Vermont
Weighs Impeachment
Link
Excerpt:
Leading Democrats in Vermont plan to decide in
April whether to urge state lawmakers to
petition for Bush's impeachment using a little-known
provision in the rules of the U.S. House.
Democratic committees in at least half of the
state's 14 counties have passed resolutions calling
for impeachment, citing a rule in "Jefferson's
Manual," a book of parliamentary guidelines written
by Thomas Jefferson that supplements U.S. House
rules.
The anti-Bush movement is "genuinely bubbling
up from the grass roots," said Jon Copans,
the state party's executive director.
I have an idea - impeach Pat Leahy (D-Bush Rubberstamp).
If that works, let's start in on the Bush bastards.

Bush Pressuring
Iraqi Leader to Step Aside
Those elections were a sham like all Bush "elections"
Link
Excerpt:
Senior Shiite politicians said today that the
American ambassador has told Shiite officials
to inform the Iraqi prime minister that President
Bush does not want him to remain the
country's leader in the next government.
It is the first time the Americans have directly
intervened (besides the bloody invasion)
in the furious debate over the country's top
job, the politicians said, and it is inflaming
tensions between the Americans and some Shiite
leaders.

Dear Bart:
The link you gave in Monday's first 911 post took
me to total911info.com .
From there I took a link to nomomegames.com
or holesintheplanestories.com
which both took me to a Morgan
Reynolds web site.. This web site infected
my computer with something which deleted all
my e-mails, my address book,
my history of web surfing and ruined my ability
to print and send/receive e-mail.
I could not tell you about this until my technician
restored my stuff this morning.
Tech is still investigating but thinks all the
deleted info may have been captured by some outside party.
None of the other users on our server had any
problems.
Our tech was able to trace it to that Morgan
Reynolds site.
I got a feeling they are saving a spot for me
in one of those new detention centers they are building.
Call me paranoid.
I wonder if anyone else had this problem?

Subject: Weinberger
There are deaths, thankfully low in number, that
sometimes evoke the response "good riddance," if not
outright rejoicing. The erasure from the
civilized world of the likes of a Richard Nixon, a Ronald
Ray-gun, and a Wlliam Rehnquist (last year) elicit
such responses. It is like civilization has been
given a shot at survival, and a better, more
humane future.
I feel likewise about Weinberger. TRULY
GOOD RIDDANCE.
There are more loathesome public characters,
vile to the umpteenth power, whose eventual demise
I shall feel energized enough to go celebrate
(Henry Kissinger, Darth Cheney, the Chimp, Scalia
- to name a few) for the sake of human beings
and decency in general

Long Live
The 9/11 Conspiracy!
Anyone care about the unsolved questions?
Link
Excerpt:
You probably already know that much of
what exactly happened on Sept. 11 remains deeply unsettling
and largely unsolved -- or to put another way,
if you don't know all of this and if you fully and blithely
accept the official Sept. 11 story, well, you
haven't been paying close enough attention.
But on this, the third anniversary of the launch
of Bush's illegal invasion of Iraq by way of whoring the tragedy
of Sept. 11 for his cronies' appalling gain,
what you might not know, what gets so easily forgotten in the mists
of time and via the endless repetition of the
orthodox Sept. 11 tale, is the sheer volume, the staggering array of
unanswered questions about just about every single
aspect of Sept. 11 -- the planes, the WTC towers,
the Pentagon, the fires, the passengers and the
cell phone calls and the firefighters and, well, just about everything.
It is, when you look closely, all merely a matter
of how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to go.

Subject: abortion
Yo Bart:
This Jay did a little research on the number of
abortions performed each year.
I started with the premise that no one knows
the real number of abortions
because I doubt that abortion clinics release
the numbers for obvious reasons.
So the next thing I did was to check on the number
of live births. The Census
says that we have 14.14 births per 1000. That
translates to just over 4 million
births per year. It would be incredible that
there is one abortion for every 2 births.
The 2 million figure looks to be made up.

The official story is, of course, that a plane
hit the Pentagon.
It's also official that the plane skidded on
the ground before impact.
Bart have you ever looked closely at the pictures
taken right after it happened?
The grass all the way up to the point of impact
is pristine and green.
Hell, the whole area in front of that side of
the Pentagon is pristine and green.
Further, have you seen the pictures of the Pentagon
after impact, but BEFORE the roof collapsed?
That's a pretty small hole for a giant jet airplane
to be making. And that hole cut through about eight
seriously strong walls, all the while keeping
its same size. And how in the fuck did the plane literally disappear?
An entire airplane vaporizes but that whole wing
of the Pentagon doesn't vaporize? That doesn't wash.
There would have been airplane debris fucking
everywhere near the point of impact.
I also wasn't aware of the overwhelming number
of WTC eyewitnesses who spoke of hearing
multiple explosions going off continuously and
consistently from the time of impact of the first plane
until the collapse of the buildings. I
dunno man....
If the powers that be are willing to massacre
tens of thousands of people halfway across the globe
for their own gain, why not a few thousand right
here in the motherland? I just don't know anymore..

Alex, all we know for sure is that Bush and his thugs are lying.
They might be tiny, white lies to hide the fact that Junior wet his
pants with fear and couldn't
address the nation except on videotape - or they might be complicit

Actually, we should bar the Supreme Court from
appointing our president.
This whole mess started when the Court appointed
Bush in the 2000 presidential election.
He has been hell bent on invading Iraq since
that day. Bush invaded the wrong country.
We were attacked by Saudis not Iraqis.
This war was designed to enrich Bush's campaign
donors, big oil and war profiteers.
It is time to protest Bush at every turn. He
is the by far the worst president ever.

Excerpt:
The Pentagon has once again investigated itself!
And -- have a seat, get the smelling salts, hold all hats
-- the Pentagon has again concluded the Pentagon
did absolutely nothing wrong and will continue to do so.
In this particularly fascinating case, the Pentagon
investigated its own habit of paying people to make up lies
about how well the war in Iraq is going, and
then paying other people to put those lies in the Iraqi media,
thus fooling the Iraqis into thinking everything
in their country is tickety-boo. Well, if we can't fool them,
whom can we fool?

A Madness
for War
Link
Excerpt:
Bush said he invaded Iraq to rid the world of
a madman. It is ever more clearer Bush went mad to start it...
The web spun by Bush has now cost the lives of
2,300 US soldiers, another 200 British and coalition soldiers,
and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians. Iraq
is closer to civil war than stability. Three years later, it is the
United States that is not disarming, with Bush
admitting last week that our troops will be needed there past
his presidency. We took out a madman with madness.
At a minimum, there should be hearings, with Bush
under oath. With any more details like this,
the next step is impeachment.

I took her out for a ride in the beautiful Southern

she asked me a favor during our little day trip,

She wants me to conclude her Eulogy by mentioning
the phrase below:
"I just wanted everyone here to know that
Dick Cheney is an asshole."
I dunno about you, but I think you've got to
really respect an 89 year old woman who wants her
final parting thoughts delivered to her friends
