Lieberman will switch to Republican and delude
himself that he would be a viable Republican
candidate for president.

1) I see the Dems gaining 2 in the Senate and 9 in the house.
2) Further, I see Repug "comedians" (Rushton,
Leno, Hannity, etc.)
getting at least two years
of jokes out of Pelosi's "drapes" comment.
3) Further still, I predict another two years
of a do-nothing all-GOP Congress and the Repugs
using the "you gave the Dems
a chance in 2006" gambit successfully to regain all the seats
they lost and then some in
2008.

A November Surprise set up by Karl Rove.
Attack your adversaries at their strong point
(over whelming majority in House)
and accuse them of your sins (voter machine fraud)
thus for now and ever more
taking the heat off of 2000, 2002, 2004 and making
it a Democratic dishonesty problem.

The Democrats win a three-quarters majority in the House and a two-thirds majority in the Senate.
Impeachment proceedings for both Bush and Cheney
begin on the first day of the new session.
Impeachment passes the house, and in the Senate,
the trial is quick and the verdict is Guilty.
Some terrified Republicans join the Democrats
in that vote.
Bush and Cheney are removed from office and,
after a failed appeal to the Supreme Court,
they're sent to The Hague for trial as war criminals.
Meanwhile, numerous hearings into Republican wrongdoing
and evildoing are underway,
and as a result, huge numbers of the evil bastards
spend the rest of their days breaking rocks in the hot sun.
At the end of the first 100 days of the new Congress,
only 8% of Americans consider themselves
Republicans, and they avoid saying so in public.

They'll retain control of both houses.
The Dems will pick up 3 maybe 4 senatorial seats BUT!!!

The Jackboot right will wipe their brows, smile
warily and say "Phew, that sure was close!!!!"
In the end they will still control the country
long enough to outlaw all opposition.

and it's a heckuva line-up, but pretty easy to
predict...
Rendell v. Swann - Rendell by a long shot... Swann
has little
government experience, but he used to be a pretty
good football player...
Casey v. Santorum - Casey all the way, Ricky boy
is getting desperate
and shrill (hate that guy, can't wait to see
him go down)...
Murtha v. Irey - not even a contest, 32 yrs in
gov't, Marine hero,
vocally anti-Iraq war v. a freakin' 12 yr Washington
County (Pa., where I live)
county commissioner, and not a very well-regarded
one...

Officially my predictions to win the chocolate
are:
The dems pick up 17 house seats and also pick
up 4 senate seats.
Since without hope, we humans often have nothing,
I make these predictions
with a huge amount of hope (and prayers, if I
did that).
However, with the known fact that the BFEE has
everything to lose,
in my rational mind I think these predictions
may be too good to be true.
I just feel that they are GOING TO DO SOMETHING.
What I really would like to hear are your predictions.
