"What has Hillary ever done to deserve this eminence? How could a country
that prides itself on its spirit of equality
and opportunity possibly be led by someone whose ascent owes more to her marriage than to her merits? Who made her queen?" -- The Whore Post Link
Odd that the WaHoPo didn't ask this question
when the dumbest slug in Texas ran eight years ago.
Excerpt: When people wonder how the United States ended
up in today's nightmarish predicament, a big part of the answer
is that the right-wing message machine and the
mainstream U.S. news media distorted reality at key moments about
key people, perhaps most notably Al Gore during
Campaign 2000.
Even now - when the consequences of the news media's
earlier "war on Gore" can be measured in the horrible
death toll that has followed the Bush presidency
- it appears that little has changed. Lies and distortions about
Al Gore remain an easy political commodity to
sell...
Hours before the Nobel Prize announcement, the
Washington Post ran a news story quoting England's High Court
Judge Michael Burton as detecting "nine errors"
in the documentary and asserting that the alleged mistakes
"arise in the context of alarmism and exaggeration
in support of his political thesis."
...but like they did with Michael Moore, they
failed to say what those nine "mistakes" were.
When F-911 came out, right-wing blogs screamed
about "all the lies and mistakes," but never listed any. If they have a case,
why can't they bring it?
And Parry's right - we were traveling Saturday,
and I heard FOX, CNN, ABC, Bloomberg etc
allllllllllllll quoting this obscure judge
that nobody had ever heard of, like he was the be-all and
end-all of political honesty - because it was
super-important to smear Gore.
Also, I failed to grasp why they went to such
lengths to smear him.
Why not say, "Gore
won the Nobel Prize, but who cares?" and
then move on.
No, they spend hours and hours on it, like it
was the biggest story of the month.
Excerpt: So it has come to this. With Clinton leading
Obama in the polls, and with the Republicans in disarray and
polling poorly against Clinton, that is, with
Clinton looking more and more like our next president,
the knives have come out. And it's getting uglier
and uglier. Again.
If her positions on the issues cannot be attacked
(because she's actually quite moderate, and because her
positions are, on the whole, quite sensible,
and because she can defend herself with the best of them),
and if her character cannot be attacked (what
is there that hasn't been said already, what mud that hasn't
already been slung?), then, by Zeus, she'll be
attacked for what she is, that is, her husband's wife.
It's so odd to see a pro-Hillary article publihsed
by anybody, anywhere.
This one was published at http://the-reaction.blogspot.com.
Do you know why it was published at http://the-reaction.blogspot.com
?
Because all the big sites hate her guts to the
Nth degree.
Why can't our 25-point front-runner can't catch
a break from her own party?
Shouldn't somebody be following the money to see who's running this
secret show?
Why do we have to wait for "historians who probably
aren't even born yet"
to write about how correct President Bush was
to go into Iraq but Al Gore
is an instant retard for looking towards the
future where global warming is concerned?

"I have two TVs in my apartment, but neither
of them are high def -- they're just little Sonys. So I don't even have a wife, but I
have to leave home to watch football." -- the poor Pigboy, free to watch

..
"Hang on a minute, folks. I have to check an
e-mail. Just came in. Let's see: it's from my brother saying
he's trying not to be an annoyance." -- the poor Pigboy, fighting that
awful syphilitic fever,
..
"White males are going to look at Mrs. Clinton,
hear one or two sentences, and they're not going to take the chance
of bringing their ex-wife back by making her president." -- His Oinkness, who sees all
women in Hillary, and he hates all women.
I mean, why have
sex with a real woman when you can have sex
with young boys? ..
I wonder, when Rush has sex with underage boys, does he use a condom?
Or is that how he got
the syphilis in the first place?
"Child care workers...have the highest rates
of depression according to a new survey. Doesn't surprise me at all. Working
with kids would make anybody depressed!" -- Poor Rush, he hates kids, too?

Excerpt: Michelle Turner's husband sits in the recliner
with the shades drawn. He washes down his Zoloft
with Mountain Dew. On the phone in the other
room, Michelle is pleading with the utility company
to keep their power on. "Can't you tell them
I'm a veteran?" asks her husband, Troy, who served as
an Army scout in Baghdad and came back with post-traumatic
stress disorder. "Troy, they don't care,"
Michelle says, her patience stretched.
The government's sweeping list of promises to
make wounded Iraq war veterans whole, at least financially,
has not reached this small house in the hills
of rural West Virginia, where one vehicle has already been
repossessed and the answering machine screens
for bill collectors. The Turners have not been making it
on an $860-a-month disability check from the
Department of Veterans Affairs.
Why do people sign up knowing they're going to
be screwed?
Bush traded GI health care for tax cuts, and
the injured soldiers are left to twist in the wind.
But knowing that - why do kids continue to enlist?
I saw on whore NBC that there are 600,000 veterans waiting to get appointments
with doctors.
Why would anybody sign up to get maimed and mentally broken and then
ignored by Uncle Sam?
We ask these guys to charge the machine gun nest, then tell them to
fuck off afterwards?
Don't you have to be flat-out crazy to sign up to be treated this way?
Excerpts: Russian leader Vladimir Putin met his Iranian
counterpart Tuesday and implicitly warned the U.S. not to use
a former Soviet republic to stage an attack on
Iran. He also said nations should not pursue oil pipeline projects
that are not backed by regional powers.
At a summit of the five nations that border the
inland Caspian Sea, Putin said none of the nations' territory should
be used by any outside countries for use of military
force against any nation in the region. It was a clear reference
to long-standing rumors that the U.S. was planning
to use Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic, as a staging ground
for any possible military action against Iran.
"We are saying that no Caspian nation should offer
its territory to third powers for use of force or military aggression
against any Caspian state," Putin said.
A State Department spokesman, Tom Casey, said
the United States is not planning military action against Iran.
Well, they didn't plan anything for Iraq, either,
and that's how we got into so much trouble.
The price of oil is through the roof but Big Oil
has not brought the price back to $3 for regular.
They should have done this months ago.
So according to this all of the reasons they say
they have had to raise gas prices in the past,
because of market jitters, fears in the
Mid East, price per barrel rising.... none of that REALLY
makes any difference as far as I can see here.
There is no way they are keeping the price down
because they are kind hearted.
So they can spare me the sob stories next time.

"The Sanchez criticism raises a very important
question. Are there any current military commanders who share the same concerns but are holding
their tongues? You can be sure there are people who have family member in harm's way who want
an answer to that question sooner rather than later." -- Ed Henry, Link
Excerpt: Following the recent Republican debate on economic
policy in Dearborn, Michigan, CNBC ran a flash poll
where Ron Paul was named the winner with 75 percent
of the vote. As CNBC Managing Whore Allan Wastler
wrote in his patronizing, "An Open Letter to
the Ron Paul Faithful," that the poll was removed because Wastler
hadn't "seen him pull those kind of numbers in
any 'legit' poll. Our poll was either hacked or the target of a campaign.
So we took the poll down."

Excerpt: Crazy attention whore Geraldo Rivera told the
Boston Globe that crazy attention whore Malkin was
"the most vile, hateful commentator I've ever
met It's good she's in D.C. and I'm in N.Y. I'd spit on her
if I saw her." Later, when O'Reilly asked him
if he wanted to say something about it on the show because,
he said, Malkin's "feelings were hurt." (Saying
this he came across, weirdly, as almost grandfatherly and sane.)
Rivera did apologized for his "ungentlemanly"
and "ungallant" words - "I never spit!" he said - but couldn't help
qualifying that he disagreed with everything
Malkin said and basically indicating that he thought she was an asshole.
Then Ann Coulter chimed in and said Geraldo was
an asshole, and furthermore that his overgrown mustache
was full of tortilla chips and Michael Jackson's
love juice.
"One of Hannity's current riffs is that the
Clintons are very vengeful people, and if Hillary is elected, people are warning him that they will send
the IRS after him, etc., etc. He then goes on to recite a list of people harassed and/or destroyed by the
Clintons, which, oddly, includes Ken Starr. Only in rightwing world would Inspector Javert be portrayed
as the victim of relentless Jean Valjean." -- Tom Tomorrow,

> But when Hillary wins the nomination I think
that if she offered Al Gore his old job back as > vice president that he'd be a great VP again.
Man, Bart... I've told you this several times
already and you haven't run it:
Gore will NEVER be Hillary's VP. He's not
up to 8 more years as second banana to a Clinton
only to run for prez in '16 (are you kidding
me?). No, I think that this is how it will shake down:
VP - Obama (so that after America has been "ready"
for a [shriek!] woman president, they can evolve and be
"ready" for a [gasp!] black president.
Why does your media keep asking "is America ready for a ____ prez?" so
much?*
Secretary of State - Bill Clinton.
He and Secretary of Defense Wes Clark can go
a LONG way to fixing the Monkey's international mess.
You merge the departments of Energy and EPA (elevated
to cabinet level) and THAT is where you put Gore.
Phase out the power of Big Oil. Rescind
all those back-room deals Cheney made with the energy sector.
This guy just won a Nobel Prize, he's shifting
to a different stage in how he's approaching his life's work.
HERE is where he can make a difference doing
his shit. Leave the vp spot for a future prez.
Since she's outed, might as well make Plame head
of the CIA. And get rid of all that "homeland security"
and "drug czar" nonsense too. Oh,
and the kicker? Henry Waxman as Attorney General; he'll go after
these crooked bastards and their long list
of crimes like a bloodhound on speed.
You put the best people in the positions in which
they will do their best. THAT is what a real leader does.
Surrounds himself (oops! herself) with
the key people for the job (as opposed to cronies).
Greetings from Mexico.

(Oh, and you put Kucinich in Health and Human
Services or something similar)
I don't know if Perkel was serious about the VP slot for Gore,
but it would surprise me if he had any interest in that position.
I think I was first to suggest we make Gore the Secretary of the Environment.
And how do we get Obama to accept the VP spot?
First, it makes him a major player in our Demo future, but bigger than
that, we could charge him with
doing whatever it takes to level the playing field so you don't have
to have $300M to run for President.
We can't change anything until we get power, but the ultra-left
can't seem to figure than out.
They want us to run a broke nobody against the GOP's billion dollar
smear machine - that won't work.
So we ask the lefties to get behind a winner and we look to Obama to
change the future.
"I was never really willing to pay the price
that I knew had to be paid. I would really have to strain hard to come up with something I
wanted to say ten times a day for the next year of my life when I knew that talking about
the really important stuff would not get me anywhere. You have to have a great desire to be President,
and I never had the desire to do that.'" -- Fraud Thompson, 2003, Link
Excerpt: I heard her say that she would end the Iraq war
immediately upon taking office. Lots of heads snapped up
when she said that (and there was plenty of applause,
even a little whooping) and the very politically plugged in
person sitting next to me remarked that the statement
was "completely new". She went on to say that the troops
had already done everything they had been asked
to do: got rid of Saddam, created a situation where elections
could take place, surged to create political
stability so the elected Iraqi government could do some legislating
and work out a political solution (which she
said they have not done) and that it was unfair to ask our troops
to stay in Iraq and "play referee to an Iraqi
civil war." She said there is no military solution.
I'm not a Hillary watcher, so somebody in the
comments may want to contradict that, but it certainly is the
first time I've heard that and is very different
than what I heard her say in the last debate.
Horse hockey!
In the last debate, they asked for a guarantee
that all troops would be home at the end of her first term.
She can't guarantee that any more than she can
guarantee it won't rain Friday, but with the swipe of a pen,
she can convert our forces from hand-to-hand
street combat to an advisory role which would take them
off "patrolling the streets of Baghdad" duty.
Maybe she'll take my advice and ring Baghdad with
easy-to-defend positions with minimal loss of life.
That way, the killing of 100 soldiers a month
would end while possibly stablizing the region and keeping
Iran in their own back yard.
Who invades a country without securing their borders?
Fascist bastards who must have chaos to steal
a country's assets, that's who.
Excerpt: Pelosi has admitted knowing for several years
about Bush's eavesdropping on us without a court warrant.
She said she was briefed on it when she was ranking
Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
But was she told that the illegal surveillance
began well before 9/11?
The eavesdropping abuses began as soon as Bush
came into office - WELL BEFORE 9/11.
Now we learn that the president, vice president,
and CIA director - not to mention the credulous crowd
around Nancy Pelosi - have all been regurgitating
a king-sized whopper aimed at providing "justification"
for the National Security Agency program.
I fail to see why Nancy Pelosi is wasting time
trying to pass a congressional resolution about what happened
in Turkey 90 years ago. Even if a million Armenians
were slaughtered in World War 1 nearly a century ago
why should we be dealing with it now when all
those who committed this genocide are all dead?:
Turkey could pass a resolution that what America
did to the Cherokee Indians was genocide.
What difference does it make now?
You would think that there are plenty of issues
that she could be working on in the here and now
like children's health insurance and ending the
genocides in Iraq and Darfur.
I think Pelosi is trying to show that she is even
dumber than Bush is
and I think it's time Democrats impeach her so
we can get someone in to impeach Bush.
