Hillary Clinton's Unspoken Vulnerability

Since they left the White House, Bill and Hillary Clinton have been under the protection of the Secret Service.
Records are maintained showing where they go and, to an extent, whom they meet.
Ordinarily, those records are kept as closely held secrets, but theoretically at least, Bush – with his expansive
view of his powers as “unitary executive” – could gain access to them, either formally or informally.
For Bush, the temptation will be strong to use whatever means he has at his disposal to ensure that his
successor continues his “war on terror” policies and doesn’t authorize serious investigations into controversies
such as torture and wiretapping.
If she wins the nomination, any information, especially some tidbit that suggests sexual improprieties,
could spread like wildfire through the media landscape. A scandal would prove especially devastating
if backed by real information, like what might be available in Secret Service records.
It hurts to read Robert Parry as he speculates about Hillary's extra-marital sex life.
I'm so old, I remember when Parry had the most important site on the entire Internet.
I know he's hurting for money (who isn't?) but is he that desperate for cash?
Has Parry learned what I've known for a long time - that there's BIG money in attacking Hillary?
What if he stuck to the issues and left Hillary's sex life out of consortiumnews.com?
Reading this story, there's a between-the-lines feeling that he knows something.
But who on planet Earth could be so scandalous that evidence that Hillary met
with this man (or woman, as I think Parry is suggesting) could de-rail her march to the White House?
Parry says: "Already, new rumors about the Clintons’ marriage have begun to circulate on the Internet."
I haven't seen any of these rumors, have you? Can you send me the links if you know of any?
I am disappointed in Bob Parry.

Kucinich to Bring Up Cheney Impeachment

Dennis Kucinich is planning to make a procedural move on the House floor Tuesday that would
call up a vote on his resolution to impeach that bastard Cheney.
In the resolution, which was introduced in April and has 21 co-sponsors, Kucinich accuses Cheney

again in order to start a war with Iran.
"The vice president is cherry-picking intelligence and selectively using facts in a manner that does not

unnecessary war with Iran is to impeach the vice president, the lead cheerleader of the war. The
Constitution gave Congress the power to impeach. Congress must use its power to restrain the

because he answered the UFO question like a newbie at his first debate ever.

Bart, you quoted Randi Rhodes as saying:

That quote implies....if there is a ticking time bomb...we torture the most likely suspect until we find it.
If I remember correctly..she was talking about....if there was a ticking time bomb...and we have the guy
that did it...not a suspect...but the guy that did it....she would torture. She then went on to say that torture
should still be illegal and in the "ticking time bomb" scenario there would always be someone who would
step up and interrogate aggressivley with torture knowing full well what they were doing was illegal and
they would more than likely face consequences for those actions.

Screwing with Rudy
This is a great idea I had years and years ago, but it's still good and would work today.
If somebody does this, and makes the national news, I'll buy you a car.
At a football game, there's a guy on the sidelines with a pole and on top of the pole there are
numbers that he flips for each down. When there's a first down, he flips the numbers until
a giant "1" is showing so the quarterback can keep track of the downs. Let's say the team
gets five yeards on the next play, so the fella turns the numbers and now it says "2."
OK, so here's what we do to Rudy:
You go to one of his speeches with your pole made up with more than numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Each time Rudy says "9-11," you flip the numbers like the guy at the football game.
At first, you probably won't even be noticed, but as time goes by, and Rudy says "9-11"
6-8 times, people might start to notice. Pretty soon, as the numbers get up to, say, twenty,
the people might start to take notice and they might even start laughing.
Joe Biden had a great line about Rudy, "All he ever says is one noun, one verb and 9-11."
Rudy thinks he can "9-11" himself into the White House and I say he can't.
Pretty soon people will start laughing every time he says "9-11,"
so why don't we start them laughing right now?

Women need to rally to support Hillary and send her money because there are men, men like Tim Russert,
who have the temerity to ask her questions during a debate. If there are six male rivals on stage and two male
moderators and heaven knows how many men manning lights and boom mikes, the one woman should have
the right to have it two ways. It’s simple math, really, an estrogen equation.
If she could become a senator by playing the victim after Monica,
surely she can become president by playing the victim now.
First, whore Dowd would give ten years off her life to see Hillary defeated - it's what she lives for.
Second, if Hillary is as bad as Dowd claims, why did she have to fabricate reasons to dislike her?
Have you heard one person say, "How dare Russert ask Hillary a question?"
The problem, and Dowd knows this but she must lie because she's a whore, is Russert
asked Hillary 14 of the 30 questions (someone else's math, I didn't see it) and many of those
questions were attack or "gotcha" questions like he uses on his lilttle whore TV show.
But saying, "Why did Russert concentrate on Hillary half the night?" isn't good enough for Dowd,
so she makes shit up. She always has. How typical of the New York Whore Times.
And when did Hillary "play the victim" concerning Monica? I'll bet Hillary has never
mentioned Monica by name in public, so what was she supposed to do?
Was she supposed to carry a sign that said, "I'm not a victim?"
Maybe a less-than-thrilled-with-Hillary reader could answer that question: How could Hillary have
signaled to the world that she was not a victim concerning the Monica situation and remember,
SHE had nothing to do with Monica - obviously, but Dowd wants to punish her for HIS mistakes.

feel that voting in the 2008 election will be more important than in previous years. And an overwhelming
majority of women who are registered to vote say they plan to go to the polls. But most of those voters

over the treatment of Senator Clinton in last week’s debate, the campaigns are nearly all being waged as if

I wonder if there are as many undecided voters as people say.
I think a lot of women are planning to vote for Hillary but they keep that to themselves
because they don't want their husbands whining about that decision for the next 51 weeks.

Subject: What's so "conspiracy theory" about believing in UFOs?
I was stationed for a time at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, where "Area 51" is (allegedly) located ... .
At times, I would catch a glimpse of something flying that I could not recognize as a "bread-n-butter"
combat or support aircraft that I daily worked on or saw flying on or around the airfield.
Technically, to me they were UFOs.
So did I immediately presume that there were little green men sitting at the flight controls?
For the most part, I just presumed that the "Skunkworks" was trying out its latest product.
As it is, D. Kucinich also seems to be familiar with UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS.
I never heard him mention space aliens, or interstellar travel, or Klingons ... whatever.

But Dennis could've answered that better. He could've said,
"Yes, I've seen flying objects that I couldn't identify, but I've never met an alien."
In 1998, we got as close to Area 51 as we could and we saw TONS of aircraft doing things
that aircraft can't do. I'm old, I've seen planes flying for 50 years and until that night, I'd never
seen an aircraft stop, or turn on a dime - it was amazing to watch. And there were dozens of them.
There were so many, I'd say, "Look over there," while Mrs Bart was saying, "No, look over here!"
