Taped Voices May Not Have Come From Iranian Boats

Just two days after the U.S. Navy released the eerie video of Iranian speedboats
swarming
around American warships, which featured a chilling threat in English,
the Navy is now

that the voice on the tape could have come from the shore or
from another ship.
Or it could've come from the US Navy, trying to provoke an attack.
The near-clash occurred over the weekend in the Strait of Hormuz. On the U.S. recording,
a voice can be heard saying to the Americans, "I am coming to you. You will explode
after a few minutes."
The Navy never said where the voices came from, but many were left with

So - they got caught lying.

Today, the spokesperson for the U.S. admiral in charge of the Fifth Fleet clarified that
the threat may have come from the Iranian boats, or it may have come from somewhere else.
So why didn't you tell the truth in the first place?

But this is my job, so I sighed up - and what happened?
I get to a SECOND page with NOTHING but "Give me Money."
I expected some info on the splash page, but when I didn't get it, I agreed to jump

So far, Barack's web page is 0-for-2.
Then I went to Her page and I was flooded with useful info - without hoops.
On just the first page, there are NINE button's with dropdown menues,

offered me an opportunity to contribute. I thought it was well-done and classy.
Then I saw videos and blog entries and testimonials - they have Hillary caps for sale
and bumper stickers and you can sign up for text updates -
all the things Obama should
have on his site, but apparently they are very stingy with info and they want my money.
They won't even let you in to read until you surrender your privacy.
That is, trust me, a hueueueueueueuege mistake.
Looking back, Obama's site is so lame, I wonder if I have the wrong address.

With the exception of Bill Richardson, who just

I believe all of Hillary's
opponents only have experience in the Senate.
Hillary has seen the government from the Governor's
Mansion point of view,
the Senate's point of view, and
the White House's point of view, and I'm pretty sure
that when she was First Lady she was a bit more
involved in what was going on than,
say, Nancy Reagan.
Experience like that - not to mention her husband -
gives her a ready insight into
how government works

quite a few missteps to learn the hard way.
I agree - we can play with other candidates later on,
but right now
the stakes are too high to take a chance
on someone who is untested.

As a woman who watched the "Break Down" on the news, here's what I saw:
I saw an exhausted woman who was just tired of trying to make her point for the
millionth time. It was nothing more than pure exhaustion. Right now, the Repubs
and the Dems are all sounding a lot alike using the "change" meme, and because
our election seasion is just too damn long we're not really hearing anything new.
How many times can any candidate state their position -- until we start thinking that
we need to hear something new. Now, candidates are stuck reacting to current events
such as the death of Bhutto, (or not, as in Huckabee's ball-drop on the NIE report).
However, in the very end, since we're been hearing the candidates say the same things
over and over and over again for a year, it will be easier to remember which ones had
the beef, and which ones were talking a lot.
I'm not a Hillary fan but I'll take your truce offer. I know she'll knife-fight to win.
It's too bad for me, because when she opens her mouth, I can't hear anything.
I don't feel an ounce of hope that she'll help the poor or even the middle class.
Yes, I want a pony, but as always, I'll deal with whichever ass wins.

about the Clintons every day. THOSE writers are the ones I call the haters.
I will happily support ANY Democrat against ANY Republican in this race.
But, there are concerns about every candidate that we need to consider.
If you close your eyes to that in your desperation to get YOUR candidate
into the White House, then you do a disservice to ALL your readers.

had said she was sexually assaulted by a senior officer but that the investigation had gone sour.
The woman, a lance corporal, made the allegation to her stepmother, who also told investigators
that her stepdaughter was bipolar and had a history of compulsive lying. (Thanks, Mom!)
The documents state Naval investigators had struggled to investigate the woman's allegations
because of inconsistencies in her account. Still, the court papers said the anticipated birth of the
baby "might provide evidentiary credence to charges she lodged with military authorities that
she was sexually assaulted by a senior military person.
Last I heard, lying didn't make you pregnant.
If it did, Rush would have 1,000,000 children.
