"Some argue that blacks should vote for Clinton because Bill was good to us.
That's not true. He did the same thing to us that he did to Monica Lewinsky." --Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor at Obama's Chicago church, Link
But Partor Jeremiah, why did you perform oral sex on Bill Clinton?
If you're going to make a that charge - you need to show us your blue dress.
Seriously, when the founder of BET alludes to the fact of Obama's cocaine use,
Bush's whore media calls that "the politics of personal destruction" to prop up
Obama so he can get the nomination.
When Obama's pastor lands a low blow (pun intended) that's OK?
Excerpt:
McCain and Hillary appear to have suffered little political damage for lining up behind Bush.
Clinton, who was a late convert to an anti-war position, now vows to “start withdrawing”
U.S. troops by early spring 2009.
Putting that in quotes is another way for Parry to call her a liar.
It looks like a gamble whether Clinton would press ahead with her “hope” of bringing
“nearly all the troops out by the end of” 2009 – or revert to the neocon-lite position that
she embraced from 2002 until the start of the Democratic campaign in 2007.
How many times can Parry call her a liar in one column?
And did he ever brand Kerry a "neocon" for voting "with Bush?"
And did he ever brand Biden a "neocon" for voting "with Bush?"
And did he ever brand Edwards a "neocon" for voting "with Bush?"
Selective anger tells me it's manufactured anger.
Might Hillary be to Bush on Iraq what Nixon was to LBJ on Vietnam,
a President who continued a war for years while gradually moving to wind it down?
ha ha
Maybe Hillary will be the Flying Squirrel to Bush's Bullwinkle.
See how stupid that sounds?
Bob Parry is desperate to spin Hillary as the evil, wicked witch.
Ironically, the politician taking the most heat on the Iraq War today
is Barack Obama, who opposed the war resolution in 2002.
That's not true - he didn't have a vote because he wasn't in the game.
He claims he has opposed the war all along - that's an easy claim to make
when you're not tied to a vote that holds you accountable.
(Obama) has come under harsh criticism from former President Bill Clinton and
Sen. Clinton for not consistently joining with the staunchest war opponents in the Senate.
Is that a typo?
If Obama is NOT consistently joining "staunch war opponents,"
then his opposition to the war IS a fairy tale.
The guy who taught me the finance business used to say: "That guy would rather climb a tree and tell a lie
than stay on the ground and tell the truth."
Why does Bob Parry climb a tree whenever Hillary's name comes up?
It's one thing to have an opinion, it's one thing to have a favorite,
but taking the time and expending the energy and risking a steller reputation
by
climbing a tree every day to fabricate horseshit is something else entirely.
Bob's turned into Giuliani - all he can say is a noun and a verb and "Hillary."
I'm so old, I remember when Parry used to write about Bush's crimes.
Now, Hillary's "future crimes" have hijacked one of our best fighters.
By my count, seven of the last eight Parry columns have been all Hillary.
Parry has fallen into a rut and he's unable or unwilling to get out of it.
Do you think the real Bob Parry will ever come back?
Or is the I-hate-Hillary Parry the best we'll get from now on?
"It's a great time to be a Democrat. Even though those boys
have been getting tough on her lately, she can handle it." -- Bill Clinton, calling Obama "boy?" Link
Is this where they got that phoney charge that Bill called Obama "boy?"
If I was an Obama supporter, I'd be angry with them for lying to me.
I'd also be angry that they played the race card against Bill when none existed.
Would a friend lie to you and claim the Clintons are racists?
Question: If you love Obama, you don't mind being lied to?
Excerpt:
Under pressure from feminist groups and his own bosses at MSGOP, Chris the Screamer
apologized yesterday for remarks about Hillary Clinton that he now admits sounded "nasty."
For 10 days, the Douche host had doggedly insisted he was just reciting a bit of history
when he said on the air that "the reason she's a U.S. senator, the reason she's a candidate
for president, the reason she may be a front-runner is her husband messed around."
But protests against those and other remarks by Matthews reached a peak last week
when the presidents of such groups as the National Organization for Women, Feminist
Majority and National Women's Political Caucus sent a joint letter of complaint to
NBC News President Steve Capus.
Matthews defended the substance of his hateful remarks bBut, he said, "was it fair to
imply that Hillary's whole career depended on being a victim of an unfaithful husband?
No. And that's what it sounded like I was saying."
El Douche has been a professional writer for 40 years - he knew what he was saying.
On TV, the most outrageous ass gets the viewers and Matthews is a greedy whore.

Random thought
Last week, when Obama accused Bill of calling his candidacy "a fairy tale," nobody told Obama to knock it off, nobody told him "You need to chill," nobody told him he was "splitting the party with devisive rhetoric."
Maybe that's an example of having the press cover (temporarily) for you?
Obama supporters need to remember that if he's successful at stopping Hillary,
the fawning press is suddenly going to grow teeth and tear him limb-by-limb.
All those FOX News smiles will turn to daggers and they'll draw real blood.
Plus, as of this date, Obama has still not been vetted - why are we waiting?
Should we to wait until he has the nomination to find the skeletons?

The Republican Party prides itself on order. So why is its party bordering on chaos?
One explanation was evident in the candidates' debate in South Carolina on Jan. 10.
The six cavemen cited Reagan 34 times; they mentioned Bush once.''
The Republicans are trying to recapture a past while running away from the present.
That is challenging for a party that values good organization and heirs-apparent.
"It is tough enough after your party has been in power for eight years,'' says Stephen Hess.
"But it's really tough when you have a president this unpopular and a party that is
unraveling, having a hard time figuring out what it is all about.''
For the first time since Ford battled Reagan's two faces all the way to the convention
in 1976, there isn't a clear front-runner after the initial rounds. It will be surprising if
McCain, Romney and at least one other candidate don't slug it out well into the summer.
They love Reagan because he's not Nixon and he's not Bush.
Obama goes to a the editorial board of a Republican paper and his handlers
tell him to say something nice about St Ronnie and he does his little pander
and gets their endorsement for the Dems primary.
Then in the debate he cutely says he didn't say Reagans policies were good.
Explain to me how this is transcending politics?
It seems to me he's playing the game like everyone else.
(withheld)
you nailed it on the head again. So why are you suddenly being flooded
by Obama-backers who dare to question your Democratic allegiance?
We Lefties in Australia are still floating on Cloud Nine (remember - our rotten Right
got a thrashing and are now incapable of running the local Dog Pound) AND it is
precisely because we ran a Left-Centrist candidate who was acceptable to the greater
majority of politically-naive voters - just like you advocate! Our beloved PM Rudd
knew how and when to attack the Rightwing smear machine, proving the candidate
with this pugilist skill in modern media-world wins.
Hey, like you, I don't give a flying fig who the Dems finally nominate,
as long as they can take down a Repug... and that's gotta be Hillary.
Your 'principled' correspondents have not learnt the lesson that us old men lost a
lot of sleep over - a fractured, sac-less Left that disregards typical Joe-voter
immediately hands the reigns of power to the voracious RaptorRight AGAIN!
Jeez, imagine losing to those potentials...
Pres.Huckabee - you guys are kidding, right?
Keep the faith - you have been sticking to your opinion for years and
I haven't
seen
you stumble yet. Now, let's rush you in to the Dems inner sanctum. They need you!
Excerpt: It's a stunning thing to watch. Right now, the various spurts of venom aimed at Hillary
and Obama from conservative pundits and politicos are, at best, scattershot and convulsive,
with only MSNBC's Chris Matthews proving himself to be a consistent blowhard jackass
in his relentless slamming of Hillary by claiming that she only made it this far due to
adultery-survivor sympathy.
Hey, Chris? 2001 called.
It wants its puerile, sexist analysis back. Thank you.
Washington is still very much an inbred old-boy's network, so deeply entrenched in
ancient male power structures and so drunk on stagnant machismo and so poisoned by
the Christian right's woman-in-her-place mentality, it will require a couple more decades
and a few hundred more dead southern congressmen before the innate sexism finally
fades to a tolerable scar.
Damn, Mark Morford rocks - and he doesn't climb trees!.
"This is a memo from Obama's campaign listing all of Bill Clinton's
alleged racist remarks - there isn't one about him calling Obama 'boy'.
If he had, I'm sure that would have been number one on this list." -- Sorry, our attribution on this was wrong,
Bart, when Hillary is elected -- just watch how the Republicans who formerly
drooled over the Unitary Executive, signing statements and Executive Privilege
do a 180 degree turn! They'll be doing it for all the wrong reasons, of course,
but just watch how important the balance of power becomes again. Bizarre.
Chookie
She should sign a law that says the next president - in 2012 - goes
back to
the limited power that Clinton 41 had.
We don't need a president who can
issue signing statements and break
whatever
laws he wants. We also don't need a president who can kidnap
and imprison and
torture and murder anybody he wants on a whim. We also don't need a president
hell bent on snooping into everyone's e-mails, snail mail, bank accounts and phone
conversations but I want them to have to live under a Democratic president
with
that power for at least one term so they can be a little nervous with each
call made, with each
e-mail sent and with each check written so they can
remember why the Founding fathers said we needed a Constitution.
Hillary's slumlord comment last night?
The black guy from CNN (Joe Johns?) said after the debate that this was "a serious charge that had been buzzing around political circles for weeks,"
But since the MSM wants Obama to win, they sat on the story all this time.
Remember how they helped Gingrich the same way?
Johns says the Chicago newspapers have been all over this, yet the national
media has a "See no evil" policy towards Obama so we haven't heard of it.
Johns also said Obama's "Oh, that's nothing" dismissal of the charges won't do
because, at least back in Chicago, this is considered a hot story that won't go away.
Gee, I remember something about a land deal the Clintons were involved in.
Did Bush's whore media cover that up like they're doing for Obama?
Mr. Osburn is unfortunately not a singular exception. Sometimes I really have to check
the address window to be certain that I didn't accidentally stumble onto a freeper site
when I read comments like his and this happens so often that I'm apprehensive if the
Democrats will be able to pull it together this time.
Are the good years of the Clinton administration so soon forgotten in spite of the
nightmare we are in now?
As for you Bart, stick to your guns. You are doing everything right.
Some people just don't want to understand!
Thom
Thom, Republicans stick together whereas the Dems are quick to stab their own.
Here's something I read on thismodernworld.com .
Even if Hillary was able to claim Bill’s experience as her own, what is there to brag about?
NAFTA? Welfare reform? Dont Ask, Don’t Tell? The Communications Decency Act?
Easing media ownership laws? Defense of Marriage Act?
(They act like life under Bill Clinton could not have been worse,
and they say that AFTER seven years of the Bush Disasters.)
If she wants to run on her husband’s record, then it’s worth pointing out that the
Clinton Administration wasn’t the progressive paradise that she’s promising.
You see that?
Hillary's running against the Left's perception of "a progressive paradise."
Reagan used to say, "Half a loaf of bread is better than nothing."
Democrats say, "We want a pony," meaning half a loaf won't do, 3/4 won't do, 90% won't do.
If we can't get the whole loaf, we'll let the Fascist bastards ruin the world.
The anti-Paris Hilton fever has lessened, I suppose, but she's probably still
the most
hated woman in America. There's no logical reason for the country
to hate Paris with
such a passion so hot and bothered that ALL the cable news
channels went live with their
wall-to-wall "Paris Hatefest 2007" that caused a
nation to rise up and DEMAND that the young lady be put behind bars because,
...because we just f-ing hate her f-ing guts, that's why.
I'll bet if you lined up 1,000 Paris Hilton-haters, 999 never met her,
yet their hatred is very real, even if they can't explain why they hate her.
Maybe people just need someone to focus their hate on.
Paris Hilton became America's "hate vessel."
So if there's a "hate vessel," it figures there's a "love vessel," someone in whom
America
has invested all their love, even if 999 out of 1,000 lovers never
met the
man and have no
reason to love him and they can't explain why
they love him
- they just do. It makes no sense to me, but there it is, right in front of our noses.
They are ready to give the smooth-talking stranger anything he wants
even if
it means throwing some old friends under the bus. That makes no sense to me.
People see themselves in Obama, they love him, they need him, they can't
live without him but they can't explain why - they just want somebody to love.
Is there any room for logic here?
We're about to give someone unlimited power - should it be an unknown?
Besides his claim that he's always been against the war, who is Obama?
Why did Obama get your vote and not Dennis Kucinich or John Edwards,
two people
about whom we know so much more than the new guy?
I have nothing against Obama - how could I? I don't know him.
I guess we'll have our answers soon.
February 6th can't get here quick enough for me.

Making coded appeals to white racism is nothing new for Huckabee. Indeed, well before
he was a nationally known political star, Huckabee nurtured a relationship with America's
largest white supremacist group, the Council of Conservative Citizens. The extent of his
interaction with the racist group is unclear, but this much is known: he accepted an invitation
to speak at the group's annual conference in 1993 and ultimately delivered a videotaped
address that was "extremely well received by the audience."
Descended from the White Citizens Councils that battled integration in the Jim Crow South,
including at Arkansas' Little Rock High School, the Council (or CofCC) has been designated
a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In its "Statement of Principles," the CofCC declares, "We also oppose all efforts to mix
the races and to force the integration of the races."
After eight years of racist, Fascist dogs in the White House,
could we try something different this year?
