"The media has been cheering every time Obama
smiles. But, Republicans know Hillary will be much more difficult to defeat
because she has been tested and she has been vetted. They are hoping the Democrats
blow it again and nominate Obama. If they do, McCain can walk into the White
House without putting up his umbrella. Obama cannot
beat McCain, especially if there is any type of
incident involving national security. Knowing Bush &
Cheney like I do, you can bet your life there will be
a national security incident before November." -- polcomm,

Excerpt: McCain is again appealing to the right wingers
in the GOP. Look who appears over
McCain's shoulder as he says, "I will appoint
judges that strictly interpret the constitution
of the United States of America and do not legislate
from the bench." (That's code for
McCain appointing anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-civil
rights far-right activist judges.)
So, who is looking over McCain's shoulder as he
calls for right-wing judges? Kissyface.
Now, we all know that Lieberman loves the Iraq
war and wants another war in Iran.
Whatever. But Kissyface still wants the press,
and the public, to believe that he's a
"moderate Democrat." Well, moderate Democrats
don't support having arch-conservative
judges on the court who will overturn Roe v.
Wade and oppose civil rights and civil liberties.
For Lieberman to stand idly by while McCain uses
his name to push for the overturning of
such rights would be unconscionable in a moderate
Republican, let alone a moderate Democrat.
Shame on Connecticut for saddling Democrats with
that right-wing Kissyface.
"If Hillary wins, she will have done so against
the insurmountable weight of 16 years of being the target of misogny
and hatred that have focused into a narrative that has also been appropriated
by many of the "left" to take her down -- and certainly by the media." -- Jane Hamsher, Link
The Obama camp ACTS like they want to help, but
this is another trap.
When you click on that link, they asks for your
address, which makes sense,
but they
refuse to give the polling address unless I first give my name, my e-mail, my phone
number etc etc etc.
I'm insulted by this brazen attempt to steal my
personal information.
Obama the spammer? A different kind of politician?
This is NOT how to change things in Washington
- by setting traps
to get my info so they can bombard me with smei-true
Hillary stories.
They PRETEND they wants to help with some much-needed
info
(we moved since the last vote, so I don't know
where my polling place is)
then they tries to recruit me like I'm a shaven
headed sheep with a ponytail he can yank.
Shame, shame, shame on The Obama camp.
Your attempt to steal my personal info FAILED.
Excerpt: Piggy Pigboy has been relentless in his criticism
of McCain, prompting suggestions that
he may have to soften his stance if Grandps wins
the nomination and faces off against
Hillary or Obama. But if that happens, Limbaugh
said he'd rather see the Democrats win.
"If I believe the country will suffer with either
Hillary, Obama or McCain, so let the
Democrats take the hit . . . rather than a Republican
causing the debacle," he said.
"And I would prefer not to have conservative
Republicans in the Congress paralyzed
by having to support, out of party loyalty, a
Republican president who is not conservative."
When it comes to the McCain mutiny, Limbaugh has
plenty of company. Laura Ingraham
says, "There is no way in hell I could vote for
McCain." Sean Hannity regularly rips McCain.
And Ann Coulter, (R-Scumette of the Earth) says
she's vote Hillary before McCain.
Interesting...
McCain isn't Fascist-dog enough for the right-wing
blowhards
and Hillary isn't left-wing enough for the Kos/Arianna
crowd.
Subject: Obama's
bad choice for Foreign Policy Advisor
Hi Bart,
I supported Hillary until she made some off the
wall comment about Vladimir Putin
... then I wrote you an Email and said that I
wasn't going to support her anymore.
I've since read a lot of commentary about this
remark she made and I have come to
the conclusion that it was taken out of context
how it was reported and she was merely
blathering for some kind of crowd where those
kind of remarks go down well.
So, after giving careful consideration to this
I am going today to vote here in Moscow
for her as the Democratic candidate.
I have to also say that I have been looking at
Obama's choice of Zbigniew Brzezinski
to probably be his foreign policy "overseer".
This is the worst possible decision that the
young man from Illinois could ever make.
Brzezinski is one of the most evil men on the
planet right up there with Kissinger and other
very unlikable villians of our recent past.
I can't stress enough how inherently evil Brzezinski
is so I will never support Obama,
although other things about him are appealing.
I will support Hillary's campaign here among the
Ex pat community in Moscow.
That's all for now my main man and keep swinging
that big hammer of yours.
Pashupati
I've heard that Brzezinski has some crazy anti-Russian
policies,
but I never looked into it because I don't think
he'll win the primary.
CLINTON VS. OBAMA TONIGHT ON AAR'S SUPERBOWL OF PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES!
Listen to our Special Coverage Tonight, 8p-2a,
with Boxer, Villaraigosa, Hart,
Franken, Shrum,
Huffington,
and AAR Hosts.
Yes, tune in to hear the AAR staff (and Arianna)
hurl racial slurs at Hillary! Listen to Randi Rhodes tell us how much she
dislikes Hillary. Listen to Ed Schultz tell us how much he dislikes
Hillary. Listen to Rachel Maddow tell us how much she
dislikes Hillary. Listen to Gary Hart tell us how much he dislikes
Hillary. Listen to Bob fucking Shrum tell us how much
he dislikes Hillary.
What could be more fun than listening to a gang of Obama supporters
slur Hillary for six hours - I just can't wait. Who's got the
popcorn?
Did you watch Meet the Butt-plug last Sunday?
It was the same thing.
Hillary-hater Tim the Whore held a round table with Hillary-hater
Mike Murphy and Hillary-hater Bob Shrum and Hillary-hater Mary Matalin
with James Carville
trying to get a word in to defend her against all those racial slurs.
One of them would tell a lie about Hillary, or make some horseshit
prediction
and then the other three would high-five each other and giggle and
cackle with glee
like they do when they'll telling big Clinton lies on FOX. It
made me want to vomit.
I'm so old, I remember when we ALL used to complain how the media was
all-Fascist all the time. It still is, but the Fascists
hate Hillary so they flood the
airwaves with vicious and untrue racial slurs in an attempt to defeat
her.
Nothing has changed.
This We-love-Obama ploy is just the whore media's latest attempt to
stop the Democrats.
Wish I wasn't the only guy who saw thru this charade.
Note: I'm not saying AAR is Fascist, they just love Obama so
much that they're willing
to entertain and re-examine and re-tell every slur or false story that
is hurled at the Clintons
while constantly explaining that they're actually not committed to
any candidate - PLEASE!.
Excerpt: Michelle Obama probably will not be the first
person to jump on the Hillary
bandwagon if her husband loses the Democratic
presidential nomination.
That's not to say that she wouldn't work for whoever
becomes the eventual
Democratic nominee, but she indicated that if
Barack doesn't win, she'd have to
take a closer look at Clinton before coming up
with an assist.
"I'd have to think about that. I'd have to think
about policies, her approach, her tone,"
she said in an interview Monday morning on ABC's
"Good Whores America."
"You know, everyone in this party is going to
work hard for whoever the nominee is.
We're all working for the same thing. Our
goal is to make sure that the person in the
White House is going to take this country in
a different direction. Barack is the only
person who can really do that," she said.
They're all for backing the Demo nominee, ...as long as Obama is the
nominee?

"Obama is a natural politician who connects
with people as Hillary just doesn't. Let's go with the charismatic candidate this
time. Let's go with the candidate voters feel some passion about. Let's say
goodbye to the Clintons..." -- Katha Pollit, Link
Great idea - let's say goodbye to our only double winners since World
War II.
I would like a link, or a reference to when Donna
Brazile made the comment
about the Clinton's being racists that you posted
in quotes. I've know the woman
for a while now and I will need proof of that
comment.
Otherwise, keep the hammer swinging. I admire
your loyalty and tenacity when
it comes trying to help Mrs. Clinton win the
nomination. I believe that you believe
that she is the best candidate the Democrats
could put up to win in November.
It takes balls to stand up to the changing winds
of politics. (You obviously have big ones.)
But remember we are all in this together and calling
each other names isn't going
to help us heal our wounds and work on putting
our country back together.
No one is perfect, so we have to work with what
we have.
I hope you will join me in shouting "Go Democrats!!
(and get off your
asses right now!) from now until November.
Peace,
billy
Billy, I don't have a link - I saw/heard it myself.
She was on CNN and she was fuming, saying things like,
"Bill Clinton should be ashamed, playing
the race card like that." The fact that it never happened seems lost on her.
Plus, she never said what Bill's "crime" was, she didn't need to
because we all know how those Clintons are.
You don't get on worldwide TV and slur your president that way.
Maybe she took it back (not to my knowledge) but treachery like that
is unforgiveable.
It forever soured me on Brazile.
The stab-in-the-back is a Demo Specialty.
Excerpt: "Yesterday it was Limbaugh vs. Donovan McNabb,
Limbaugh vs. Michael J. Fox.
Before that it was Limbaugh vs. Bill Clinton.
Tomorrow it will be Limbaugh vs. Hillary or Obama.
Butt Rush, don't forget Pigboy vs Mrs Pigboy I.
Pigboy vs Mrs Pigboy II and Pigboy vs Mrs Pigboy
I.
That girl who's currently tolerating you.
How much are you paying her?
Bart, I really think the reason that the Clintons
are attacked is because they are winners.
That's why Bill is attacked and slurred as a
racist when he is clearly not and Hillary is
labeled as "polarizing" when she is not.
It reminds me of a line from "Gladiator". The
black gladiator is talking to Maximus
(Russell Crowe) and says "you have a famous name ..they
will have to destroy
your name before they can destroy you". They
are trying to destroy the Clinton name
in order to diminish the couples' strength.
Keep the hammer swinging!!
Sam in sunny California
Yes, that's why the whore media wants Obama.
When the GOP slime machine says, "Can you trust
the lives of your children to the inexperienced Muslim peace-nik named
Hussein?" how will Barack fire back?
"If this is robo-call against Romney is genuine,
it looks like the McCain campaign is exactly what George Will said that
it is: an echo of the Clintons." -- the vulger Pigboy, pretending WE are the
dirty tricks people
A woman winning the USA presidency, a long shot
at best.
A black man winning the USA presidency also a
long shot at best.
Perhaps in normal times, but this country is sick
of Bush and Republicans.
Both Hillory and Obama are too self centered to
have put their personal
power hungry agenda's aside a let a more statistically
viable candidate
to take the lead.A good leader knows when to
stand aside.
I notice you didn't mention who this "superior"
candidate is.
If he ran and lost, how does that make him superior?
If he didn't run, what makes you think he was
a winner?
The DLC ....have insisted in giving us losers
to back.
I took out all your anti-DLC adjectives because
they were duncil.
Who is this mythical candidate you claim could
lead us to victory?
This year they have given us Hillory and Obama,
two long shot candidates
that I'm sure the republicans can't wait to trash
once a canidate is selected.
That's a given - I hope our side is ready to counter
their lies...
As the next republican thug president solidifies
the dictitorial rule of the rich
and the world and continues to trash the US,
loot the treasury, enslave the population
I hope Hillory, Obama and the DLC understand
their complicity in allowing it to happen,
or maybe they.ll just laugh at it all the way
to the bank.
Just My Opinion
Anton
Anton, your opinion would've meant more if you'd mention your candidate.
It sounds to me like you want a pony.
You want JFK or Paul Wellstone to appear and lead us to victory,
but that's not going to happen so why go there?
Without a doubt, our best two candidates are going head-to-head today.
Excerpt: She'll probably wind up pocketing the most delegates

The Media will see to it.
It's unlikely she'll get out and out beaten across
the board, but she'll still lose.
She'll lose by not beating Obama across the board
or she'll lose by not winning
in every big state or she'll lose by not winning
by a large enough margin in the states
she's supposed to win or by not coming close
enough in the states she's expected
to lose or she'll lose by not getting the votes
of the right demographic or she'll lose
by not getting enough votes in the demographics
that were going to vote for her
anyway or she'll lose because not enough people
tell the exit pollsters on their way
out how excited they were to cast their vote
for her.
Whatever, however. She's going to lose.
She's going to lose because they're going to say
she did
and they'll say it because they want her to.
The Democrats are her greatest obstacle.
If she can get past them...
Subject: Daily Bart Talking Points
Strategy for 2008
Thanks Bart. I just about cried when I found
out you were giving me
2 months of BCR. You are too kind, and
very generous, and I am grateful.
Every year that goes by, I get a bit more discouraged,
because the Democratic
Party never ever learns. The Democratic
Leadership has not only failed us,
but I would go so far as to say they betrayed
us.
I'm so old I remember when the Dems were strong.
They pee submissively for the worst president
ever, the guy who wrecked the country,
but they PISS ON We the People. They've
pissed all over Bill Clinton, the only guy
who has won an election for them since
the early 80s, and they've pissed all over the
Democratic grassroots opposition groups that
have arisen (like MoveOn) -- any of
the people who could actually make a difference
for Americans.
That's why my election year money is going to
you. You have worked so hard so long,
publishing nearly every day -- I appreciate how
tough that is. I haven't kept a scorecard,
but you get it spot on most of the time,
unlike our political leaders and the media.
Any more I attribute it to your poker playing.
Chess is purely cerebral, whereas poker
not only requires thinking and strategy, but
good knowledge of psychology and figuring
what the other guy is thinking. Your
brain is hard-wired to be a winning political strategist.
If only, Bart, if only.
I'll do my part to stop the Republicans this Summer
and Fall, but when I do door to door
canvassing like I did 2000, 2004 & 2008,
I'm going to Talk Bart to these folks.
Bart Talking Points. I read every
day (since 1999), but now I'm taking notes and writing scripts.
Having the BCR Radio is going to be a big help
to make me the most effective Bart Talker I can be.
I'll go on the Bart blog one of these days, and
try to get others to join me.
Bart Talking Points. I really think this is something
that can work.
Excerpt: Should feminists actively vote against Clinton
to defend the cause of female equality?
Should men tell women how to vote?
Feminism isn't just about women wielding power.
Female monarchs and despots have
ruled throughout history - and it was no thanks
to feminism. Few would see Elizabeth I
or a dynast like Eva Peron as feminist role models.
What matters is not that they came to
such prominence; but how they did it. Inheriting
office is no achievement. In some ways,
inheriting it, when you could have won it alone,
is a rebuke to feminism. What marks a true
feminist is a woman who gains democratic office
through strictly meritocratic means.
Think of Margaret Thatcher: a woman who...
Then he blows Margaret Thatcher for 20 minutes.
Funny, Andrew never had a problem with Der Fuhrer being the Monkey
decendent
of a crooked arms dealer who stole power by making a deal with Islamic
Jihad in 1979.
"I'm no

No, no problem there.
But if a wife wants to run for the senate and win, twice and
THEN
try to do what the idiot Monkey did, Andrew pees himself and starts
screaming.
Why an I not surprised?
BTW, how did Bush's partnership with Islamic Jihad work out?
This is what happens when a Bush has power.
This is what happens when a Bush has power.
Or, you could Vote Democrat and worry about how to spend The Peace Dividend.
All this Hillary-is-behind-Obama-in-California
crap I'm seeing
has made me nervous for no reason. And that's
because the only polls
that give Obama an edge are the ZOGBY POLLS.
Except for one poll by Rasmussen Reports, which
puts Obama ahead by ONE point,
Clinton is ahead in ALL POLLS except in the ones
by Zogby, which have given
Obama a New-Hamster-like edge over her.
Take care,
Daniel

Sheikhly told a news conference in the capital

that it is not possible to meet demands -- leaving
many neighbourhoods parched.hen

Every progressive blog has been drinking the Obama Kool Aid
but one or two of us.
Supporting Obama is what all the cool kids are doing and GFY if you
disagree.
Let's hope the few of us who weren't mesmerized by the soaring rhetoric
are wrong.
I think the Daily Howler got it wrong as well.
The reason Bill Clinton mentioned the fact
that Rev. Jackson won South Caroline twice was
simple: Rev. Jackson won South Caroline twice,
but did not win the nomination.
That's it. A statement of fact.
Trying to diminish the importance of Obama winning
the state?
Of course. It had nothing to do with race, just
history.
Armando Gutierrez, Ph.D. (I worked for
Rev. Jackson in 1984 and 1988)
For the benefit of healing after the civil war, let's assume that it
wasn't Obama personally who made this into "The Clintons are racists,"
but he sure didn't mind when America's
always-tells-the-truth media made it racial. It helped him quite
a bit.
I was shocked how fast and how hard Black America turned against the
Clintons.

Excerpt: Colin Powell presented the case
against Iraq to the UN Security Council five years ago today.
As much criticism as Powell has
received for this - he calls it "painful" and something that will
"always be a part of my record"
- it hasn't been close to what's justified. Powell was far more
than just horribly mistaken: the
evidence is conclusive that he fabricated evidence and ignored
repeated warnings that what he
was saying was false.
Unfortunately, Congress has never
investigated Powell's use of the intelligence he was given.
Even so, what's already in the
public record is extremely damning. So while the corporate media
has never taken a close look at
this, anyone can go through Powell's presentation line by line
to examine the chasm between what
he knew, and what he told the world. As you see below,
there's quite a lot to say about
it.
I'd like to thank MotherJones.com
for taking a few minutes out of their "Elect Obama" mission
to shine a little light on the
lies of the blood-thirsty bastards who killed 4,000 US soldiers
so they could steal all the oil
in Iraq.
If Iraq was sucked dry of all their
oil today,
is there any doubt all the troops would be home by election day?
What's with all the "unity" talk by Clinton Democrats?
You don't hear as much of that sort of talk from
the Obama camp.
It's almost as if one camp KNOWS that their candidate
is acceptable enough
to rally Democrats of all stripes while the OTHER
camp isn't quite sure if they
can count on the votes of the Democrats they
are supposed to inspire.
That is clearly not a good sign.
Joe Buck
Obama said it in the debate, didn't he? "I can get more of her votes than she can of mine."
It sounded like radical defeatism, to me.
They seem proud to let Mccain have it, instead of Hillary.
Bart, it's just like when you go to the car dealership.
You've done all of your research,
and you know that the road tested sedan is the
perfect car for your family, but the salesman
(media) is hell bent on talking you into the
sleek new sporty model.
Forget about how you would pay for it, what the
insurance will cost, or where you will
put the baby's carseat...you just want it because
it feels good and makes you look good.
If our party is in it for the long haul, we really
should stick with the sedan.
Keep swinging the hammer bart!
