Maybe if Donna Brazile hadn't pushed so hard to screw Florida and Michigan,
we wouldn't be in this civil war and bloggers would have the freedom to write.

Last thing: Who are these bloggers who've been intimidated?

is smaller than bartcop.com - so who are they talking about - anyone have a guess?

Wright is Key Delegate Topic

In an interview with me this morning, senior Hillary adviser Harold Ickes confirmed that
Reverend Jeremiah Wright is a key topic in discussions with uncommitted super-delegates
over whether Obama is electable in a general election.

The comments from Ickes, who is Hillary's chief delegate hunter, are to my knowledge the
first on-the-record confirmation from a Hillary adviser that the Wright controversy is a
subject in conversations between the Hillary campaign and the super-delegates her advisers
are trying to win over to Hillary's side.

When Grandps McCain addressed the nation's burgeoning mortgage mess last week,
he insisted it was time for a little "straight talk."

"I will not play election-year politics with the housing crisis," he insisted while unveiling his plan,
which many have described as friendlier to the mortgage industry than the Democrats' proposals.
What McCain did not say - which some believe smacks of politics - is that two of his top advisers
were recently lobbyists for a notorious lender in the mortgage meltdown.

John Green and Wayne Berman billed more than $720,000 in lobbying fees from 2005 through 2007
to Ameriquest Mortgage.   Ameriquest was forced to settle suits with 49 states for $325 million.
More than 13,680 New York homeowners got taken for a ride by the company, records show.

Bart, apparently these right wing nut jobs have a short term memory (not unlike Reagan).
As I recall, Al Gore, right or wrong, did not want Bill's help in 2000 because of the Monica thing.

Let's also remember that Gore picked Kissyface (Bill's biggest Dem critic) to run with

would've voted for the war and HE would be asked to explain NAFTA etc.

Like it or not, Clinton is our "Reagan," and each time a Democrat slimes Clinton
they're saying, "Even our best president in 60 years is slime," so why should
any undecided voter go with the party whose best is a "f-ing racist whore bastard?"

Bart,

To add to what Walter has said, the Clintons managed to accomplish all those positive things
with one hand while fighting off multiple and unrelenting attacks by their enemies with the other.

Whitewater, the Paula Jones debacle where Bill Clinton was accused of trying to convince Jones,
a state employee, to perform fellatio.  Charges of sexual intimidation fell flat when it was learned
Jones later received promotions despite the fact she claimed noncompliance to his alleged requests.
I found it hard to believe it since one look at her told me she could make a strap on go limp.

The Vince Foster suicide, Travel Gate, etc., etc. and, of course, Monica.
How in the world the Clintons survived all this will remain a mystery to me.

I just woke up from a deep sleep, then went into several websites; and according to them,
Obama is already President and he might appoint Al Gore to his cabinet.

Also, the unheard of: Tim Russert called him out on the Swiftboating of Hillary,
which he reluctantly admitted, then sluffed it off on his staff.

I'm not familiar with that.

Then everyone was poking fun at Bill Clinton for being a little upset about Bill Richardson's betrayal;

Bart, I'm slowly starting to like Hillary Clinton.
I dislike the way the media kicks Hillary around like some kind of tomato can.

One irritating habit I've noticed is that the media tries to take photographs of Hillary
when she's naturally in the middle of changing facial expressions during speeches in order
to get an awkward picture that will portray her as some kind of shrill, contemptuous wench.

It's bullshit.

And in order to pull this off, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated
public documents to hide her deception.
 

Gee, I wonder who Zeifman supports in this year's election?

This is one of those stories where I can't find a single fact.
She was "fired" - that doesn't make her evil.  Have you ever been fired? Are you evil?
   And that's assuming this handjob was even her boss, that she was fired, etc.
She was "dishonest and unethical?"  Compared to who?   You?
If she "conspired to violate the Constitution," why didn't you have her arrested?
She was "determined to get enough votes..."  Is that a crime?
She wrote a "fraudulent legal brief."  Says who?  Where's the brief?
   What was it about?  Was it ever filed?  Was she ordered to write a brief?
When she "confiscated public documents," did you call the police?
Why did you wait 35 years to mention "her crimes?"

How She wins the Popular vote

Subject: Keith Olbermann and Countdown

Bart:
Like others, I was a faithful viewer of Countdown. I also always read, among a few others,
Buzzflash, Frank Rich, etc. But now I absolutely refuse. I am a yellow dog democrat (sooner vote
for a yellow dog than a republican). I think Obama is a fine man, a fine senator and I'm sure he'll
make a fine president if elected. If he's the nominee in November, I'll be first in line to vote for him.

But I expect more from the left. I have no illusions about Bill or Hillary Clinton. My politics are much
further left than their's (and also of Obama's). But I know that Bill's presidency was a good one by
historical standards. And I know Hillary would be a good president as well (and tearing down the
glass ceiling for women would be a monumental breakthrough). The likes of Olberman, Rich and
others have no shortage of targets on the right ... after all, is there anything the right has not turned
to crap in the last 28 years (starting with Reagan)?

But instead of using precious airtime and print space to educate stupid Americans about the disastrous
course of this nation since the right rose to prominence, they use it to bash Bill and Hill. How stupid!
Count me out. Thanks for maintaining the proper perspective Bart. You're a joy to read.

I guess I should thank Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz and most of the rest of the Air America crew,
they're saving me money.  Air America was the only reason I kept sending XM a check every three months.

After the way Randi Rhodes ranted about how she never supported anyone in the primaries,
then got behind whoever the Democratic nominee was, she is completely sickening.

Air America, and especially Randi Rhodes, makes Democrats look exactly like
the Repugs have tried to make them, a bunch of blowhards with no morals.

She used to be the top draw at Air America but after becoming an Obama cheerleader,
I suspect she is going to lose a good part of her audience. But then the Dems seem to
show their stupidity pretty regularly, so they will soon forget.
