"I sometimes get the sense someone dared John
McCain to run for president while spouting
nothing but nonsense, just to see what he
could get away with. Today is just such an occasion...
It's hard to imagine even gullible conservatives
falling for such a transparently ridiculous pitch.
McCain thinks he can make permanent (George
W.) Bush's tax cuts, and add some new tax cuts
of his own, and eliminate the AMT, and keep
the wars going indefinitely, and increase the
Pentagon's budget, and eliminate a $410 billion
deficit in four years. It's pure fantasy.
Meet John McCain, the candidate who bases
his policies on magic ponies, and his rhetoric
on the hopes that voters are idiots."

Iraq to
US: Go Home
Link
Excerpt:
Iraq's prime minister said Monday his country
wants some type of timetable for a withdrawal
of American troops included in the deal the two
countries are negotiating.
It was the first time that Prime Minister Nouri
al-Maliki has explicitly and publicly called
for a withdrawal timetable - an idea opposed
by President Bush.
He offered no details. But his national security
adviser, Mouwaffak al-Rubaie, told The Whore AP
that the government is proposing a timetable
conditioned on the ability of Iraqi forces to provide security.
"The goal is to end the presence (of foreign troops),"
al-Maliki said.
...and end the Bush Money Train?

Subject: Sunshine won't
be free for long
How much you wanna bet that that so called "moratorium
on solar energy projects for
assessment purposes" is buying time for Exxon/Mobil,
Chevron, BP, Halliburton, and their
friends in the White House to get together and
figure out how to charge for sunlight?
Notice the Big Oil advertisements lately? They
advertise how "Green" they are and how
pensions are benefiting from Big OIl prices.
They are diversifying into alternative energy sources.
I expect that soon, sunlight won't be free for
long.
If they can charge for water, they can charge
for sunshine. Just like any other commodity.
In the 1600's, England charged a tax based on
how many windows a house had.
It resulted in folks bricking up their windows
to beat the tax.
You can see this on some of the old buildings
over there.
I don't know how it will be done, but I'm confident
that where there is a will there is a way.
Traci
Traci, you are correct.
Nobody is as greedy as an oil bastard, and with
a crooked oil president, they are free
to steal $60 per week from every family in America
- and they're doing just that.
The only reason they put a moratorium on solar
power was to stop research and
developement and to derail efforts to wean us
off terrorist oil.
But why hasn't anybody raised their voice about
this outrage?
Where is Al Gore on this?
Where is the Sierra Club and Greenpeace and everybody else?
Why can't anybody do their f-ing job?
Once you buy the equipment - solar power is free - forever.
That's why the Bush bastards and the oil bastards are blocking it.

Honors racist Prick
Link
Excerpt:
Harry Reid (D-Limp) introduced Senate Resolution
608 - "A resolution relative to the death of
Jesse Helms" - and the entire Sentate signed
on as co-sponsors.
The resolution expresses "profound sorrow and
deep regret" over the death of this racist prick
and claims he "made invaluable contributions
to his community, State, Nation, and the World."
Un-fucking-believable.
When did gay bashing and race baiting become invaluable
contributions to any community?

Shock you
Airlines
Big Brother wants to track you, then shock you
Link
Excerpt:
A senior Bush bastard with Homeland Security
has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet
that would serve as a stun device, similar to
that of a Taser. According to this promotional video found at
the Lamperd Less Lethal website, the bracelet
would be worn by all airline passengers.
This bracelet would:
• take the place of an airline boarding pass
• contain personal information about the traveler
• be able to monitor the whereabouts of each
passenger and his/her luggage
• shock the wearer on command, completely immobilizing
him/her for several minutes
The Electronic ID Bracelet, as it's referred to
as, would be worn by every traveler
"until they disembark the flight at their destination."
Yes, you read that correctly.

This is such a betrayal.
Who is he to determine whether or not someone's
mental condition is a determining factor in terminating a pregnancy?
Once again, we go back to what is between a woman
and her doctor and what is best for the health of that woman.
If my daughter were teetering on the brink of
mental illness, and a pregnancy would push her over the edge
into full blown insanity, I'm all for terminating
that pregnancy. Because frankly, my daughter who is here and now,
is more precious to me than a child who might
not even make it to full term given the harm that someone in the
throes of mental illness may do to themselves
and the child they are carrying.
The fact that this man would pander to the religious
right is troublesome.
If he will cowtow to them on this issue, what
will he say to them about
our gay family members (and you know we all have
them).

Sex Crimes
in the White House
Does Bush masturbate with torture videos?
Link
Excerpt:
Sex crime has a telltale signature, even when
those directing the outrages are some of the most
powerful men and women in the United States.
How extraordinary, then, to learn that one of the
perpetrators of these crimes, Condoleezza Rice,
has just led the debate in a special session of the
United Nations Security Council on the use of
sexual violence as a weapon of war...
The sexualization of torture from the top basically
turned Abu Ghraib and Guantnamo Bay into an
organized sex-crime ring in which the trafficked
sex slaves were US-held prisoners. Looking at the
classic S and M nature of some of this torture,
it is hard not to speculate that someone setting policy
was aroused by all of this. And Phillipe Sands'
impeccably documented Torture Team: Rumsfeld's
Memo and the Betrayal of American Values,
now proves that sex crime was authorized and,
at least one source reports, eroticized: Diane
Beaver, (Seriously?) the
Staff Judge Advocate at Gitmo
who signed off on many torture techniques, told
Sands about brainstorming sessions that included the
use of sexual tension, which was "culturally
taboo, disrespectful, humiliating and potentially unexpected."
Who is surprised by this?
Bush sees people as objects to be played with and then thrown away.
He can't see a bald man without rubbing his head.
He gave German Chancellor Merkel an
unwanted neckrub that bordered on assault.
He used Letterman's producer's sweater to clean his glasses - who does
those things?
Bush orders people kidnapped and tortured - he's got severe problems.
Mentally, he's nine years old and he abuses power constantly.

Warrantless wiretapping of Americans should outrage
Congress into banning the practice.
But, in a display of political expediency,
fucking
cowardice,
the Senate is about to bless it,
following a similar cave-in by the House last

Making matters worse, Obama and McCain - plan

John McCain says he's going to balance the budget?
What a joke.
He wants us to stay in two of Bush's wars and
maybe start a third one
if Bush and his buddy Joe Lieberman get their
way.
McCain also wants to cut more taxes for the rich
in spite of that he
used to be against cutting taxes for the rich
back when he was a "maverick".
Without having a plan McCain is saying that we're
going back to the surpluses
we had in the Clinton years when the Democrats
had the White House.
Just more of the same old same old election year
lies.
If we are going to elect someone to bring back
the Democrat surpluses

Excerpt:
L.F. Eason III gave up the only job he'd ever

Eason, a 29-year veteran of the state Department

Obama's
Online Problem
Link
Excerpt:
The same Internet-fueled power that led to historic
gains in organizing and fundraising for Obama's
campaign is now providing a platform for fiery
dissent in a most unlikely place: his own Web site.
Amid criticism from the left that he has eased
toward the center on a number of issues in recent weeks,
he has angered some of his most ardent supporters
while triggering something of an online mutiny.
Thousands are using MyBarackObama.com to angrily
organize against him because of a changed
position on terrorist wiretap legislation that
awaits Senate action as early as Wednesday.
The dispute has forced Obama to respond in ways
never before seen in a presidential campaign,
demonstrating the Internet's growing role in
the democratic process and the live-by-the-click,
die-by-the-click potential it holds for politicians."
A new online group named "Senator Obama - Please
Vote NO on Telecom Immunity - Get FISA Right,"
now with more than 22,000 members, it is the
largest group on MyBarackObama.com.
It's slightly annoying that Obama is pretending he hasn't changed.
"Look, let me talk about this whole notion
that I am shifting to the center.
The people who say this apparently
haven't been listening to me." Link
When you promise to filibuster FISA, and then decide to vote for it,
the problem isn't that we're not paying attention.
When you say the mental health of a woman isn't important,
the problem isn't that we're not paying attention.

July 9th 2008. A dark day in America. Again.
What a complete and total failure of leadership
on the part of Democrats.
We, the people, have been completely betrayed
by our Party regarding FISA and telecom immunity.
Not only has Bush accomplished everything he
wanted to do - and brought the country to it's knees
by doing so- he's done it with the approval and
complicity of Democrats.
The true level of his crimes will never be known
- thanks to Democrats who are afraid of having
their own crimes exposed. Because what
other reason could there be for them to vote for this bill?
It is not about 'security', it is not about 'protecting
the people'.
It is about FEAR. And that fear belongs to members
of the Democratic Party that voted for this bill.
That Democrats would toss over the rule of law,
ignore the Constitution,
and give Bush everything he wants in this is
beyond the pale.
Unforgivable. Shameful.
Those Democrats sicken and disgust me.
