 gave/sold weapons to the very terrorists he promsed to go all "John Wayne" on.
 In 1988, Bush the Smarter promised a "kinder, gentler," America, then he had
 to pardon Reagan's cabinet so they wouldn't testify about all Bush's crimes.

  In 2000, Bush the Weak and Stupid promised to restore honor and dignity to the Oval Office.

 Can you name any promises that Carter or Clinton failed to keep?

 If the Democrats would just list the f-ing facts we'd never lose an election.
 But they are too scared, too timid and too stupid to fight back.

threaten high school students

Irving Gonzales signed up - but only to "pre-enlist" in the Delayed Entry Program. 
DEP allows kids to try out the military without a binding commitment.

But there is a problem: Army recruiters aren't sticking to the program and are bullying 
and even lying to potential recruits and their families to keep them from dropping out. 

After he had a change of heart, Gonzalez said a recruiter told him if he did drop out, 
they would send him to jail.

Scared, Gonzales called Sgt. Glenn Marquette, a supervisor at the Greenspoint Recruiting Station.
Marquette told Gonzales there was no way out.  "You signed a binding contract," he said. 
 "You're AWOL. Absent without leave. You want to go to school? You will not get no loans, 
because all college loans are federal and government loans. So you'll be black barred from that.
As soon as you get pulled over for a speeding ticket, they're gonna see you're a deserter, 
they're going to apprehend you, take you to jail."
 

But congress made it legal for the recruiters to lie.
When you have a license to lie, lying becomes the norm.

Recruiters can tell you ANYTHING and it's legal.

They can guarantee you'll be stationed in Hawaii and guarantee your job 
will be mixing sexy recruiting videos - and the minute you sign up they can 
legally send your gullible ass to Iraq to spill your blood near Bush's oil wells.

We can't get mad at the military for lying if lying is legal.

Bart,

In 1981, Reagan/Bush took office and, by 1986, started the great Savings and Loan disaster 
in which 1600 S&Ls failed...mainly due to bad real estate loans.  (Neil Bush, brother of W, 
allegedly made off with $100 million from this, paying a fine of $50,000 and denying all 
wrongdoing -- it helps if your dad's in charge of fixing the problem.)

And he promised he'd never do it again - don't forget that.

In 2001, Bush/Cheney took office and, by 2007, started the great Bank disaster in which....
well, we're still in the middle of it, but we don't know how many will fail.  According to the Fed, 
there are about 9500 banks in the US, of which ~5000 seem to be vulnerable...due to bad 
real estate loans. 

Now that we've nationalized 1600 S&Ls and maybe will nationalize up to 5000 banks, 
let all the rest merge, what's the next target?  Credit Unions?

It may be 2008, but the banking crisis makes it look like 1986. 
The only thing we have going for us is that we're closer to the end of the 
administration that caused the crisis.

This is the 21st century and presidents need to be able to use computers. 

When asked about his computer skills John McCain says , "I am a illiterate 
who has to rely on my wife for all the assistance I can get", that's scary. 

A person who is computer illiterate is just not qualified to be president. 
We already have an illiterate in the white House. Why should we elect another?
If McCain is too old to use a computer then he's too old to be president.

Canada Melting - The End is Near
