I am impressed by the start Obama has gotten out to.
While I was not a supporter, Hillary was my choice,
I am hopeful that he can get the nation on track to economic recovery.

While that certainly will take some time, such is the depth of the ditch
into which Bush led the country, it is very refreshing to see an immediate
improvement in morality at the White House.

The last president that aroused such optimism was JFK.

Keep on hammering away Bart and maybe some of the bastards,
perhaps Bush and Cheney, will find themselves before the court.
One can only hope.

 I love hearing that, but at the same time, he fell for the old trick.
 He was talking about Detroit getting better mileage by setting a goal of 40 MPG by the year 2020.

 This is a mistake.
 By doing that, he's allowing Detroit to drag their feet for the next 12 years.

 In reality, that means "Pollute your ass off the rest of your life."

 In 2020, Detroit can simply say, "We can't meet that goal - should we go out of business?"
 and ask for another bailout.

 A better plan would be to force Detroit to get an additional 1.5 miles PER YEAR.
 That way, they have to start working on the problem NOW instead of waiting ten years.

 If they can't find a way to add 1.5 miles per year, then let's find out now
 instead of bailing them out for 12 years and then finding it out.

Well, I was wrong.  From Media Matters, here’s a couple of quotes from Fox News:
“Chris Wallace stated, "I'm not sure Obama really is the president, because the oath of office is set in the Constitution.”
and, Gretchen Carlson asked of Obama, "Is he really president," and went on to claim, "Because there was a flub in
the oath of office."

They are like twelve year-olds, aren’t they?  Pandering to an audience of eight year-olds.

According to him, power transfers when the hand strikes twelve, not when the oath is taken.

Obama opens Bush Historical Records

Newspaper says thief turned into a goat

Just like in America - the crazy people live in rural areas.
People in rural areas in America are so crazy - they voted for Bush and McCain.

Why can't the super-stupid see themselves in stories like this?
Why can't religious people see themselves in fake stories about 72 virgins?

If your religion said people can turn into goats, would you believe in that crap?
How about when they say "virgin birth" or "rose from the dead" or "turned water into wine?"

Hi Bart,

It is amazing to hear Rush Limbaugh say he wants Obama to fail. 
Remember after 9/11 this country was so wrapped up in "patriotism" 
that anyone criticizing Bush or saying anything negative about America 
was practically labeled a "terrorist?"

I now understand Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly and the Republican party 
wanting failure. Bush and his party are all about failure and they miss the
failing policies already. America has suffered under failed Republican
policies since Nixon. 

Remember, John McCain was all about deregulation until banks and financial 
institutions failed - then he wanted to regulate. And we are supposed to think 
flip-flopping is a Democratic Party only sport? 

Could we have these success haters deported or at least taken off the airwaves? 
One can only hope the right-windbags get fail to maintain their audience and have to get real jobs.

It has to be a republican tradition, Rush and his cronies want America to fail - again.

That's the way the Democrats do it. You put people into groups and then you victimize them. And give the victims power over 
the majority. Because they then have grievances that are nonexistent, and the majority gets cowed into fear, because they don't 
want to be complained at, they don't want to be blamed, so 'OK, OK, you want health care, fine, we'll go get it.
 

Pigboy, that's fine.
Keep thinking that - keep preaching that.
Tell the Nazi bastards that they failed because they weren't f-ing Nazi enough.

That fit's into my hopes of never seeing another Republican president.

I watched the very first episode of Veronica Mars four years ago.

Her words to the effect is that, she like to bust men who cheat on their wifes.
TOTALLY TURNED ME OFF.
It struck me as she would NEVER bust a woman who cheated on her husband.
So it came across to me as just another "chicks rule, MEN SUCK" show, and I never 
watched it since...  Id rather have had them bring back Dead Like me...now THERE was a fun show...

As to your sound PC issues. I do believe you recently bought an HP laptop, so instead of complaining about it
on your page, why havent you called HP Tech support and have them remote in and FIX IT??

Robert, Veronica Mars worked for her dad, a private detective.
Most of the jobs private detectives get are cheating husband cases.
You would fault the show because men cheat more than women?

We watched one weaker episode during Season One and it seemed OK, nothing special,
but people kept raving about it so we gave it another chance and BOOM, we were hooked.

It probably wasn't the BEST show on TV during those years, but I'll put it this way:
If we were leaving town for a week and our TIVO could only hold one show
we would've record Veronica Mars and that's true for a whole lot of people.

Like Buffy, it was a cult show where people either got it or didn't.

As far as my computer, I bought a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista and it works GREAT!.
It's my piece o' crap two desktop PCs that keep turning the sound off for no damn reason.

Carter vs Clinton

Recently I defended Jimmy Carter.
Democrats have a habit of peeing on their heroes.

Isn't one big reason Bush the Dumber got "elected" because he promised

That's another reason why the braindead Demopcrats had no business praising Reagan
during his term and especially the glowing gushes of praise during Reagan Funeral Week
When you praise a cowboy as a great man, why be surprised when you lose a later election
because some idiot Monkey claimed he was Reagan the Second Coming?

Recently, the five president got together in the Oval Office. The good-for-nothing press whores
made a big deal about how carter was shunned at that meeting and I defended him.

The cable whores and talk radio nazis also made a big thing out of Clinton snubbing Carter.
They say it's "common knowl;edge" that Clinton can't stand Jimmy Carter. I let that go figuring
it was just media whore horseshit because they have NO interest in the truth. I remided myself
that those sluts are in the commercial selling business, not the truth business or dignoty business.

But Friday I was listening to Stephanie Miller on XM-Radio.
She brought up the Carter-Clinton feud, said it was a real thing, but she didn't know why.
Then she had a caller who said Clinton despises Carter because during impeachment,
Carter called for Clinton to step down.

That might be true, I kinda remember something about it.
And I would even stand behind Carter's right to speak his mind - unless...

Did Carter remain silent when Reagan-Bush got caught selling weapons to terrorists?
Did Carter remain silent when Poppy Bush pardoned Reagan's cabinet to hide their crimes?

Did Carter remain silent when Bush the Idiot went thru eight years of rapes, kidnappings,
torture and muder all while smirking for the cameras and lying about him crimes?

If Carter spoke out against ALL presidential crimes - and one girlfriend, that's one thing.
But if Carter held his tongue for those major crimes but then called for Clinton to stepo down
because of unproven allegations of a girlfriend - then fuck him - he's dead to me.

I'm not saying "fuck Jimmy Carter."
I'm saying "fuck Jimmy Carter" if he held his tongue for major Republican felonies but then
decided to trash a fellow Democrat for a not-even-a-misdemeanor semi-sexual indescretion
