win favor with the self-preserving, self-absorbed
healthcare industry insiders and their paid-for legislators,
I think he'd better take a good look in the mirror
before calling anyone else fucking stupid.
I assume Rahm (and Obama) have a plan.
Why would he ask his own people to stop fighting with the people who
are fighting him?
Possible Answer: Chickens coming home to roost?
Plus, there's a reason why Rahm is where he is and not the ambassador
to, say, China.

I would blame geography and the warm sun.
They grow cotton in the South and back then, regardless of the moral
problem,
they needed workers they didn't have to pay to pick the cotton and
work the tobacco fields.
Once you get past "It's wrong to own people"
it's a system that worked great for the owners.
But gradually America accepted the idea that slavery was wrong to the
South's chagrin.
They're fine with slavery because it was working so well for them.
Kinda like today's health care mess.
For the wealthy who are making millions of dollars with this crooked
system,
Once you get past "It's wrong to let the poor
die" it's a system that works great for the super-rich.
Gradually, America is accepting the idea that letting the poor die is
wrong, to the GOP's chagrin.
They're fine with letting the poor die because the current system is
working so well for them.
Bottom line - people lie to themselves because they are stupid and scared.
The South hates Obama because they still think they were right about
slavery.
The GOP hates health care reform because they think God is just thinning
the herd for the super-rich.

Is there any solution short of buying a new computer?
I've been to Control Panel > Mouse Settings and tried every combination.
What's my next move?
Buy a third mouse and watch it not work, too?
