Quote of

"Ever wondered why the left is so afraid of the Second Amendment? It’s
because we're the ones with all the guns.” -- the vulgar Pigboy, accidentally telling
the truth
Oddity: I own five guns, Rush owns zero guns but there
may be a good reason for that. He doesn't want
those seven year olds he's raping to shoot his Nazi ass.

"These are troubled times, and we need a hero,
someone unencumbered by politics as usual. Someone who could kill a moose with one hand
and skin a bear with the other. Someone without a job. ... Yes! Like a ship slowly appearing over the horizon
to an island of castaways, Sarah Palin has arrived with fresh food, clothing and that little
box she keeps next to her bed filled with crazy." -- Jon Stewart on Palin's
"death panel" insanity
Excerpt: Rep. Michele Bachmann's son Harrison has joined
Teach For America, part of what she considers
a dreaded government re-education camp program
called AmeriCorps.
Back in April, Rep. Bachmann warned: "There's
a very strong chance that young people will be put into mandatory service.
And the real concern is that there are provisions
for what I would call re-education camps for young people, where they
get trained in a philosophy that the government
puts forward and then work in some of these politically correct forums.
It appears that there's a philosophical agenda
behind all of this, and especially if young people are mandated to go into
this."
She added, "As a parent, I would have a very,
very difficult time seeing my children do this."
Star Tribune columnist Jon Tevlin writes that
"when Bachmann issued her screed,
her son might have already been accepted, and
certainly would have applied. Ouch."

Firing Quotes
"The amount of backstabbing and treachery involved
is just breathtaking. It’s astounding that without reviewing the evidence or talking
to the F.B.I. or anything, the White House would assume that these were provable cases
and that I needed to file them for the political benefit of the party. That’s not what U.S.
attorneys do."
-- David Iglesias, who was removed as a U.S attorney because he wasn't
crooked enough for Karl Rove, Link
"Under the Bush regime, honest and well-performing
U.S. attorneys were fired for petty patronage, political horse-trading, and, in the
most egregious case of political abuse of the U.S. attorney corps -- that of U.S. attorney Iglesias --
because he refused to use his office to help Republicans win elections." -- John Conyers,

So what are you going to do about this, John?
You going to write a hot letter and put it in your desk drawer?
Your job is NOT to report the crimes.
Your job is to bring the bastards to justice.
Subject: Military and the evil
"socialized" nation
My husband is in the Marine Corps and when other
military wives find out I voted for Obama
they all look at me and say..."but you're a military
wife?!?!" I say so? Then they
go on and on
about how obama is going to rape the military
and obama is going to make this a socialized nation... blah blah blah.
Then I step back and go, "You live in a "socialized"
nation... you and your kids get health care paid for by the government,
you get all kinds of free school benefits, when
our husbands get leave they are still getting paid..".
My gosh the list could go on and on. I am in constant
awe when these people open their mouths
about "socialized this and socialized that" when
you are living that horrible "socialized" way.
Keep up the good work!
Lauren
I still can't figure out why they love the deserting Monkey who lied
4500 soldiers to death
and they hated Clinton who never sent a soldier into battle who didn't
come home.
Now they hate Obama because he wants to end Bush's fake war in Iraq.
Most soldiers vote like they're from Oklahoma (not a compliment).
Excerpt: The site Bonehead of the Day complains that I
'conveniently forget how groups like ActUp, Code Pink, MoveOn,
ANSWER, ACORN have encouraged activists to shout
down (and sometimes pie) conservative speakers at colleges,
and mobilize millions online to 'push back' during
political campaigns.
I cannot disagree with that at all. The people
on the right are absolutely, uh, right.
Now it's Democrats who are on the receiving end...
The crazies from the far-right reaches are merely
employing tactics refined by the crazies on the other fringe.
Conservatives have always despised demonstrators.
In my lifetime, they would sometimes organize their
sympathizers to break up loud protests. Times
have changed. The shoe is on the other foot...
Just like those on the far left fighting for their
issues, they've concluded that civilized discourse is futile.
Why bother with constructive discussion. Disruptive
behavior is the only way to get anyone's attention.
You're not going to like this, but before Obama was elected, Cindy Shehan
was doing to shouting down.
Someone, I think it was Pelosi, had to cancel a press conference becaue
Cindy kept screaming at her.
At the time I said Cindy was getting "bad advice" and people jumped
on me for saying so.
"Sarah Palin exposed the shocking truth about
Obama's health care plan, saying that the America she knows is not one where her loved ones
will 'have to stand in front of Obama's death panel so his bureaucrats can decide ... whether they are
worthy of health care.' Bravo, Ms. Palin! That is the most powerful message you've written by throwing
a handful of magnetic poetry against the fridge." -- Stephen Colbert,

"Les Paul was a shining example of how full
one's life can be. He was so vibrant and full of positive energy. I'm honored
and humbled to have known and played with him over the years. He was an exceptionally
brilliant man." -- Slash, who has his own signature
line of Slash Les Paul Goldtop guitars, Link
“Les Paul set a standard for musicianship and
innovation that remains unsurpassed. He was the original guitar hero, and
the kindest of souls.” -- Joe Satriani, Link
“Without Les Paul, there's be no Les Paul guitar
and who knows what any of us would've done
without that. Les Paul brought six strings to electricity and electricity
to six strings," " -- Billy Gibbons Link
> President Bush almost
never appeared before audiences not pre-screened for loyalty. > Potential dissenters
were prevented from entering and were sometimes arrested
I can't FUCKING believe this isn't being reported
more often given what's going on in the Town Halls.
The hypocrisy is making my head esplode (as Stephanie
Miller might say)...
John
You make a good point.
Maybe we're not seeing what we're seeing.
These people screaming at their elected officials
MIGHT be doing so because
(A) It's the first time in 8 years they've been
allowed to speak and
(B) They're pretty sure Obama won't have them
arrested for having an opinion.
Under Bush, wearing a t-shirt or having a bumper sticker could get you
jailed.
"The driving force behind the town hall mobs
is probably the same cultural and racial anxiety that's behind the 'birther' movement. Rethugs are exploiting
that anxiety to further the economic interests of their backers. Does this sound familiar? It should: Nixon
advance GOP fortunes by appealing to the racial fears of working-class
whites." -- Paul Krugman,
stopping his Obama attacks long enough to remember which side he's on,
Link
Who said it first?
This has always been about race.
Rethugs want their "whites only" country back and they want it
now.
Is Obama being suckered by the Republicans the
same way that was depicted in Charlie Brown comics?
Lucy would hold the football and always promise
that she wouldn't jerk it away at the last minute.
Poor Charlie Brown would run up to kick the ball
and at the last second Lucy would jerk it away
and Charlie Brown would fall on his butt.
When I hear Obama talking about a "bipartisan"
health care reform package it makes me ask the question,
"Is Obama really that stupid? He praises Republican
Senator Grassley for his support while Grassley tells people
to fear Obama's death panels. What Obama doesn't
seem to grasp is that for Republicans, failure is the new success.
Republicans want America to fail so they can
claim that Democrats are just as bad as Republicans.
I think it's time for Obama to get tough and
the Democrats to get smart.
Excerpt: This is the most frightening thing I have heard
in a very long time: According to a poll conducted by the Daily Kos,
which I fervently hope is wrong, 28 percent of
Republicans believe that President Obama is not an American citizen.
Dude, don't worry about those Kos polls.
They're as phony as my Federal Breast
Inspector
badge.
Those Kos polls make f-ing Zogby
look honest by comparison.
Another 30 percent are undecided. A wider survey
takes that 58 percent of potential “birthers” nationwide up to nearly
70 in Virginia alone. And ten Rethug congressmen
have signed on to a bill demanding that Obama prove his citizenship.
If a majority of Republicunts think that this
“birther” stuff is possible, some very dark times may be heading our way.
Early this spring, I spent two very long days
traveling around Kentucky with Orly Taitz, one of the leading "birthers"
in a
nation full of hysterical handjobs. So I can
tell you, this is much, much crazier than most people imagine - and alarmingly
in sync with the "tea parties" and wild accusations
of socialism that seem to define the current "conservative" opposition."
John, how long have you been in America?
Did your plane touch down for the first time last week?
You're just now figuring out 1/3 of the country is bat-shit crazy?
I can answer that - it was Election Day 2000.
America decided against the smart fella
and went with the braindead cowboy
because he'd be more fun to drink with.

Excerpt: "African Americans have treated (Obama) better
than they would treat Jesus if he were to return. He's partially alledged to the African American
people (What does that mean?)
Black people always walk around with a chip on their shoulder
- because they're Black - daring anybody to say anything to them. Seventy percent of Black men are full of
abandonment, full of murder, full of robbery and full of violence. I'm not saying ALL Black men, just seventy
percent of them."
This guy is the funniest racist I've seen since Daniel
Carver on the Stern show.
Bart, I have to disagree with the ad you ran from
freakingnews.com.
Men and women do not join the Marines to "visit
exotic countries meet interesting people and then kill them."
I know you need ads to keep you afloat, and I
know that those ads allow me to enjoy your webpage.
But I will not stand for that. Bart,
you are one of the very few pages I get to enjoy.
If that is the portrayal of the Marines that
you want to give then it might be time for me to leave
Roy
Roy, first thing, that's a humorous cartoon, not an ad.
Second, if you're a loyal marine, the last decade must've been pretty
tough for you.
Because Bush lied us into a war that all but decimated our military's
fighting capability,
the Marines were forced to recruit criminals, skinheads and white supremists
to reach their goals.
Sidebar: Because I'm less a military hater than most Lefties, I haven't concentrated
on this story but when Iraq
became a killing field, recruiting dried up and they began allowing
less-than-desireables to join .
I wonder how many thousands of men were given the choice of prison
or the military?
Is it your position that Bush DID NOT lower the standards to let in
less-than desireables?
Or do you agree that he did, but I should not point out that fact?
I'll make you a deal:
I'll admit not every Marine signed up to "kill the darkies," if you
admit that some of them did.
Blame Bush for what happened to our military.
The cartoonists didn't kill anybody.
Excerpt:
Republican mayoral candidate Anna Falling says
that putting a Christian creationism display in the Tulsa Zoo
is No. 1 in importance among city issues that
include violent crime, budget woes and bumpy streets.
“It’s first,” she said to calls of “hallelujah”
at a rally outside the zoo. “If we can’t come to the foundation of faith,
those other answers will never come. We need
to first of all recognize the fact that God needs to be honored in this
city.”
Holy Jesus!
Will the insanity never end?
She's telegraphing up-front: "I'm
crazy as hell, so please vote for me."
Falling also said the next mayor needs to appoint
people to will “honor God.”
“We will also look for people who want to characterize
the origins of both man and animals
in a way that honors Judeo-Christian science
that proves God as the creator,” she said.
So when it comes to violent crimes and paving
our roads, she's going to ask for God's help?
There is no God so no help is coming, you crazy
twit.
Did you think I was kidding when I said I was
the smartest man in Oklahoma?

Maybe there's a lost millennium between here

Scott
Scott, it's the late 19th century here.
The slaves are still slaves and we hang liberals
and gays.
This crazy bitch wants to put a display at the
Tulsa Zoo saying, "Science is wrong, science
is evil." That pretty much sums up the Republican Party
platform and she wants to brag about being stupid.
