Quote of
the Day
"There is a stealing of America, and it has been done through theguise of an election, but they lied to us the entire time.
Some of us knew! Some of us we're shouting
out... 'This guy's a Marxist! No, no, no, no,
no, no.' And they're gonna say, 'we did it democratically.'
" -- Glenn Beck, on Obama "stealing" America,
Link
Is this why they keep saying "I
want my America back?" because Glenn Beck told them Obama stole it?
"There are a lot of the President's ideas that
I wouldn't want my children discussing in a public school. It's not appropriate,
the place for that is in the home." -- Florida GOP press
secretary Katie Gordon, on Obama's upcoming address to schoolchildren ,
Link
But lady, if your kids can only learn from
you,
they might turn out like you and who wants
that?
Go ahead - admit it.
The truth is you don't want some "nigger
ideas" in your kid's head.
Subject: National Geographic
takes on WTC theories...
National Geographic is owned by Rupert Murdoch.
I did not know that. That certainly makes a difference.
Does he own Biography, too?
There's some real crazy horseshit
in some of those biography stories.
If I'm nor mistaken, their Clinton Biography
said urban legends Mena Airport was true
and they acted like The
Clinton Chronicles were believed by a majority of sane people.
What the real National Geographic trailer should
be:
Tonight on National Geographic: Rupert Murdoch
presents his Orwellian propaganda: "9/11: Science and Conspiracy"
plays twice on cable television. Will National
Geographic report on the Bentham Physics Chemistry Journal study PROVING
nanothermite was used, in abundance, to turn
the Twin Towers into dust? Past National Geographic specials on 9/11 obey
the
enforced official myths put forth by NIST and
the 9/11 Commission.
Sadly, National Geographic has become a propaganda
tool--abandoning its historic role as a trustworthy source of reporting
on far away places and differing cultures. Trace
the ownership of National Geographic and we find National Geographic is
owned
by News Corp--which is owned by Rupert Murdoch.
I don't expect Rupert Murdoch's 90-minute piece to explain why BBC, CNN
and FOXNEWS knew to announce that Building 7
had already collapsed--before it collapsed. I don't expect Murdoch's propaganda
to deal with WTC7's symmetrical, freefall-rate
controlled demolition, or to explain 'scientifically' why molten iron was
found in the
basements of all three buildings.

Excerpt: Forget about the talking heads' narrative about
the "sagging prospects" of Obama's HC reform.
Much of the same gang was completely convinced
that Obama could never win the nomination
-- and once nominated would have a hard time
winning the election.
There shouldt be a penalty for pundits who
make self-assured predictions that are regularly wrong, and yet continue to be treated as if they
know what they're talking about.
The fact is that the odds are very good that President
Obama will succeed in passing HC reform this fall
- with a robust public health insurance option.
The reason is simple: it's the high political ground.
Yet another reason why I like poker so much.
I was watching Poker After Dark two weeks ago with Andy Bloch,
the most boring player in the game,
but he said something that was perfectly right and I'm forced to share
it with you :)
Somebody said something about something and another player said,
"Hell, I'd bet on that," and Andy said,
"Well of course - there's
no sense in saying it if you won't bet on it."
That's how poker players think - you have to watch what you say at a
poker table because if you mouth off,
someone's going to say, "I got $ 5,000 that says that's not true,"
and then you have to back down so
it's better not to start with the horseshit in the first place. Wouldn't
it be great if polittics worked that way?
Fuck, I'd soon be rich if I had a little start-up money.
Think how different the Sunday morning shows would be if, after getting
your prediction 100% wrong,
you had to put $10,000 in the jar and whoever was the most right after
90 days gets the jar's comtents.
Pundits can lie like a Persian rug and it's taken as the gospel truth
because nobody ever follows up.
Remember Chippy the Chimp?
Proof that
they're more stupid than a chimp
Steven Brill's Content Magazine (Sadly, out of business)
tracked the facts and predictions from
this group of pundits and compared them to Chippy the Chimp
who chose random yes or no answers.
It's not a coincidence that the four most accurate pundits are
Democrats,
and the four least accurate pundits are Republicans.
"Hi,
my name is Chippy the Chimp, and I'm much
smarter than George Will and Fred Barnes and
that fact simply can not be refuted."
The sons of bitches just lie and lie and they never have to pay for
those lies.
Chippy beat Fred Moron Barnes by 119 points! Think how Chippy would do against the FOX News bastards.
"Please
don't put me up
against Chippy the chimp!"
Did you see the old guy playing in the World Series of Poker last Tuesday
night on ESPN?
This guy was 94, the oldest to ever play in the WSOP and the camera
was on his table.
The flop came 6-6-7
and the old guy bet $1000 which
was a very tiny bet.
The young punk in the game says, "Grandpa,
you want to get all the chips in?" and he pushes all his chips into the center of the table, about $15,000
worth.
The old guy thinks for a second and pushes all his chips in,
too.
The young punk turns over 6-7
so he's got a full house, sixes over sevens.
The old guy starts taunting him - "You
gonna lose, Sonny." but his cards were still hidden.
The tension was pretty high so the table started yelling, "Turn
your cards over," and the old man turned over 7-7
giving him a full house, sevens over sixes.
I've only seen that happen once before and I've seen a LOT of poker
on TV.
When they say poker can break your heart, that's what they're talking
about.
Sometimes the worst thing in the world is when you get the cards you
wanted the most.
"Slavery built the South. I’m not saying we
should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits.
For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.

Always agreed with you that Hillary was the one
who could end these stalemate clinches with a vicious stab of realpolitic.
She knows better than perhaps anyone on the planet
that there is no reasoning at all with Republicans, who will do absolutely
anything to win even the smallest political argument.
Hillary always had a keen brain and the burning lust for revenge in her
heart.
If we'd had President Hillary Clinton, the senate
would have been kinda like "The Bride" tear-assing through the crazy 88.
If Obama is STILL playing rope-a-dope, it's time
he threw his first punch.
It's starting to look like he's getting his butt
handed to him out there, and the Democrats
are lining up to stab him in the back. The usual
deal.
This is some great stuff, Bart.
The News Aggregate site Fark.com has had several
threads about it that I have been more than happy to contribute to.
I went to Examiner.com where they had an article
up about their disgust about these threads on Fark.
I posted that I wanted to kill Glenn Beck and
was wondering if I could do it myself or would have to hire someone to
do it for me.
I was told by some monkeywinger to expect a visit
from the Feds soon and to take some soap on a rope to prison.
(They sure are interested in anal, those Republicans.)
Funny - it's OK to say you want Obama dead but
you can't threaten Glenn Beck?
Eventually, someone revealed to the gullible idiots
that my words were taken
from a Glenn Beck quote about wanting to murder
Michael Moore.
Good times…good times.

Yes, it's uncanny how often the guy screaming at thew gays the loudest

Excerpt: Washington, nanny of the entire world's drug
laws, is closely watching Mexico's recent decriminalization of drugs
but respects its neighbor's move as a tool
in the fight against drug cartels, two senior U.S. officials said on Thursday.
Mexican President Felipe Calderon last month signed
a law legalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana, heroin, opium, cocaine, methamphetamine and
LSD for personal use, three years after the country ditched a
similar plan under pressure from the buttinski
Bush bastards.
More than 13,000 people have died in Mexico's
drug war since late 2006. The escalating conflict appears to have
nudged the United States, now under Obama, toward
quiet support despite its own prohibitionist federal laws.
"We will take a watchful attitude. It is clearly
in the authority of the government of Mexico to pass these laws,"
U.S. drug nanny Gil Kerlikowske told Reuters
during a visit of border governors to Monterrey, Mexico.
Mexico says the new law frees it up to go after
major criminal cartels that move
billions of dollars of narcotics into the United
States, the world's top illicit drug market
I'm speechless.
Legal cocaine, legal heroin - legal opium - legal meth - legal LSD.
- but I know the situation in Mexico is so bad it could bring down
the government.
Kemo is just someone suffering from not enough
info and an inability to think properly.
He has an infantile fear of bogeymen....
The T4 program was brutal and far more complex
than Kemo would like to have it.
To compare the highly democratic proposals for
healthcare in the USA to a Nazi program
that killed over 100,000 people, is actually
shameless, a minimizing of the true gruesomeness
of the Nazi program, which served as a pattern
for the Final Solution, by the way.
(They experimented with gas in chambers in various
asylums).
Actually, to even equate Obama with Hitler is
disgusting.
In Germany, these people would probably be prosecuted
under some law against calumny.
My qualifications for saying this: In 1987, I
wrote an article for the Berkshire Eagle
about the trial in Frankfurt of two of the last
living doctors, Ulrich and Bunke.
I also read the great works of Ernst Klee on
the subject and spoke to people who saw it all happening.
People like Kemo are simply disgusting.
Marton
Actually, I think Kemo is uneducated, and that's not being mean - I
think it's being factual.
When Obama decided to run for president, he had to have known America
was full of uneducated people.
Right now he's struggling to reach the I-hate-Black people who adore
Beck, Pigboy and FOX News.
Obama beat Hillary with the help of the Republicans and the media.
It's possible that, for the first time, Obama finds himself in a fair
fight.
(His previous victory was against substitute handjob Alan Keyes.
Remember Seven of Nine's GOP ex-husband forced her to go to sex-swap
clubs.
"Rethugs
are such dogs..."
That revelation gave Obama his only victory prior to 2008.)
... so we have absolutely no idea how strong Obama's chin is.
I hope I'm wrong.
If Obama loses this health care fight they'll call him Jimmy Carter.

It's getting worse and our side is ignoring the problem.
The attempt to dismiss Laura Bush's accident
victim as a down payment on Bush's legacy is not merely an act of political convenience, a smokescreen
blown by Republicand eager to paint the Bushes into the ‘Last Supper’ of conservative apostles, with oils of their
choosing. The Richt is speaking from the dark heart of collectivism, a belief system that will collapse if it acknowledges
any area in which the rights of an individual absolutely trump the needs of the State. The modern super-state
depended heavily on the Bushes for its existence, as dozens of news anchors have been eager to explain. The
idea that the epic narrative of the State should be compromised in the name of justice for a random citizen

> "As I remember, Davis was pulled from office
because he wanted to pay the California's bills."
Kinda, but Davis was really pulled from office
because he wasn't very popular and there were some GOP handjobs who saw
it
as an opportunity to get rid of him. At
the same time, California started going through the Enron (and their ilk)
caused rolling blackouts
and rising energy prices. Gray Davis was
blaming Enron (and their ilk) saying they were gaming the system to jack
up rates and wanted
investigations, trying to get some of the billions
back. Republicans mocked him and said it was all his fault (and that
of environmentalists)
and used the energy emergency and his falling
popularity to get him recalled.
In the end, he was recalled, but vindicated.
It was shown the electic companies were gaming the system, "moving" electricity
around
and making it look like there were shortages
when there were not. California did get back some of the billions,
but not as many as
we were screwed out of, and by then, Davis was
long gone from office.

Excerpt: ABC News anchor Charlie Gibson was so "livid"

that he didn't even mention her in his retirement
announcement, it was reported yesterday.
For her part, Sawyer publicly and privately spoke
well of Gibson.
Rumor is she asked, "Can't we talk Charlie into

I have no reason to respect Charlie Gibson, other
than he's not Glenn Beck, but even I
think Gibson is too smart to announce his retirement
without asking who would get his job.
And if he doesn't care enough to arrange that,
what's he so upset with now?
Who is covering Sarah's health care bills?
A sugar daddy?
Does she not have a concern about preexisting

a grandchild in the house) that might keep an
ordinary citizen locked in whatever job they might get?
Is she covered by COBRA? Or do even those

Excerpt: A portly man outside a Town Hall meeting carries

A middle-aged banshee screams "Nazi" at a pro-health
care reform Israeli emigre.
Tap dancing Tom DeLay demands that Obama show
the world his "gift certificate."
Rep. Michele Bachmann says that prayer and fasting
will defeat health care reform.
Meet the Stupids circa 2009, folks, a familiar
perfect storm of the flimflammers and the flimflammed,
united as one to make nonsensical noise. I say
"familiar" because, no matter how aberrated the recent spate
of AstroTurf antics may seem, they are as American
as apple pie. In fact, they are based on two of this country's
founding principals: paranoia and righteous stupidity.
Our foundation in a nutshell using the above precepts:
"We've arrived in a new land. Look!
People with red skin! Let's kill them before
they kill us!" and "It's okay because God is on our side."
Seen through such a prism, it's no wonder, then,
that you have someone like Bachman whining that
Obama is "reaching down the throat and ripping
the guts out of freedom" or that someone
is protesting health care reform with a sign
reading: "Stop the Trojan horse of Islam."
I see this as a very real problem that
demands to be forcefully addressed immediately.
I wonder if more people agree with that or disagree?
For crying out loud you I’ve seen you bring up
this “phony” Kos poll a few times now.
It WASN’T phony. It was a straw poll among regular

users favored.
It never pretended to be anything other than what
it was.
Kos has lots of these polls at the site.

I think we may be arguing about different things.
We must be, because I don't think I can be wrong on this - but
I may have used imprecise words.
Let me ask you:
What if I took a poll and asked 8,000 people,
"Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi?" and
the results had Pepsi at less than one percent. Would you think that poll was fixed? I'd think
the results would be around 50- 48%.
Theorectically, sure, it's possible to meet 8,000 people of which
99 percent prefered Coke,
but really, you can't seriously suggest that the KOS/Hillary poll was
legit, can you?
And just to make it worse, CNN used that KOS poll as "evidence" to suggest
Hillary
had less than 1 percent of support with "the
Left's biggest and most important blog."
I do not care what the Rethugs say or think. I
do not want to debate them. I do not want to know what their position
is on anything.
I don’t think these so-called birthers or teabaggers
are the innocent, frightened little citizens they pretend to be.
They know they are lying, just like their heroes,
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck know they are lying.
They have adopted an ideology (We’re good; everybody
else bad), and they are clinging to it, regardless of the consequences
for other Americans or the world, for that matter.
Fuck you, Republicans. I’m tired of your bullshit. And that’s what it is.
There are facts, and there are opinions. And
you have foisted your opinions on us for far too long.
Fuck you, Republicans.

Tickets for the Saturday evening event are $25.
Beck's advertiser abandonment has snowballed since
