Subject: Gibbs
Bart:
Robert Gibbs, White House press secretary, is once again dumping on the
liberals in the party.
How about we liberals demand that Gibbs be fired so that the various
idiots in the White House
see that they at least have to be polite to us.

Maybe we could ask Glenn Beck to demand it.

Subject: Darrel Issa
Issa, car thief, threw his Bro under the bus and escaped, according to
newspaper accounts of public record.
Made his millions selling car alarms. Was elected rep in OC and started
the recall effort here that put
the Governator in charge of destroying CA. He was installed for that
purpose, a political hit man.
The political process cannot defeat them, they are thugs who are in
control of our military, mass media
and every aspect of our society.. Any discussion of a political remedy
is a circle jerk where every one
gets off and only one gets all the chowder. Sounds like fun till they
come for you.

Subject: counterpunch
Dear Bart:
Alexander Cockburn was a long time contributor to The Nation, to which
I subscribed for many years.
He was one of few to write about the Contra-Cocaine scandal. I
also subscribed to Counterpunch for
a couple of years. I dropped that subscription when Cockburn
started defending the Warren Commission,
using childish insults for those who questioned it, and then started
blaming Clinton for the Mena airport
part of the Contra-Cocaine scandal.
In my opinion, Cockburn is a deep cover disinformation agent, even
deeper than Huffington and that
traitor who wrote the book on Kissinger. He spent years
building his credentials with the left so that
he could misinform them on matters most threatening to the
BFEE. He and The Nation cannot
possibly believe what they say about the JFK assassination and 9-11.
By the way, the Zionists thought you were anti-Israel.

Subject: Wal-Mart raising prices
<> Bart, my
friend
grew up in a small town that had a thriving downtown area back in the
'60s and '70s
-- butcher, baker (no candlestick maker), supermarket, hardware
store, appliance store, florist shop, etc.
-- all profitable businesses owned by people who lived in the
town and hired local people at reasonable wages.
Then Walmart moved in about 15 years ago -- well, they actually built
about a mile outside of town
to avoid paying local taxes. It was uncanny -- every week in the local
paper if the hardware store had
a sale on, say, Stanley tools, or the supermarket put grapes on sale,
Walmart would have a big ad with
the same items on sale for much less, as in 50 or 60 percent less.
Eventually, unable to compete, all of the local stores went out of
business and the downtown area is now
a deserted ghost town except for a coffee shop that's still open.
So now, everyone in the area is forced
to shop at Walmart whether they like it or not, or drive 35 miles to
shop at another big box store.
Any surprise that there are no more 50 and 60 percent off sales, they
pay the help barely-get-by
minimum wage, or that prices for everything at the Walmart have
been gradually rising since
they killed off the competition?
BTW, the local weekly paper closed its doors, too -- apparently ad
revenue from Walmart
wasn't enough to keep it in business.
Just another dismal tale from the front lines of our Republican 'free
market' economy.
Keep hammerin',
Rick

Big Brother Conundrum
This was posted Thursday, 4 PM Central, three hours before showtime.
The Big Brother house has been in an uproar over Rachel since Day One.
She is the greatest reality TV star ever because everybody hates her -
everybody.
She's a Vegas showgirl who's vain, self-centered and ungracious -
like she's from New Jersey.
Worse, she laughs after every sentence she speaks and it's the most
annoying laugh ever.
Each week, the entire house - minus Rachel and Brenden, her boyfriend -
scheme to evict her.
Week after week, they've managed to escape by inches and the house
wants her gone - NOW!
In three hours, one of them, Rachel or Brenden is scheduled to be voted
out.
BUT, that would bring peace and tranquility to the house - death to a reality show.
Without the house's sole outsider, everyone will get along - death to a reality show.
I hereby brazenly predict that CBS and Big Brother will change the rules to keep Rachel,
which will cause a tsunami of turmoil in the Big brother house, which
is reality TV gold.
