Seven months before Iowa starts the voting, it's turning into a battleground among the populist wing
of the party for the right to take on the establishment wing in later states.
The populist wing, which dominates Iowa Republicans, consists of social conservatives and teabagging huns.
They are mostly motivated by racism, but abortion and gay marriage and fervent opposition to big government
are also factors.
Its candidates include Batshit Bachmann, Herman Cain (R-Extra Cheese), and dog sexer Rick Santorum.
It also would include Palin if she jumped in.
The establishment wing emphasizes more traditional Republican issues such as racism, taxes, spending and
government regulation. Its candidates include Romney, Jon Huntsman (Who?) and Squeaker Gingrich.

Obama pressed his case on Saturday for achieving deficit reduction, in part by ending tax breaks
and singling out hedge fund managers, oil companies and billionaires to take the hit.
Obama is locked in a dispute with Republicans over how to bring down the deficit as part of a deal
to raise the debt ceiling and prevent Washington from default.
Democrats insist that some tax increases be included in a deficit-cutting package.
Republicans say that would be bad for the economy.
I wish Obama would learn to say "Screw you" to somebody besides the "professional Left."
He should start right now and tell the GOP to eat shit and die.
They screwed the economy with their tax breaks for the super-rich.

The sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as investigators have
uncovered major holes in the credibility of the housekeeper who charged that he attacked her in his NY
hotel suite in May, according to two well-placed law enforcement officials.
Although forensic tests found unambiguous evidence of a sexual encounter between Mr. Strauss-Kahn,

At the time, someone suggested it could have been a set-up by Strauss-Kahn's political enemies.
I remember aaking the question, "If this guy was so out of control that he couldn't stop himself
from raping a hotel maid, why would that trait wait until he was 62 years old to come out?
Another thing: When this story broke, our whore media said,
"It was widely known in financial circles that Strauss-Kahn was a sexual predator.
He even had a name 'The Seducer.' "
I remember writing at the time:
You knew he was a sexual predator and you kept that secret?

A former Reno Catholic bishop who has been embroiled in sex abuse cases involving
former priests recently is resigning from his post in California.
Pope Benedict XVI accepted the resignation of Bishop Daniel Walsh of the Santa Rosa, Calif., diocese.
Walsh was appointed bishop of Reno and Las Vegas in 1987. When the Reno diocese was
created in 1995, Walsh became head of Vegas Church. Santa Rosa diocese spokeswoman
Deirdre Frontczak says Walsh is “very tired” after a “difficult decade.”
Well, after a decade of rapes, who isn't tired?
Walsh’s resignation comes a year short of his mandatory retirement at age 75.
The Santa Rosa diocese has been hit with two lawsuits under Walsh’s tenure involving alleged
child sex abuse by former priests. In 2006, Walsh was threatened with criminal charges for failing
to report the alleged misconduct of the Rev. Xavier Ochoa, allowing him time to flee to Mexico.
Walsh agreed to participate in counseling and was not charged.
Well, of course he wasn't charged.

I don't understand why Obama is even negotiating with Congress over the debt ceiling when
the 14th Amendment gives him the power to bypass Congress and order the debt ceiling raised.
I'm sure if Bush were still president he would hesitate to bypass Congress on the debt ceiling.
This is a national emergency. We can not allow the Republican party, who is trying to destroy
Medicare to hold America hostage.

Was driving back from McCarthy late
last night and stopped to look at the old Kennicott Railroad
train trestle at the Husalina River and looked up to see this owl staring down at me from a beam over the river.
It sat there for about 10 minutes allowing me to take some great closeup shots.
I felt extremely fortunate to have had the rare opportunity to view one of these beautiful
creatures up close, I have only seen a handful of owls in my entire lifetime. :o)

But the GOP sells these idiots on the lie that this would be "socialism" and that means

but people with limited (or no) income can contribute by visiting the Mystery pages.
Men can contribute highly by visiting the Hottie pages.
(If you gals did the work, we could have Hottie pages with Men.)
If a dude's got nothing else to do, you could do worse than spending an afternoon with
a variety of hotties, in some cases you could contribute 100-200 visits per day just by
