"What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? A pit bull is delicious..." -- Obama, poking fun at Palin and his dog-eating childhood Link Send e-mail to Bart Rick Perry endorses Dog-on-Roof
Sure, now that he's the only Rethug in the race Link Rick Perry, the current Texas laughingstock and former language-mangling presidential candidate, has decided to endorsing Mitt Romney for president, are you still awake? "Mitt Romney has earned the Republican Presidential nomination through hard-work, a strong organization, and disciplined message of restoring America after nearly four years of failed job-killing policies blah, blkah, blah," Perry lied in a statement, according to ABC. Perry, who was forced to drop out of the GOP race in January because people were laughing at him, had originally backed sore-loser Newt Gingrich, who is expected to suspend his presidential campaign sometime between 2016 and 2020. But, ...where's the endorsement from Der Monkey Fuhrer? Where's the endorsement from Man-on-Dog? Where's the endorsement from Michele Bachmann? Where's the endorsement from Newt the Slime-monster? Dog-on-Roof can't even win over his own party and we're supposed to believe you when you say he can beat the guy who killed bin Laden? Send e-mail to Bart Shop Online

'Military Coup may be Needed' because Kenyan president not the right pigment Link In a column published yesterday, Newsmax's John L. Perry wrote that there is a "gaining" possibility that the military will stage a coup to "resolve the 'Obama problem.'" Newsmax has apparently removed the column from its site. Perry's author page has no mention of his latest work. You can read the full text here. The coup -- which would be "civilized" and "bloodless," according to Perry -- would consist of a "patriotic general" sitting down with the President and working out a new system in which "skilled, military-trained, nation-builders" would "do the serious business of governing and defending the nation" while Obama would still be allowed to make speeches. Obama, he said, is inviting such a "family intervention." This
kind of talk scares me because many Demoocrats don't believe in
self-defense.

e-mail to BartThere are what, TEN Democrats who own guns and would be willing to fight? If a few thousand gun nuts surrounded the White House and tried to get to Obama, I'm sure my liberal friends would be praying and dialing 9-1-1. Lotta help that'd be. Subject: lsrael Um.. There’s a major intellectual difference between “vanishing” in time and “wiping off the map” on both an abstract and literal basis. <snippage> No Name Really? Language is a funny thing. If I said, "I'm going to clean his clock," how would you translate that into another language? And if two people disagreed on that translation, would it necessarily make one of them a lover of violence? Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Iran Bart, My son just got back from Afghanistan, in Feb.( he's a Marine infantryman 0311) We were very lucky, in that, it was a short deployment, (6 months) however it was an especially difficult one. I've heard this said about the republican presidential candidates; 'They're brave enough to send our children to fight in Iran, but too cowardly to stand up to Rush Limbaugh." What a bunch of hollow men and women we choose to represent us. Pete Send e-mail to Bart Listing the facts is WRONG! Obama shouldn't mention he got bin Laden... Link Obama's reelection campaign on Sunday stood by its controversial web video which questioned whether Dog-on-Roof would have approved the Usama bin Laden raid -- as Ed Gillespie accused the president of twisting a unifying moment into a "divisive, partisan, political attack." "Maybe the comments he made a few years ago he admits are wrong, or he's flip-flopped on yet another issue," said Robert Gibbs, the worst Democratic spokeman since Dee Dee Myers. The Obama campaign is referring to a quote from Romney who once said, "it's not worth moving heaven and earth, spending billions of dollars, just trying to catch one person." Maybe Romney has a point. If catching or killing bin Laden didn't put more money in the hands of the super-rich, then it certainly wasn't worth going after him, right Willard? The facts are Bush and Willard both said they didn't care about getting bin Laden but Obama made it a priority and - did you know - Obama overruled Biden and then-Sec Gates, who both thoughts a Seals-on-the-ground mission was too risky. Gates resigned shortly thereafter. So, it's gotta suck for the GOP to know Obama did it better then their pitiful "war heroes." Ed Gillespie (R-Liar and Whore) is going to have to learn to live with that. It's only "divisive, partisan and political" when our side wins. Send e-mail to Bart Marty

Hey George, where's Stacy? Quotes "Shame on Barack Obama for diminishing the memory of September 11th and the killing of Osama bin Laden by turning it into a cheap political attack ad, This is the same President who said, after bin Laden was dead, that we shouldn't 'spike the ball' after the touchdown, And now Barack Obama is not only trying to score political points by invoking Osama bin Laden, he is doing a shameless end-zone dance to help himself get reelected. No one disputes that the President deserves credit for ordering the raid, but to politicize it in this way is the height of hypocrisy." -- Old John McCain (R-Depends) the guy who almost turned America over to Sarah Palin's brain Link John, I have two thoughts on this: Go fuck yourself. You handjobs did the touchdown dance when you fumbled the ball. . You said Obama would throw up a bunch of distractions to hide his record. Killing bin Laden is part of Obama's record so suck on it, loser. This Just In... Arianna Huffington (I-Needs Headlines) rips Obama for Osama ad: ‘One of the most despicable things....’ Arianna, proving how "fair and balanced" she is by attacking Obama in such harsh, personal terms. Cheryl Send e-mail to Bart Rubio: Violence on women OK At least that's how he voted... Link Senator Marco Rubio, Dog-on-Roof's possible towel boy, voted against the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), which has passed time and time again in a bipartisan fashion for decades. this year the VAWA became a partisan nightmare for women-hating Republicans, who opposed extending protections to LGBT people, immigrants, and Native Americans. Because violence against some women is deplorable, but apparently, not all women are equal in the eyes of the GOP. The Rabid Dogs in the House are slated to veto the bill next week. If passed, the two will have to be hammered out in committee. Obama is expected to sign the bill in the GOP doesn't kill it. Who else thinks violence against women is OK? Barrasso (R-WY) Blunt (R-MO) Boozman (R-AR) Burr (R-NC) Chambliss (R-GA) Coburn (R-OK) Cochran (R-MS) Cornhole (R-TX) DeMint (R-SC) Enzi (R-WY) Graham (R-Fabulous) Grassley (R-IA) Hatch (R-UT) Inhofe (R-OK) Isakson (R-GA) Johanns (R-NE) Johnson (R-WI) Kyl (R-AZ) Lee (R-UT) Lugar (R-IN) McConnell (R-KY) Moran (R-KS) Paul (R-KY) Risch (R-ID) Roberts (R-KS) Rubio (R-FL) Sessions (R-AL) Shelby (R-AL) Thune (R-SD) Toomey (R-PA) Wicker (R-MS) And the Democrats running against them can't hammer the GOP bastards into submission? I couldn’t believe it...." -- Trump, saying the GOP's "Obama is a rock star" commercials backfired, Link Send e-mail to Bart Garbage and Wildflowers Trip Report Link Send e-mail to Bart Sarah Palin Nude Link Subject: Who pays corporate taxes? Bart, Is there some sort of feud between the New York Times and Apple? In today's article, the NYT claims Apple is paying a very low tax rate, 9.8% last year, and compares that to Wal-Mart, who they claim paid 24% last year, "about average for non-tech companies." The original claim is that Apple paid 24.8% in 2009, 14.7% in 2010, and 9.8% in 2011. Well, as usual, the NYT blew it. They look at the amount paid in taxes in 2011 and compare that to the 2011 income. Sorry, NYT, just like the rest of the corporate world, the taxes on 2011 are paid in 2012 -- just like anyone whose taxes aren't taken out of their paycheck. Once you allocate the tax payments to the actual year for which they were paid, Apple has paid the following tax rates over the past three years: 2009: 31.2%, 2010: 24.4%, 2011: 24.2%. Yes, Apple pays a higher tax rate than Wal-Mart. Imagine a company that is large, but becoming rapidly more profitable. In Apple's case, for example, the 2009 profit was $12 billion, the 2010 profit was $18 billion, and with the iPhone 4S coming out in 2011 last year's profit was $34 billion. Now assume that, for each year, the company paid 25% profit. That means in 2010 they would pay $3 billion, in 2011 they would pay $4.5 billion, and in 2012 they would pay $8.5 billion. But by the calculations the NYT referred to, it would appear that this company paid 16.7% in 2010 and 13.2% in 2011. All because of a stupid error made by a report the NYT treats as accurate. Now, by comparison, ExxonMobile's average tax rate after subsidies was 17.6% in the years 2008-2010 -- and only 0.4% in federal income taxes, which is what the NYT is using to attack Apple. If we want to cherry-pick the data, in 2009 they made over $165 billion net profits, but got a net federal tax rebate of $156 million. Chevron made ~$20 billion profits and ended up with net tax rebates of $19 million. GE had the most amazing technique that year; GMAC lost a lot of money, so the company had negative net profits, receiving $1.1 billion in net tax subsidies -- plus, the government gave GMAC $13.5 billion in aid in 2008, and $2.8 billion more in 2009. Now apple's $8.5 billion paid in taxes looks pretty good! Russ Send e-mail to Bart Check out the news and toons at

Two and a Half Men Ratings Plunge by USA Today's Robert Bianco I used to like and respect Robert Bianco, but when it comes to Charlie Sheen, it's obvious that Bianco's hatred for Charlie is killing his professional objectivity. The ratings plunge is because it was Charlie's show. You could hire Ashton Kutcher to stand on a stage with Keith Richards but that wouldn't make their band The Rolling Stones. To suggest the show misses Rose the neighbor more than Charlie is too stupid to even consider. And if the producers are "bringing Charlie back" in the body of Kathy Bates, it's possible Charlie had a reason to not want to work for the sons of bitches anymore. And I would've even bring this up if it wasn't for America's whore media jumping on the "screw Charlie" bandwagon by announcing that "the shows' ratings are better than ever." Giving Kutcher Sheen's salary certainly didn't make him (or the show) any funnier. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Iran Bartman, Before we rush in to war with Iran, let's revisit Iran/Contra and examine the details of the Israelis selling arms to Iran for the Reagan Administration. Israel was a good enough friend of Iran to sell them arms in the 80's, but something happened between then and now to sour that relationship. I believe we might find an explaination for war if we look there. Just curious, Randy Send e-mail to Bart Shirley, caught looking girly in Las Vegas You any good at song lyrics? How do you rate this, being a connoisseur? Also won a bottle of Knob Creek, Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey aged nine years, chokes the hell out of me, think I'll stick with the Rose. Olevet Olevet, I don't like Tequila Rose for the same reason I don't put ketchup on prime rib. A good anejo tequila should never be cut - not even with ice. (Ice freezes your taste buds.) If you're going to make a margarita, might as well use the cheaper reposados and silvers. On the other hand, I love Knob Creek Kentucky straight whiskey! Just my opinion... Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Hypocrisy in North Carolina I've enjoyed Bartcop for many years and I must admit I start my day off with it every single day. Here's one that you might have some fun with: North Carolina is set to vote on "Amendment 1" in May. Amendment 1 is a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage but is so poorly written that it takes away protections from EVERYONE who isn't married but may be in a committed relationship. Speaker of the NC House, Thom Tillis has championed this amendment and guided it through the General Assembly to get it on the ballot. Everywhere you go in my area (Dumfuckistan, NC) you see these yard signs that say "Marriage = 1 Man + 1 Woman" Yesterday, it was revealed that his Chief of Staff (married) was fired for having an extramarital affair with a lobbyist for the housing industry (also married). Forget the same-sex marriage part and concentrate on the self-righteous, holier than thou "Marriage = 1 Man + 1 Woman" part......apparently this only applies when it's convenient. Otherwise it's OK to dip your wick just like all the rest of us sinners. HYPOCRITES!!! Mark Send e-mail to Bart Today's Mystery Car
