Arizona's Pink Panty Sheriff Arpaio is a Cruel and Heartless Bastard Link In Phoenix, Arizona, a large neon VACANCY sign looms over the Maricopa County jail complex, home to the infamous "tent city" – a facility as notorious as the tough guy Sheriff Joe Arpaio who makes it his business to keep it full. Arpaio's methods of rounding up and detaining prisoners, and the conditions to which they are subjected once inside his jails, have been relentlessly criticized by human rights groups. Yet, there is no indication that the VACANCY light will be switched off anytime soon. Inside the Pink Panty Sheriff's jails, the most egregious human rights violations occur. Last weekend, Reverend Peter Morales was taken on a tour of the complex. Morales said the first thing that struck him was the oppressive wall of heat. At this time of year, temperatures inside the tent city reach up to 140º. There are no fans. Needless to say, there is no air conditioning. Morales spoke to a few inmates and one of the issues they raised was the fact that they are not given enough time to refill their water containers. They also complain about the food. Inmates are fed only twice a day and Arpaio has boasted in the past of the food being rotten; green bologna is a specialty. Is Arizona as fucked as, say, Oklahoma? Arizona keeps electing this dangerous troll - why? He's like Jim Imhofe with a gun (not a compliment) He treats the inmates like animals because most of them "are." Niggers and Beaners don't deserve to be treated like people, right Joe? I think institutions like the NFL need to boycott Arizona until this clown goes. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Why did Justice Roberts do it? One thing that I think we can all agree on in regards to the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare is - WOW! Who would have expected Justice Roberts to make that decision. I've been thinking about that all day wondering what made him do it and I have a theory. I think Roberts had a personal experience with Reality. I remember when Roberts was sworn in. He was there with his wife and two small children taking the oath and you could tell that he loved his family. I can't help but to think that Roberts had a revelation and he thought about the future. I think that he pondered what kind of world he was leaving to his children. He recognized how his decision he made today would impact the lives of his kids and future generations. I believe that Roberts might have understood the effect his choice would make and that he just couldn't do that to the future of America. Morality comes from Reality itself. When one looks into the future and calculates the difference between doing what is right compared to doing what is wrong one realizes that if we are going to survive and continue to exist we have to make good choices. We are in fact the descendents of our ancestors who did what was right and species and cultures who didn't make the right choices are extinct. I'm going to give Roberts the credit for taking his role in history seriously and doing what was right for his children and his children's children. I believe that Reality spoke to John Roberts and that he chose to live in the right relationship with Reality. He was under a lot of pressure to do what was wrong and he refused. Last Thursday was a good day for America and we need good days if our nation is going to survive. Marc Perkel Send e-mail to Bart Marty

Link The bottom line is that child welfare services was never contacted. And Sandusky continued to stalk and abuse the area's disadvantaged boys for seven more years. The email is devastating on multiple levels, perhaps most for Paterno, who had escaped some measure of scorn thus far by having played the, in-hindsight-I-should've-done-more angle. According to Curley's email, Paterno participated more than he ever admitted, including likely talking Curley – and thus the others – out of the plan to turn Sandusky over to authorities. Take a second for that one to sink in. It is now perfectly reasonable to postulate that Joe Paterno protected Sandusky. Sandusky went right along with his business of showering with boys in the locker room, of bringing kids to the sidelines during games, of sitting in the press/luxury box area at games. Sandusky used the program's allure like a lollipop to draw kids into his van. I guess everyone heard the big bombshell, that had Sandusky taken the stand, his adopted son had agreed to testify that Sandusky molested him from the age of 7-15, when he lost his kid looks. What a nightmare, to be adopted by a pedophile. And Joe, I get what loyalty is about, but how could you look the other way, knowing Jerry was raping and molesting what might've been hundreds of children? Send e-mail to Bart Der Monkey Fuhrer: Still the Worst Was there ever any doubt? Delusional wars, torture, reckless spending and inflexibility equal disaster Link To fashion his rationale of success, Bush would make Iraq hospitable to the Western and the resulting stability would ensure the war's success and serve as regional example and beachhead for similar Wilsonian initiatives throughout the Middle East. This was — there is no kinder word for it — delusional. It was during the second term that things fell apart. The folly of the Iraq war became increasingly clear, and Bush’s credibility plummeted. Contributing to Bush’s problems was a personality disorder that hindered his ability to work with Democrats. He brought to his presidency a high level of sanctimony — an apparent conviction that he operated on a higher plane of rectitude than other politicians. Bush’s standing with the American people plummeted through his second term and his approval rating dropped to the lowest level of any president in thirty-five years. History likely will view Bush largely as the voters did after eight years of his stewardship. Send e-mail to Bart Murdoch: Scientology "weird, maybe evil" Are they evil enough to tap your phones? Link Rupert Murdoch, who was recently named "Biggest Asshole in the World" by the Brits, took to Twitter to weigh in on Scientology and sparked a big backlash. "Scientology back in news," Murdoch tweeted. "Very weird cult, but big, big money involved with Tom Cruise either number two or three in hierarchy." "Watch Katie Holmes and Scientology story develop," Murdoch wrote. "Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people." Murdoch is standing by his comments. "Since Scientology tweet hundreds of attacks," he wrote later. "Expect they will increase and get worse and maybe threatening. Still stick to my story." They say sometimes evil people can see evil when us normal people can't. Of course, all religions exist to comfort you - for a price. What a scam - you don't find out it's all a lie until you're dead. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Daniels will screw up Purdue just like Indiana Mitch Daniels to receive large raise as Purdue president Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels could earn more than five times as much salary when he takes over as Purdue University president. A memorandum of understanding between Daniels and the university calls for a salary comparable to those earned by university presidents at peer institutions, as well as performance bonuses. Outgoing Purdue President France Cordova earns $465,000. Indiana University President Michael McRobbie earns $533,120, which IU spokesman Mark Land says put him roughly in the middle for pay for presidents in the Big Ten. Ohio State University President Gordon Gee earns nearly $2 million a year. Former Purdue University Senate Chairman Morris Levy says he has ethical concerns about the board of trustees setting Daniels' salary. Daniels appointed eight of the 10 trustees. Bart, a lot of people don't seem to remember that "not my man Mitch" was up Bush's ass. He seems to have genius level talent at hiding and moving around money and saying he is slashing budgets while infrastructure and services go to hell. He is also a best bud to the wealthy. Purdue will surely suffer and it pains me being the Boilermaker fan that I am. Jeff Send e-mail to Bart Check out the news and toons at

Sarah Palin Nude Link Send e-mail to Bart Subject: how Obamacare helps poor people buy insurance Bottom line is they get a tax credit that pays for it, or most of it if they want a fancier policy. Keep up the good work. Jim Moore Send e-mail to Bart Subject: How the poor will afford healthcare... Because it will be much CHEAPER FOR EVERYONE. In 2014 the REAL non-profit health insurers will come onto the exchanges. They will offer better plans for less money because they don't have $12million annual CEOs to pay, or stocks to sell. You will be able to get away from the legalized embezzlers that you pay a premium to now. That new insurance won't be tied to a job. Those companies will be allowed to merge across state lines to offer larger risk pools which will bring down the prices even more. Eventually those will merge nation-wide, which is how we get Single Payer. More people in the pool = more money for health care, and less money in premiums because you will no longer be paying for the freeloaders who have no insurance. If you want to keep your present insurance you can. Your premiums should come down either way, but probably it will be a much better deal to go through the new non-profits unless MONSTERMEGACORPS decide to actually try to compete with them by lowering their prices. I don't see how they can compete and still make a profit - but who knows? Obamacare/ACA forces the market to function as a market honestly with no collusion, because it's all REGULATED again. Did you know that thanks to Obamacare, right now your insurance company must pay 85% of your premiums on health care - if they don't, they owe you a refund. Tally who is speaking to Bart again Tally, good to hear from you. Send e-mail to Bart Nugent, whining about the media No-talent Pants pooper throws another tantrum Link There is so much good news that goes largely unreported that it makes me want to scream. A couple of days ago, a 14-year-old boy in Phoenix shot a punk who busted through a door and pointed a gun at the young man. This is an incredibly wonderful news story that should be the lead story on the evening network news. It should be the front-page story in the New York Times. The Sunday morning talking heads should talk about it. But it won’t be covered by the media. Outside of the Phoenix area and this opinion piece in The Washington Times, this wonderful good-news story will not be heard or read. What a shame. Ted, one child murdering another is hardly "a wonderful good-news story." I own guns, too, but I don't have a celebratory toss-off when one kid kills another. You and me? We're two different kinds of people, Ted. And if this is such a wonderful good-news story, why don't those crazy, bought-off whores at FOX News run the story wall-to-wall? Half the time you loons are screaming, "FOX is the biggest news network ever," and the other half you scream, "We can't get our propaganda out." Please decide what your position is, Ted, and stop hopping around like a Kansas City faggot. (This is a test - is Blazing Saddles humor too much for liberals in 2012?) Link Tom sent me a DVD of Code of the West, (See Trailer here) which features much of his story, but it's mostly about the insane busybodies who have nothing else to do but crusade against dying people getting their medicine. Buy DVD HERE It was so frustrating to watch because it proves we haven't learned anything since f-ing Reefer Madness. "We have to get rid of medicinal pot because what if our children got hold of some?" Well, what if your kids get hold of your Jack Daniels? What if your kids get hold of your Oxycotin? What if your kids get hold of your Smith & Wesson? What if your kids get hold of your vibrator? What if your kids get hold of your car keys? What if your kids get hold of your porn collection? What if your kids get hold of (gasp) playing cards and a poker game breaks out - what then? That's a really stupid reason to ban something, because "what if?" Republicans ALWAYS want less government, unless the sublect is pot laws or abortion or nudity or a thousand other subjects when the crazy bastards want MORE government.
