Well, here he is - unemployment's still up around 8 percent - and he's doing anything he possibly can to keep power. There's no way he's going to give it up," -- that doddering old man who argues with empty chairs for long periods of time Link Clint, you're lying again. Do you really have nothing better to do spread lies about America's President? Obama never said he wouldn't seek a second term - are you crazy? He said, "If unemployment stays high, we're looking at a one-term situation." That's hardly a promise to not seek a second term. Plus, you act like he's the first president in history to want a second term - is you crazy? Send e-mail to Bart Romney Campaign "Disasterous" Says intern-killer Joe Scarborough Link Add Joe Scarborough to the list of Repugnants who are upset with how Romney is running his campaign. “How can it be that this man who turned around countless businesses, saved the 2002 Olympics, and ran Democratic Massachusetts like a pro is the head of such a disastrous campaign?” Scarborough writes. He cites a litany of errors by the scum-sucking, bottom-dweller. • Who was responsible for burying his convention video behind the bumbling bluster of Clint Eastwood? • Who told Romney to issue a political broadside against the commander-in-chief the day after a U.S. ambassador was murdered? • And who decided that Romney would use his general election campaign to stand for absolutely nothing? ha ha As for the debt, “when it comes to balancing the budget, Mr. Romney has no plan,” Scarborough writes. And as for defense spending, “all Mitt Romney can do is promise bigger budgets and longer wars.” Joe Scarborough may have killed a young girl in his office but he sometimes speaks the truth. Send e-mail to Bart The Lost Soul of Mitt Romney by Rick Unger at Forbes Magazine Link While the Romney campaign chose to turn the events in Benghazi into a political opportunity, a check of Twitter and other communications sources reveals that, as of the time of publication of this piece, Romney has not yet seen fit to so much as express his condolences to the families of the Americans who lost their lives in service to their country. A close search of all sources reveals that no such statement has been forthcoming from the Romney camp. The Romney condemnation stated, “I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.” These words were uttered at the time when the families of our fellow countrymen were being notified of the terrible fate that had befallen their loved ones. Kate's Topless Photo Scandal French Tabloid Defends "Beautiful" Shots Link Kate Middleton and Prince William have been forced to put on their game faces while the tabloid world goes into meltdown over a French tabloid's publication of topless photos of the sunbathing duchess, taken during a vacation in Provence. While the royal family has already called out the magazine for the "grotesque" violation of privacy, Closer Magazine's editor has spoken out, defending their decision to run the scandalous shots. "These photos are not in the least shocking," editor Laurence Pieau told AFP. "They show a young woman sunbathing topless, like the millions of women you see on beaches." There's a guaranteed way to be sure that nobody takes pictures of you topless and that would be to keep your top on when you're outdoors. You'd think somebody in the Royal family would figure that out. Plus, the average European doesn't set himself on fire if he sees a nipple. That only happens in backward Arab countries and the United Sates of Stupid. Send e-mail to Bart We're

Quotes "People on welfare didn't cost us 15 million jobs and trillions in savings. People on Wall Street did." -- LOLGOP in a tweet Send e-mail to Bart Romney's Humiliation Grows as more facts emerge on Libya murders by Joe Conason Link As essential facts emerge concerning the 9-11 incident in Libya, it becomes increasingly obvious that Mitt Romney should have kept his noxious, uninformed, and opportunistic remarks to himself. But Romney’s comments criticizing US diplomatic personnel in the wake of that tragedy have proved him unfit for leadership, even without the damning information that has made him look foolish as well. There was something truly vile in his statement accusing American diplomats of “sympathizing” with the extremists assaulting their embassy, when they were simply trying to defuse the Muslim anger that posed a grave threat to them and their colleagues. It was all too easy for Romney to pontificate from a safe podium while American diplomats risk their lives, as they do every day. (And to anyone aware that Romney avoided Vietnam by hiding in France, his nonchalant slurring of courageous public servants was especially unbecoming.) Joe makes a good point about Romney "pontificating from a safe podium." The day that happened, Limbaugh-with-a-vagina Laura Ingraham was talking real tough, too, but that's so easy when you're safe and sound in America. When you're in a embassy in a wild country, surrounded my millions of crazies who riot when they see a movie trailer, it's not as easy to be so brave. Send e-mail to Bart Romney Prepared for Obama's "Lies" Claims to know what Obama will say in the debates Link With the first debate less than three weeks away, Mitt Romney is getting ready. He told Judas Maximus that Sen. Rob Portman is a tough stand-in for a president who basically lies in debates. "I think the challenge that I'll have in the debate is that the president tends to, how shall I say it, to say things that aren't true," Romney said without offering any examples. "I've looked at prior debates. And in that kind of case, it's difficult to say, 'Well, am I going to spend my time correcting things that aren't quite accurate? Or am I going to spend my time talking about the things I want to talk about?" What? What's this poor bastard trying so hard to say? I'll tell you what we need for these debates: You know the guy who stands on the sidelines at a football game with the down numbers that flip over? We need one of those but the numbers have to go a lot higher than 1-4. Then, each time Romney tells a lie, someone can flip that next number over. Maybe Romney doesn't realize how much he lies. Remember last week on Meet the Whore? He promised he'd keep the "pre-existing conditions" part of Obamacare. But as soon as the cameras were turned off, his campaign released a statement that said ONLY people who currently have coverage would continue to have coverage and those who currently have not covereage can f-ing die in the street for all they care. Truth is, Romney can't speak without fucking up. His presidency would be one constant stream of disasters. As a comedian, that would be great. As an American, that would be awful, Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Republicans have to cheat to win 18 percent of Americans over 65 don't have the required photo ID to vote in Republican-controlled states that passed voter ID laws. Republicans are denying seniors the ability to vote in an election where Republicans intend to make severe changes to Medicare and Social Security. Republicans are cheating seniors out of their right to representation. The way I see it is that when a party has to cheat to win they are admitting through their conduct that they can't win on the merits of their position. I think that it is UN-American to cheat seniors out of the right to vote and that the rest of us who still can vote should stand up for our seniors. After all, we will someday become seniors ourselves and when we take care of our seniors, we are taking care of ourselves and the values that America stands for. We have to show Republicans that dishonesty is not an American value. Marc Perkel Send e-mail to Bart Marty
