Anyone watch the NFL game Monday night? In case you missed it, the Green Bay Packers
were screwed by the replacement refs, loosing a close game to the Seattle Seahawks due to
a blown call with no time left on the clock.
Although I feel for the Green Bay players and fans, I thought it was poetic irony that non-union
NFL officials ended up snatching defeat from the jaws of victory for Wisconsin Governor Scott
Walker's team. I wonder what he'll say today about the painful and unfortunate loss.
The fact is the last two weeks of NFL football have been a nightmare when it comes to officiating.
It has become clear to all those involved -- players, coaches, fans, broadcasters, etc. -- that the
replacement personnel are not up to the job. They have either blown one call after another,
like Monday night, or they're not calling penalties when they should, like in the Patriots/Ravens
game when it was obviously getting overly amped-up with skirmishes and fights.
They say Walker is FOR the refs getting their union rights,
but screw the people of Wisconsin for wanting the same.

Primetime coverage of global warming at Fox News is overwhelmingly misleading, according to a
new report that finds the same is true of information in the Whore Street Journal op-ed pages.
Both outlets are owned by the evil and crooked Rupert Murdoch. The analysis by the science-policy
Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) finds that 93 percent of primetime program discussions of global
warming on Fox News are inaccurate, as are 81 percent of Wall Street Journal editorials on the subject.
"It's like they were writing and talking about some sort of bizarre world where climate change isn't happening,"
study author Aaron Huertas, a press secretary at UCS, told LiveScience.
"It's clear that we're not having a fact-based dialogue about climate change," Huertas added.

Mitt Romney's recent slide in several polls, including those in the battleground states of Ohio,
Virginia and Florida, is troubling enough for the GOP. But, now the Republican nominee appears
to be trailing Obama among a traditionally conservative constituency: NASCAR fans.
Obama leads Romney 49 to 42 among NASCAR enthusiasts, according to a Zogby poll.
Romney was booed at the Daytona 500 in February prior to Super Tuesday.

I hear the Republicans talking about the "makers and takers" as if they are the "makers"
and the people at the bottom 47% are the "takers". The way I see it the makers are the
people who get up and go to work in the factories and work real jobs paying payroll taxes,
and the takers are the millionaires who sit at home trading stocks and commodity options
on Wall Street who get most of the government handouts and bailouts leaving us makers
stack with their deficits.
When the rich complain that working class people don't pay income taxes that's because
