Quotes

"I can't stop crying - America has died."

--  former SNL Nazi Victoria Jackson on election night

Have you seen this nutjob lately?
Howard Stern had her on as a goof and she's completely crazy.

"We have to get rid of Obama so we can get back our freedoms!"

"Which freedoms have you lost under Obama?"

 "ALL of them!"

I've argued with people like her and there's no way to reach them.

 Subject: Dan in Alabama

Completely agree with everything he said.

All day Tuesday, I was FIRED UP and READY TO GO.
I felt really HAPPY, and surprisingly positive.

But lurking in the depths of my psyche, I discovered because of the horrid Bush years, and the
stolen elections of 2000/2004, I was like an abused spouse suffering from PTSD, waiting for the
electronic voting theft to happen again. I didn't even pre-buy any celebratory champagne.

I waited until they called it, then ran to the store, where there were a bunch of other people just like me,
buying cake and champagne. It was a party! In fact, most of the REAL champagne was already gone.

Then, when Romney was refusing to concede because of Rove, I expected the worst.
Even Wednesday morning I was almost surprised President Obama was still the winner.

I guess Ohio and Florida's turnout was too big to steal.
That, or Jon Husted got too much last minute press regarding the tabulator "patches"
he illegally installed, and decided Rove wasn't worth going to prison for.

Nobody worked harder to get Obama re-elected than Tally.
She stuck with him even when you'd have to be crazy to stick with him.

From India...

Rove's Very Bad Night

 Link

Karl iRove was the most prolific fundraiser for Republican causes during the 2012 election.

Rove got GOP fat cats to hand over $300 million, hoping to help turn the White House
over to vulture capitalist Romney and control of the U.S. Senate to rich, white Republicans.

In a $6 billion campaign, Rove's ability to part wealthy Republicans from their money made him
a force in the party's effort to take down Obama.  As it turned out, Obama held the White House
and in nine of the 10 Senate races where Rove spent the most money, the Democratic candidate won.

ha ha

On Wednesday, Republicans' discontent was evident.

Conservative activist Richard Viguerie said in a statement Wednesday that "in any logical universe,"
Rove "would never be hired to run or consult on a national campaign again and no one would give
a dime to their ineffective Super PACs, such as American Crossroads."

Rove spent $11 million fighting Tim Kaine in Virginia, $7 million fighting Shelley Berkley in Nevada,
and $6 million in both Ohio and Wisconsin, opposing Senator Sherrod Brown and Tammy Baldwin.

Only Berkley lost on Tuesday.

Well, it's nice to see Rove's reputation tarnished beyond saving.

Too bad it happened AFTER he helped the Bush bastards rob America into bankruptcy.

Bad Times for Racist GOP
Will they change or keep losing?

  WaHoPo

There’s almost nothing in Tuesday's election results that contains good news for Republicans.
This was an across-the-board beating from the presidential level on down and presaged future
struggles at the national level for Republicans unless the party can find a way to broaden its
coalition beyond racist white voters. If Republicans continue to lose Hispanics at a 70-30 clip,
Arizona and Texas will be swing states in 2016 or 2020 at the latest.) Republicans, if they want
to win, have to find a way to put the emphasis on winning issues (job creation, debt reduction)
and not on their favorite race-baiting issues that are now proven stone-cold losers.

Subject: bewilderment

Bart,

No doubt Rove and Limbaugh had it on good authority everything would be stolen
neatly and invisibly, and now they can't figure out how it was stolen back.

Thus their anguish, bewilderment, and complete disbelief in the results.
It was in the bag, maaaaaannnnnn!

Now they're listening to the soundtrack from The Sting.

What Obama's Win Means

It means a lot of things so I thought I'd mention a few:
America finally has a national health care system.
Pre-exisiting conditions no longer kills your chances at getting insurance.
Since everybody's on the plan, maybe hospitals will stop charging $150 for an aspirin.
The Supreme Court won't be stacked with Earth-is-flat crazies.
The Dream Act will not be repealed.
The Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson wasted all their millions - ha ha
Their money wasn't as strong as the truth.
Democrats have another double-winner.
Clinton was our only double winner in fifty years and now we have another.
If Gore and Kerry had chosen to fight, we might've had six terms in a row.
John Bolton won't be Secretary of State.
The race part of this has mostly gone away  and by that I mean they can't say,
"We tried a nigger president and he was awful - we won't make that mistake again."

Maybe Obama is now free to act like a Democrat.
He can stop using his patented "Whatever you want" style of diplomacy.

And if the Teabaggers continue to run the GOP, their craziest nutjobs
will win the primaries and the GOP will fill up with Todd Akin-class sickos.

Republicans, of course, will listen to Rush Limbaugh and nominate some can't-win radical
like Paul Ryan in 2016 and and that'll make Hillary's decision to run that much easier.

Ted Nugent Uses His Mouth

  Link

Count Ted Nugent a sore loser and the most racist dick in music: the vocal scumbag
went on a disgruntled Twitter tirade after Obama's big victory Tuesday night.

"Pimps whores & welfare brats & their soulless supporters hav a president to destroy America,"
Nugent wrote. "What subhuman varmint believes others must pay for their obesity booze
cellphones birthcontrol abortions & lives."

I know the racist language so I will translate for you:

"Pimps" would be your niggers.
"Whores" would be your nigger bitches.
"Welfare brats" are your nigger bastard children.
"soulless supporters" would be stupid whites who think Blacks are human.
"Subhuman varmits" are God's children who need to be executed before they can multiply.

Gee, I can't figure out how the Republicans lost...

Subject: How stupid is Michael Steele?

Bart,

Last night, on MSNBC, past RNC chair Michael Steele was interviewed about what Obama's reelection
means to Republicans.  He floundered a lot, but one of his main claims was that this was the first time
we had elected a president without him receiving a majority of the popular vote.

Well, first off, Obama received 50.3%; that's a majority.  Still, how often is a president elected without
a popular majority?  Oh, just in 1824, 1844, 1856, 1860, 1876, 1880, 1884, 1888, 1892, 1912, 1916,
1948, 1960, 1968, 1992, 1996, and 2000.  And we don't actually know about before 1824, since there
was no popular vote at that time.

So out of 46 elections, 13 of which were reelections, 17--37% of the elections--were decided with less
than a majority of the popular vote, including 1992 (Clinton got 43.01%), 1968 (Nixon  got 43.42%),
1912 (Wilson got 41.84%), 1860 (Lincoln got 39.65%), and 1824 (John Quincy Adams got 30.92%).

Even more interesting is the list of presidents who came to office while losing the popular vote.
The largest loss was John Quincy Adams, who received 30.92% while Andrew Jackson got 41.36%;
with no electoral college winner, that election was decided by the House of Representatives.

Other presidents who came in second in the popular vote were Rutherford B. Hayes (47.92% to
Samuel Tilden's 50.92%, 1876 -- where cheating in Florida gave the presidency to a Republican),
Benjamin Harrison (47.80% to Grover Cleveland's 48.63% in 1888), and, of course, George W.
Bush's 47.87% to Al Gore's 48.36% in 2000.  It's interesting to note that every single president
who won the electoral college but lost the popular vote was Republican -- and in two of those
cases the electoral count was highly disputed.

NFL: We Still Hate Pot
But we can't give you a reason why....

  Link

"The NFL's policy is collectively bargained and will continue to apply in the same manner it has for decades,"
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the day after Colorado and Washington voted to legalize the harmless drug.
"Marijuana remains prohibited under the NFL substance abuse program," he said, without giving his reasons.

In Colorado, Proposition 64 allows state residents over the age of 21 to possess an ounce of marijuana.
Washington's I-502 allows similar possession limits and pot will be taxed. It's estimated that legalization will
raise as much as $2 billion in revenue for Washington state over the next five years. That revenue will be
earmarked for education, health care, substance abuse prevention and government services.

The NFL is such a hypocritical bunch of bastards.
They embrace alcohol, which kills thousands per year, but they make it
a capital crime to try a little pot, which has never killed anybody.

It's like saying "Guns are OK for kids to play with,
but butter knives are banned because they're too dangerous."

Or why not decide to ban the color blue?
Yeah, any player caught wearing blue, even in the off-season, is banned from football.

The idiocy begins with our President.

When will he allow logic and common sense to taint his hatred of God's flowers?

Is Pot Legal Now in Colorado?

  Link

Amendment 64 has passed in Colorado, however, pot remains illegal in the United States.
So what does this mean for Coloradoans and those who might soon migrate to the state?

“This will be a complicated process,” said their governor, “but we intend to follow through.”

That means first he will sign the bill into law within 30 days. Then it’s up to the state’s attorney
general and the Colorado Department of Revenue, which already regulates the state’s medicinal
marijuana distributors, to come up with new regulations.

Does this mean Coloradoans who possess pot will be immune to the federal law?
The DEA, always the pricks, said, “the DEA's enforcement policy remains unchanged.”

The DEA had “no further comment” on how they would change the way they enforce the law,
indicating that Obama's illogical hardon against pot remains intact - for now.

Activists have been critical of Obama's "reefer madness" mentality, which means cracking down
on law-abiding marijuana dispensaries. “We are concerned with people who are using pot as a
pretext to become large-scale drug dealers,” Deputy Attorney General James Cole said last month.

That's pure bullshit, spouted by a moron with no logical leg to stand on.
You can still bust the big guys - why do you use that pitiful excuse?

You see an ounce of pot - you let it go.
You see a pound of pot - you can he as big as asshole as you want.

Obama no longer has to face the voters so he has no excuse not to do the right thing.

That is a photo of my former home of sixteen years, Seattle, Washington.
The Olympic Mountains are off in the distance, the Smith Tower is to the right

Here's to another four years of Obama.

Duckworth beats Asshole Walsh
One less asshole we need to hear from

  Link

The volatile race between Joe "You lie" Walsh, a Teabagger favorite, and Duckworth was one of the
nation's most closely watched congressional battles.  Walsh repeatedly attacked Duckworth, an Iraq War
veteran and double amputee, for speaking "too much" about her military service and implied that she
wasn't a "true hero." He also attracted national attention last month when he stated that he was opposed
to abortion, including when the life of the mother is at stake.

Dude, could you go fuck yourself before you leave?  He mocked her status as a wartime double amputee
and he also thinks pregnant women should die to save the fetus and --- he owes his ex-wife $117,00 in child support.

If the GOP won't weed these assholes out in the primaries,
we'll be glad to retire them when they run in November.
