Advertise with Bartcop.com, Spend Money, Make Money Two days just $35 One week just $70 Don't let Bush's recession beat you. Fight back! Advertise on bartcop.com We-need-a-GOP-civil-war Quotes "The GOP of old has grown stale and moss covered. I don't think we need to name any names, do we?" -- Rand Paul, mocking crabby, old McCain (R-Depends) Link "We don't need a new idea. There is an idea: the idea is called America, and it still works." -- Marco Rubio, saying there are no problems in the GOP Link "Todd's got the rifle, I got the rack.” -- Pub Ho Palin, bragging about the size of her chest Link But maybe the best quote of the week came from Steve Schmidt, the guy who ran McCain's campaign in 2008: "This CPAC convention is increasingly the Star Wars bar scene of the conservative movement. All that’s missing is a couple of Wookies.” Link Send e-mail to Bart Crazy Pub Ho Does it Again Revs up Nazi-fest with her wild screaming Link Sarah Palin served up red meat at the Nazi-fest Saturday, lambasting the Negro woth Horns and the “mainstream media,” sneering at efforts to “rebrand” the Republican Party, and telling Karl Rove to “go back to the Lone Star State and put your name on the ballot.” The quitter may have no prospects of (or interest in) becoming an elected official again; she may no longer have a high-paying sinecure as a Fox News pundit; and she may be too hot to handle, too tea-party threatening for mainstream Republicans looking to break a string of five losses in the last six presidential popular votes. ha ha “Moderation” and “accommodation” – ideas the GOP may need to approach if not adopt on issues like immigration and gay rights – would not describe this Pub Ho. Do you see why I predict we can't lose in 2016? When have election results been so obvious 44 months in advance? The Palins and Pigboys will NOT let the GOP become a mainstream party again. They lost five of the last six popular votes because they weren't Nazi ENOUGH. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: missing you this week Dude, Missing out on your page this week. I get paid tomorrow, and I'm going to Vegas. If I get inside the bubble, I'm donating my proceeds to the Treehouse. In other words, there's a very small chance of a donation coming your way, lol. Hope you're enjoying Alaska. Cheers, t Tom, thanks for that. I haven't taken a full week off in at over four years. My paycheck is going to be down 25 percent this month. Send e-mail to Bart Shop

This picture is all you need to know about Trump’s CPAC appearance and the lack of respect even conservatives have for this clown. Mario Piperni The Devil looks like Obama? Glenn Beck says so and he's always right Link The resemblance between Obama and an actor who plays the devil on History's "The Bible" has drawn more than a little notice. Glenn Beck was among the first to take to Twitter to point out the resemblance between Obama and the actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouzaani. A slew of tweets and news stories ensued, many from Obama supporters who weren't pleased. The History channel had no comment. I don't see the resemblance, myself. This guy doesn't even have horns... Send e-mail to Bart Cardinal: Raping kids NOT a crime No wonder it's an epidemic in the Church Link A South African cardinal who helped elect the new pro-rape pope this week has told the BBC pedophilia is an illness and not a crime. Cardinal Wilfrid Fox Napier, the Catholic Archbishop of Durban, told BBC Radio 5 on Saturday that pedophilia was a "disorder" that needed to be treated. "From my experience, pedophilia is actually an illness. It's not a criminal condition, it's an illness," he said. Napier said he knew of at least two priests who became pedophiles after they were abused as children. "Now don't tell me that those people are criminally responsible like somebody who chooses to do something like that. I don't think you can really take the position and say that person deserves to be punished. He was himself damaged." Cardinal: "Oops!" A gaffe is when you accidentally tell the truth Link A South African cardinal on Monday apologized for offending victims of child abuse when he described pedophilia as an illness and not a crime in a media interview. Victims' rights groups and others said the comments by Cardinal Wilfrid Fox Napier, the Catholic Archbishop of Durban, comments were insensitive, especially given perceptions the Catholic Church has not done enough to root out abuse. Not done enough? Name one step they've ever taken... "I apologize sincerely and unreservedly to all who were offended by the botched interview, and especially to those who have been abused and need every help and support that the Church can give," Napier said in a statement. So, calling it a "botched" interview is the closest he came to taking it back? Send e-mail to Bart Subject: you are wrong about drones Link Send e-mail to Bart Another Reason Thurston Lost Everybody knows the real Romney Link Romney really was exactly what he appeared to be. And it was very foolish indeed not to hide it better: The bartender who secretly filmed Mitt Romney's infamous "47 percent" speech had met Romney at a previous fundraiser. At that event, he also tended bar. He and Romney shared a typical bartender-to-patron moment. "I handed him a diet Coke with lemon on it," the filmmaker recalled, "because I was told that that's what he drank." Romney didn't acknowledge his server at all. "He took it and turned and didn't say anything," the filmmaker explained. "I presented him the exact right drink that he wanted ... Had it there, sitting there on a napkin. He took it out of my hand and turned his back without a 'thank you' or anything else." The filmmaker also worked a party where Bill Clinton was the guest and Clinton went out of his way to meet and greet the servers. Smart politicians know that everybody has a vote. Decent human beings always thank the servers. Romney isn't either. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: What are American Values? We Americans are proud of our "American Values". But what are our values? Our values are not what we believe, but what we do. It's what we do that defines who we are as a nation. On a day when Wall Street is at an all time high we as a nation are cutting services for the poor, the children, and the elderly. We are a nation that subsidizes millionaires on the backs of the poor. I think that's wrong and that's not the American Values I grew up to be proud of. This film is a puzzlement. Why it was allowed to butt up against “Oz the Great and Powerful,” another family film with magic that had “The Wizard of Oz” marketing edge? And the mixed to poor reviews didn’t help. Neither did the very tacky looking posters. When will Hollywood learn the public will not pay to see Steve Carrell in a movie? They didn't learn anything from that $175M disaster Evan Almighty? How many mega-disasters will it take before they learn Carrell's not bankable?
