O’Reilly ripped into fellow Nazi Laura Ingraham on his hate show last night, and Ms. Ingraham
responded in kind. The subject was gay marriage – specifically, whether it’s offensive for O’Reilly
to say that those on the right who simply “thump the Bible” in opposing same will lose.
It begins with O’Reilly saying that gay marriage proponents have successfully defined it as a civil rights
issue, which he called a “compelling” argument that social conservatives have yet to counter.
"The other side hasn’t been able to do anything but thump the Bible,” he said.
The vulgar Pigboy took umbrage at this. On his own hate radio show, he took out after O’Reilly,
calling him “Ted Baxter," after the pompous anchor from the Mary Tyler Moore show.

could be a claim that Pyongyang has improved its nuclear technology. Or a bluff.

Exxon NOT Required to Pay for Spill
Carter-era law lets them walk away

ExxonMobil will be required to fix the Pegasus pipeline, which has spilled an estimated 5,000
barrels of toxit shit into central Arkansas. However, ExxonMobil wasn’t required to pay into
the fund that will pay most of the costs to clean up the spill.
Pegasus carries crude oil that often contains a large amount of bitumen. And according to a 1980 law,
companies transporting this type of crude from the oil shales of Canada are not required to pay into
the trust fund. Only companies transporting conventional crude are required to pay the eight cents
per gallon that was used to clean up the 364 pipeline spills last year.
And, yes, the proposed Keystone XL pipeline would be shipping the same sort of crude
that allows oil giants to skip out on insuring against spills.

Subject: solving gay marriage
I had an idea the first time I heard of the idea of gay marriage, and people wanting to deny it.
The first thing that popped into my mind was separation of church and state. The idea is marriage
should be a purely religious act, separate from legal unions. And if they (G.O.P.) want to deny
marriage for gay people, the proper thing to do is to deny marriage to everyone. Make it so that
in all legal documents of all levels of government, state, local, federal... replace 'marriage' with
'civil union' - for everyone.
If you want to form a legal union with a spouse, go to town hall.
If you want to get married, go to your church.
If your church refuses your marriage, change churches.
That way we maintain separation of church and state, and your religion
can define your marriage, as the G.O.P. as been claiming it should all along.

Justice Rapes Lewis Taylor - Again
After
41 years of prison, one more indignation

Louis Taylor broke down in tears Wednesday as he described how he spent his first hours
of freedom after more than 40 years in prison for a hotel fire that killed 29 people.
Taylor was released Tuesday after doubts about his conviction surfaced and he agreed to
a deal that set him free. He pleaded no contest to each of the 29 counts of murder
against him in an agreement that allowed the judge to sentence him to time served.
So, "Justice" was asking, "Do you want to be innocent or go free?" and he chose to go free.
While he has consistently maintained his innocence, Taylor said he took the deal because
he wanted out now instead of remaining in prison for years more to seek vindication at a new trial.
Taylor also had to agree NOT to sue the lying bastards who framed him.
I ask again: WHY is it legal to frame someone for murder?
The lazy/crooked/incompetent cops stole 41 years of this man's life.
People say, "To hear them tell it, everyone in prison is innocent."
No, not all of them, just the poor Blacks who weren't given decent legal counsel.
Hell, even if you had decent legal consel, what if he/she tells you,
"You can plead guilty to a crime you didn't commit and get four years.'
OR you can gamble with the racist, all-white jury that might give you life?"
Perfect! Your choices are four years or life - and you did nothing wrong.
To this day, being Black is America is no picnic.
Think what life was like BEFORE 1964, when Blacks received the "gift" of civil rights.

Wall Street swindlers, Eastern European and Indonesian billionaires, Russian corporate executives,
international arms dealers and a sham-director-fronted company that the European Union has labeled
as a cog in Iran’s nuclear-development program.
The leaked files provide facts and figures — cash transfers, incorporation dates, links between companies
and individuals — that illustrate how offshore financial secrecy has spread aggressively around the globe,
allowing the wealthy and the well-connected to dodge taxes and fueling corruption and economic woes
in rich and poor nations alike. The records detail the offshore holdings of people and companies in more
than 170 countries and territories.
I'll bet the scam here is that their scamming is legal. They must have moved that money legally.
No way Romney is traveling with $5B in hundred dollar bills stuffed into suitcases.
They pay congress to write laws that say whatever they're doing is legal.
That's the real scam here.

Bart, thank you for a place that regular Americans can voice their concerns on social security,
and I would like to add medicare to the mix also. The simple fix for S.S.I. is to raise the cap.
The last time this happened was 1985 - problem solved.
Medicare would require a bigger solution than I have,but a partial fix would be to have the
government negotiate drug prices. To stardurst and Badtothebonebob, do your states have a
recall process?
Oregon has one, I think our senators and congressmen will vote the right way,
but maybe a grassroots effort should be started so it would be ready just in case they don’t.
