Since Ranch Prettyboy introduced the “Growth and Opportunity Project” in mid-March,
the party of Lincoln has proven over and over and over again that it just isn’t ready to change.
The latest example of the GOP being intellectually and politically stuck in the summer of 2012
comes courtesy of Rick Man-on-Dog Santorum. According to Santorum, the GOP's path to
revitalization is not a new round of engagement with women, young voters, and other groups
that delivered a landslide to Obamar. No, Santorum has a different plan for saving the GOP:
defunding Planned Parenthood.
The Raw Story reports that Santorum presented his three-point plan to save the party in a fundraising
email over the weekend: mobilizing “pro-family conservatives,” “refuting the lies and half-truths that
our detractors in the GOP are spreading about us,” and attacking the womens’ health care provider.
You probably can't see me, but here in Tulsa, I'm doing the Victory Dance without pants.
These ignorant cavemen have no idea what they're doing so they're doubling down on lady-hate.

I agree with you Bart I am not sure the use of nuclear weapons can be prevented
in a military clash with N. Korea. While they have a large and formidable army
US planes and ships would flatten the country
N Korea's only option under those circumstances would be to use one of their nukes,
mostly likely targeting S. Korea just because it would be easy to hit. I dont think the little
weeble running N Korea will launch a first nuke strike. His power base seems shaky and
old guard generals still want to stay alive. Its one thing to make bellicose statements about
annihilating your enemy its another to bring on your own annihilation by you enemy.

The population then stops complaining about a lack of food or heat or whatever the heck
North Koreans like. That being said, if North Korea ever attacked South Korea in any way
other than verbally the border would glow like a watch dial painter for 10,000 years.
The US would use the small tactical weapons to eradicate the threat. That's why they
only have 22K people there. They are basically saying "we don't need a lot of manpower
when we can just turn you into blackened kimchi at our whim."
Kim Jong Il knows that. And even though he is bat shit crazy, he's not suicidal.

attached a loaf of bread to each of them and send them northward.

The Pittsburgh Diocese has reported another allegation of clergy sex abuse.
Parishioners at St. James Church received a letter from the diocese about the allegation,
which is said to have occurred between 1981 and 1985. Mike Ference, a local advocate
for victims of sex abuse by priests, said the victim is a man in his 40s who recently died.
The man's family said the victim divulged detailed accounts just before he died.
The abuse began when the victim was 10. The family said the raping priest was
Rev. John J. Wellinger, who died in 2011.
Well, good thing they waited until everyone was dead to bring it up.
And what was the letter for?
To warn everyone that the child molester was dead?

Boy, 4, Kills Woman with Gun

A 4-year-old boy grabbed a loaded gun at a family cookout and accidentally shot
and killed the wife of a Tennessee sheriff's deputy.
Deputy Daniel Fanning on Saturday was showing his weapons to a relative in a bedroom
of his home when the toddler came in and picked up a gun off the bed. The weapon
discharged, hitting 48-year-old Josephine Fanning. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bryan says the shooting was a terrible accident and that within seconds of Fanning placing
the gun on the bed, the toddler picked it up.
A tragedy, but how could the deputy be that stupid?
Should the deputy do time for negligence?
What part of mixing guns and kids did he not get?
Plus, that four-year old now grows up with the knowledge that he killed someone.
