The White House released a new drug strategy on Wednesday, which does not
directly address the recent legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington state.
The plan does emphasize a trend away from criminal action against users.
"We cannot arrest our way out of the drug problem," stated a marble mouthed summary.
"Obama has made clear (that is such bullshit) we will not focus limited
Federal drug enforcement resources on individual drug users."
You say that, but then you threaten to arrest their LEGAL suppliers,
forcing them to deal with underground characters and ILLEGAL dealers.
Even in their bullshit disclaimer they say, "we will not FOCUS resources,"
which is just more marble-mouthed bullshit so you can have it both ways.
Somewhere, maybe Portland or Seattle, the police policy is:
"Arresting pot smokers is the LOWEST prioroty of this department,"
which is still weasel words but they're clearer than Obama's double-speak

A federal grand jury indicted a Catholic priest in St. Louis on Wednesday on child pornography charges
involving Internet images of a boy under the age of 18, in the latest sex accusation to rock the Church.
No, this doesn't "rock" the Catholic Church.
This is just the 3,577th priest who got caught.
William Vatterott, 36, was charged with possession of child pornography, according to the indictment.
He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000, if convicted.
The indictment is the latest in a series of abuse accusations to hit the U.S. Catholic Church over the
past two decades. The scandals have cost the Church billions of dollars in settlements and driven
prominent dioceses into bankruptcy.
Vatterott was also accused of an incident involving underage drinking and inappropriate behavior.
So, he got some little boy drunk and raped him?

On April 20, people around the nation celebrated the 4/20 holiday by smoking, toking and
eating marijuana. According to Obama law, they could all be arrested for using a Schedule I
substance, a classification that also includes drugs such as LSD, PCP and heroin.
Obama supports that law, or at least has done nothing to change it -- and he could, simply by
rescheduling marijuana out of Schedule I. Despite his past as a renowned ringleader of the
pot-smoking "Choom Gang" while growing up in Hawaii, his current Thirties-based position
offers little sympathy for marijuana, regardless of the drug's legal status in various states.
So, who is more evolved than Obama when it comes to pot?

I've avoided mentioning this until now, because I'm semi-in the computer virus repair business,
but so many of you have sent me spam, I can no longer read one line e-mails.
I'll get an e-mail from my good friend, say "Bill," who I know and trust, which reads,
"Bart, you're going to love this" and then there's a link to some spam site.
So if you send me a link, you have to write more than, "Bart, check this out - it's great!"
I assume you can check your "Sent" folder to see which contacts you've been spamming.
My super-tech Jordan can fix this - might cost you $80-$100 - but while he's in there
he'll give you a tune up and fix whatever else is broke.
This isn't techinically a commercial for Bartcop Worldwide Computer Repair,
but the fake e-mails have really gotten out of hand and (I assume) Perkel's filter
isn't stopping the spam e-mails because they always come from my friends.
Update
Yesterday I received several more spam e-mails from friend and subscribers.
One guy wrote to say he had the CONDUIT virus and he just got it cleaned.

I was brought up watching WWII movies that showed we were the good guys.
I continued to believe that through the nightly news images and body counts of Vietnam.
It wasn't until I went to college, and began learning about the other side of the glorious
country of America, that I bagen to understand the truth. We are the bad guys.
We have always been the bad guys. We may have taken a few years off between
1942-1945, but we went right back to being the bad guys.
I recently read Oliver Stone's book THE UNTOLD HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.
I knew a lot of what he wrote was true, but I was appalled at the magnitude and continuity of it all,
from one administration to another, all the way up to Obama. It sickened me to read it.
I became more ashamed to be an American with every chapter.
Most of the rest of the world has good reason to hate America.
