On Nov 9th in Texas, former prosecutor and judge Ken Anderson pled guilty to intentionally
failing to disclose evidence in a case that sent an innocent man, Michael Morton, to prison for
the murder of his wife. When trying the case as a prosecutor, Anderson possessed evidence
that may have cleared Morton, including statements from the crime's only eyewitness that
Morton wasn't the culprit. Anderson sat on this evidence, and then watched Morton get convicted.
While Morton remained in prison for the next 25 years, Anderson's career flourished, and he
eventually became a judge.

We've taked about this before,
America is so fucked, it's perfectly legal to frame a innocent person for murder.
How can we even live with ourselves?

It's happened hundreds (or thousands) of times and this crooked Tejas asshole finally
has to pay, with TEN DAYS in jail for making Mike Morton sit in a cage for 25 years.

Like I say, it's a start but aren't you ashamed of this stupid country?
They set it up so the rich and powerful can imprison any innocent man they want.

And in super-racist Tejas, that has meant, over the centuries, powerless Black men
have done time (or been executed) on the slighest whims of the evil white bastards.

The Florida Handjob Policy Council announced today that it will host Sen. Marco Rubio at its
2013 Annual Dinner. The FFPC is led by John Stemberger, the anti-gay activist who most recently
helped launch a Boy Scouts splinter group that will ban openly youths that God made gay.

Stemberger is far outside of the mainstream, but with Rubio preparing for 2016 he may use
this event to bash gays and soothe any doubts about his right-wing credentials.

Stemberger previously chaired Florida for Marriage, which spearheaded the campaign to pass a
state constitutional amendment banning same-sex unions, and founded the anti-gay Boy Scout
alternative Trail Life USA.

Stemberger has a long record of incendiary anti-gay rhetoric. He:

Claimed that being gay is an “artificial, social construct” that is “dangerous.”

Warned that the Boy Scouts will experience sexual abuse as a result of including gay members.

Said that people are gay because they think it is “hip” and “cool.”

Alleged that affirming LGBT youth is “tantamount to abuse” and “an abuse to that child.”

Once again, Rubio is proving why Republicans can no longer get elected nationally.

He's got to scream, "Screw those fraggots" to get the Nazi nomination but then
nobody will believe him when he says in the general, "I'm actually OK with gays."

I don't understand the MSM's fascination with Chris Christie.
(So he won another term - he was the incumbent. They frequently win.)

Even Chris Matthews said he could see Christie 'possibly' getting elected as president in 2016!
I almost choked.

Maybe Matthews should go and talk to some of the people in NJ still waiting for help due to
hurricane Sandy. (Those poor people would not agree with the phrase "Stronger than the Storm"
Christie used for his re-election).

Maybe he should talk to women/teachers/anyone asking a legitimate question
of Christie, only to get yelled at/bullied/ treated like dirt.

Christie IS a bully! He has a bad temper! He IS a conservative!
His is NOT a saint, or a savior.
I would not call hem a 'fresh face' either.
But the media has practically anointed him as their fair haired boy.

Sen. Rand Paul's handling of recent plagiarism charges adds doubts about his readiness
for a presidential campaign, some observers said Wednesday.

Stuart Rothenberg called Paul's response to the controversy a warning sign if he is looking at a White House bid.
"It raises questions about how he will handle being under the microscope," Rothenberg said.

Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics, said the allegations are serious.
"If (Paul) were at my school, he would have been expelled because of the honor code.

In a humiliating retreat from a piece she had staunchly defended, "60 Minutes" correspondent
Lara Logan admitted on Friday morning that she and the news magazine had made a "mistake"
in their reporting of a controversial story about the Benghazi attacks. She apologized to viewers
and said "60 Minutes" will issue a correction about the reliability of one of her key sources,
security contractor Dylan Davies, on its next program.

"We were wrong to put him on air," she said, adding, "We will apologize to our viewers and
we will correct the record on our broadcast on Sunday night."

It emerged on Thursday that Davies, who gave Logan a hair-raising, detailed account of his
actions during the 2012 attack, had previously told the FBI that he hadn't even gone to the site
where it took place. This was the second occasion where Davies had been recorded as saying
that he wasn't at the scene of the crime. He had already admitted to doing so once, but CBS
and Logan had firmly backed him, saying that he had lied to his employer to protect himself.

Lying to the FBI, however, is a different matter, and "60 Minutes" pulled the report and said
it was "reviewing" the new information to determine whether it had been misled.

That review led to Logan's apology on Friday morning.

I doubt ANYBODY believes this apology is for real.

Whore reporters ALWAYS say their goal is to get it right, but we know their
real goal is to be FIRST with the most sensational bullshit story they can find.

to close down four prisons and a remand centre.

Prison numbers in Sweden, which have been falling by around 1% a year since 2004,
dropped by 6% between 2011 and 2012 and are expected to do the same this year and next.

Sweden is run by liberals who have decided to fix their problems.
