Yo Bartcop!  I've been teaching history for 12 years in a school that is approximately 50% African American.
I've read some of the republican garbage that you've had on your site courtesy of Pigboy and Lanny.

I've yet to come across a Black Republican.  I've also yet to have a student who in any way likes or identifies
with Tiger Woo.  Even of Colin Powell many students say things such as, "He needs to come back and be Black."

That Charles Barkely has become a Republican because of being Upper Class is offensive to my students.
They do no recognize Clarence "Slappy" Thomas as one of them.  African Americans tend to be harshest on
those of their own people who they feel have betrayed them and their needs

My students heroes, besides the traditional choices of NBA, NFL , Major League Baseball and various
entertainerment superstars, are Muhammad Ali, Macolm X, Spike Lee, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Frederick
Douglass, Jackie Robinson, Cinque, Nat Turner, W.E.B Dubois and Jesse Jackson.

I'm offended by white folks who patronizingly think they know what's best for Blacks (I believe they're
called republicans).  It's just another form of the racism that has been used to build this country and
poison innocent young white minds.
