Subject: NASA vs the military
Hi Bart,
I agree with your response to the quote about NASA lying.
It never ceases to amaze me just how the GOP and need I say the Dems?
stingy they are
when it comes to space exploration including human space flight. (WTF),
does anyone think
that the private sector will ever put anything into space except for
unmanned resupply drones
(like the Russians have) to the ISS? Besides the Russians can do that.
What do these parties think will happen
to the ISS?
Kennedy had a dream (even though it was to beat the Russians), ever
since then it's cut, cut, cut
NASA's budget and it falls squarely on both political parties and every
president since Kennedy.
Why? Because it's more profitable to make war and keep the billionaires
making more money
than an human could never possibly spend in their life times (other an
buying elections).
It's Greed, Greed, GREED!
While I think the unmanned missions to where ever are going to continue
for a while,
What good does it do unless humans can travel to where ever or mine
natural resources?
Gee, I'd like to know if there are any civilizations out there and I
want NASA to pursue this search vigorously.
I think that such a discovery, especially being able to communicate
with, scares most of this
planet's population. What are they going to do with the fraud that is
religion then? What if such
contact with a really advanced civilization (s) and they all
communicate that they have been
everywhere across our universe, or other multi-verses that there is no
sing of any deity,
god or what ever? And, this theme continues without exception every
civilization across our universe.
What if it's true that an advanced beings can make their own
universe(es)?
Some scientific speculation has begun.
I don't trust either party to do what is needed to be done and our tiny
little planet will be
destroyed by overpopulation and depleted resources.
We are now witnessing the first phase
of destruction.
Can you say Global climate Change?
Doesn't anyone else care other than a small community of
scientist and scientific reasoning non-scientist?
As Carl Sagan puts it "Exactly the same technology can be used
for good
and for evil.
It is as if there were a God who said to us, “I set before you two
ways: You can use your
technology to destroy
yourselves or to carry you to the planets and the stars.
It's up to you.”
